Good a.m. and are we having fun yet?

Why are you leaving the rest of us out ?

Glad Boss stopped by. He’s ben in our thoughts & posts lately.

How did that busload you referred to work out ?

My husband is playing in golf tornaments the next 4 days. I don’t have that much planned . I’ve got a friend coming over in an hour. I’m debating whether to go pick my own apples this year or buy them . Some of the ladders require quite a climb….. you always get the best apples, though. My favorite, Honeycrisp, were frozen out this year, but, I did snag one at a luncheon yesterday.

“Good a.m. and are we having fun yet? Why are you leaving the rest of us out” ? Hi, d.d. Coffee, R.Boy. The reason I sent my comment to the Big Three is b/cause they have been getting hammered here, so I wanted to offer my ‘cheers’ to them. Of course, I enjoy everyone here, well, almost everyone. BBL

  • DB

Oh gee nancy queen of the hypocrites, I am devastated you don’t like me!! Called any libs out like Jeffie for calling people vulgar names lately or you still a hypocrite??

  • Gabriel

It appears that Mitt Romney told “27 myths in 38 minutes” but the dear leader was too geeked up and couldn’t tell him to stop.

  • d.d.

    As Gabriel would say

    “Stop it”

To disagree, one doesn’t have to be disagreeable.
    Barry Goldwater

  • Sicilian Papa

Rasmussen daily: Romney 49% Obama 47%

  • Sicilian Papa

There is that 47% again. Maybe Romney was right!

  • Suikostinger

DB. Maybe it’s because you deserve it? I’ve already proven that over and over and over. Also, rat called Jeff out first and Jeff made a retort. I agree it was over the top but rat did bring up wild accusations. Now go back to sleep in your little hole.

  • Suikostinger

    @ d.d.

It is physically impossible for DB to “stop it”. It’s been proven.

  • Sicilian Papa

The Presidential debate was the most lopsided beating ever witness by the American people. I have watched a lot of those debates over the years and I have never seen one that changed the game the way that one did.

The Prez. will do better in the town hall. Remember the guy with the ponytail. He said something like we need a father, are going to be our father. He was an undecided voter? The libs, on the committee will hand pick lefties to attack Romney and love Obama.

Romney may still win. The President in the empty suit is finally being exposed. Thank God for the debates. We would have no chance without them.

  • Sicilian Papa

Well said, we are all over the top at times. Jeff loves to dig my side but I take it all with good cheer. I do the same to him and the other lefties. I engage in serious debate but sometimes I am having fun. As long as we don’t get personal or take it to hard when we read things we don’t like.

The election will be over soon and we can talk about more fun things mixed with the events of the day. We all need to keep our cool and remember the posters on the other side are our neighbors.

  • Sicilian Papa

I read your posts and I think your posts are well thought out. It is because I like you I am saying this to you. Try to forget the wrongs of the past. Engage in debate and leave the personal stuff alone. When attacked let it pass. Turn the other cheek and have fun talking with the people that you like. That’s it, you are well liked by many and you have conflicts with others. Be of good cheer my friend and always remember the posters on the other side are our neighbors.

  • Jeff

” there ya go again!” Lol!

Thank you! Did you see all the Italians rioting! Control your people ;)

  • Jeff

Barry Goldwater would be a FLAMING LIBERAL by today’s standards of the hijackers of the current Republican Party.

    Just saying. ;)

    ‘He a white n****’…

Can you believe the Left, Demos. they are the real racist.

  • Faith3

    Good morning all,

As once quoted, “Those that fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it.”

Devaluing and floating the currency, the reduction of public expenditures, the abolishment of taxes on wealth and business profits, the slashing of government workforces, including selling off any and all state-owned enterprises, school choice, labor law reforms to the disadvantage of labor etc… has all been done before nearly 40 years ago as an experiment which led to massive poverty (50% of the population), massive unemployment (over 20%) and social unrest.

Obama has been no friend to public education nor labor laws as he may try and claim. Make no mistake, Romney would be no friend. The currency is the result of Nixon dismantling the Bretton Wood system. Both current presidential running mates want to reduce taxes on business only Romney’s tax plan goes a step further and wants to reduce taxes dramatically at the top and increase it dramatically at the bottom. Why delay the pain? (for those who don’t get sarcasm-it was intended). Afterall, the Chicago Boys didn’t call it shock therapy for nothing. It’s time to say no to these neoliberal policies that are being pushed world wide by the IMF and other international organizations. Until then enjoy fighting among each other as if we ourselves are the enemy and not these toxic policies. Hey, if nothing else, it takes the discussion away from the real problems happening here and around the world and places it on a whole host of scapegoats that probably includes every single person on this board in some form or fashion. Is it hate the players and not the game or the other way around? Oh well, sadly, history usually does end up repeating itself.

  • Doug Z

Jeff i know you support this.

    ‘He a white n****’…

  • Doug Z

You know history. They have never cut Gov.Ever!

  • Faith3

    Oh, shocker-

Mitt Romney campaigns in the rain at Lake Erie College in Painesville, Ohio. (David Richard / Associated…)WASHINGTON — Mitt Romney’s budget plan would significantly raise income taxes for many families making between $100,000 and $200,000, analyses by leading Republican economists cited by the Romney campaign show.

The Republican analyses were designed to rebut the Democratic charge that Romney’s plan would “increase taxes for the middle class.” The studies conclude that the plan could work as Romney has said, but that doing so would require eliminating all or most deductions and credits for households with income over $100,000. That would include wiping out such popular tax provisions as the deductions for mortgage interest, charitable contributions and state and local taxes. http://articles.latimes.com/2012/sep/14/nation/la-na-romney-tax-plan-20120915

I don’t blame him for not being transparent. It would be political suicide. Best to remain mum.

  • Faith3

    Well Doug,

Chile did cut government for the public but certainly not for corporations. The public was on their own while their tax money went into state interventions for monopolies.
