Wow! Nielsen is finally doing something right.
@Leaveit2m3,
You do realize they’ve been producing this data for years, right?
this should be published more often!
I know many ask this, do Live+3 ratings have any impact on renewal or sticking around with a show for longer, like 666 Park Avenue went up to a 2.9 in +3 ratings, does this make any difference?
So this the the only + data that really count,then?
Live+3 is useless. Commercial+3, or C+3, is all-important. However, C+3 is almost never publicly available. Bill and Robert have said often that Live+Same Day, although not exact, is close enough (and publicly available enough) to C+3 for renew/cancel purposes.
Nielsen sucks. Bring on Rentrak.
