The X Factor and Survivor were each adjusted up a tenth while Animal Practice and Guys With Kids were adjusted down two tenths and The Neighbors was adjusted down one tenth among adults 18-49 versus the preliminary Wednesday broadcast ratings. Nielsen is not releasing final numbers for the actual Presidential Debate because it aired without commercials, but final numbers for the post-debate coverage are below.

ABC doesn’t benefit from The Middle going into syndication. Warners owns the show. (ABC Family will, though.) ABC could only possibly benefit when the series airs in syndication and new viewers find the show. But has that really helped a show since the days of Wings and Law & Order?
Three shows that deserve their downfalls. I was really hoping for a better show for Justin Kirk, but cute monkeys go only so far, even if it’s a bad “Community” rip off. “Dads With Kids” is just mediocre. Sucks for NBC. “The New Normal” might survive, if it doesn’t get too preachy. I like the cast, and it has a nice feel.
“The Neighbors” is unwatchable. I barely got through the pilot, and the second show was worse than the first. Jami Gertz and Lenny Venito don’t work, but it’s not their fault. The show is badly defined. It’s supposed to be in Jersey, but it doesn’t come off as Jersey (which could add to the comedy) when you watch it.
Man we love animal practice. Can’t believe some of the dumbest shows do well. Last week we sat around the dorm and watched 2 shows. Hope this show stays on.
