With Nielsen’s release of Live + 3 Day program ratings for the first week of the 2012-13 season, ABC solidified its claim of delivering TV’s #1 scripted show in , the #1 drama in ’s and the #1 new comedy in . Additionally, the Net swept Nielsen’s Upscale categories during premiere week, based on non-sports L+3 ratings.

Based on the L+3 ratings for Sunday, ABC’sgrew from a 3.9 rating among Adults 18-49 in the originally reported Live + Same Day numbers to a 5.0 rating, bolstering its rank as Sunday’s top-rated non-sports show among young adults. Gaining 1.1 Adult 18-49 rating points in its first 3 days of DVR playback, the Disney-owned drama moved up to rank as the #6 non-sports program of premiere week in the L+3 numbers, hopping over CBS’ (4.9). Initially in the L+SD statistics, trailed the CBS drama by two-tenths of a rating point.
