James I’m not running you down. When I heard that dope Tingles say that I knew he was full of it. I heard on FOX News that the rate was about the same as the 7.8% when the Prez. took office. Say what you will but FOX had the right answer.
Ratboy 144.000 more jobs were created in september you righties keep goin to that people are not lookin for jobspathetic
James 114,000 in September, not 144,000
You need about 250,000 and 3% growth to make a dent in unemployment. We are growing at 1.3% and we are creating around 125,000 a month.
@ James

I dont know how old you are but it is really obvious that you have not followed the entire unemployment issue very closely. Do you realize thate we need over twice that many every month to stay even?? Do you understand what impact the people that stopped looking has on the numbers? Do you understand the term underemployed? Do you understand that many of the jobs created in september were part time or temp. Do you understand ANY of this???
@James
Also keep in mind that the workforce in
Sept 2009 was 65.2%, with unemployment rate of 9.8%
Sept 2012 is at 63.6%, unemployment rate of 7.8%
That is a bunch of people not figured in the the 7.8%
Below is the facts from 2009

Romney will make all of this clear to the American people in the next debate. Thank God for debates.
@
USN, Ratboy
Thanks we made a good team putting the facts out there for folks that are visiting the site.
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm where did James go??
The rate got to 10% in early 2009 when the economy was still in a free fall thanks to obamas stimulus and his handling of general motors things have changed for the better

for you james
James James James, you really need to study before you stand up to debate. You think you would have learned that from the dedate on Wed.
Oh and one more thing fox sheep your hero Reagan was relected in 1984 when unemploymentwhat nwas 7.2 percent
Okay that is an argument. We also burrowed and blew a trillion bucks. We could have used pro-growth policies and achieved better results. James we have less people working today then four years ago.
Unemployment rate in the 21st Century
2001-01 – 4.2% – G.W. Bush takes office
2001-06 – 4.5% – Tax Relief & Reconciliation Act of 2001 passes
2001-09 – 5.0% – 9/11 attack
2001-10 – 5.3% – month following attack
2003-05 – 6.1% – Tax Relief & Reconciliation Act of 2003 passes
2006-12 – 4.4% – before democrats take both Senate and House of Representatives
2008-12 – 7.3% – last month before Barack Obama takes office
2009-10 – 10.10% – unemployment rate reaches its highest since 1982
James the GM/Chrysler bailout was NOT a job creater it was a job saver. And that is debatable
James//
GM still owes me (taxpsyer) 30 b
5.2 million jobs created since obama took office..
