    I am beginning to feel Elementary is not worth watching and was overhyped. Last Resort did OK for having such a crappy time slot and it is probaly on purpose. Wish POI had been adjusted up. GA keeps on surprising me by doing so well after 9 years.

    @Oliver:

    The difference between “UAN” and “GWK” is very small. Plus, “UAN” has better reviews and more episodes in the can already. I’m not going to be surprised if it gets the order for the back nine, but a third season might be too much.

    I’m really curious to see the original pilot. Sounds like it would have been a much more interesting show overall.

    Well anyway, it’ll be interesting to see what NBC does for the rest of the season on Thursdays, because I imagine the night will get a complete overhaul next season.

    @WN:

    All the more reason for CBS to go with four comedies on Thursdays next season. Put “POI” after the Superbowl, let it grow for the rest of the season, and then slide it up to 10:00 next season.

    What took the place of Charlie’s Angels on abc after it was cancelled and how did it do in the ratings?

    Charlie’s Angels (8 episodes, Sept-Nov): 1.37 A18-49 rating
    Winter Wipeout (8 episodes, Jan-Feb): 1.86
    Missing (10 episodes, Mar-May): 1.45

    Missing and CA were canceled, and Wipeout was renewed.

    @OMG i agree with you

    @MAX
    you know none of us revenge fans did anything to you to deserve this constanst hurt. if you claim that your are not a hater then why do you always hope that it fail. why can’t you be happy with the fact that scandal has a very loyal fanbase why can’t you just leave at that. who cares if revenge gets a lot of promotion, thats no reason for you to constantly come here every week making revenge look bad. i’m going to report you and have you banned from this website if continue your absurd comments about revenge.

    @mike

    Sadly the TV industry doesn’t renew shows and cancel shows you personally like. Of course you are entitled to your opinion but most of those shows listed by you will end up renewed.

    Wao… Greys in its 9th season is doing better that PoI in its 2nd!! I want to see PoI getting 10+ in the 18-49 ratings 9 times like Greys did years ago…

  • JS

    Each of the REAL networks had something to cheer about on Thursday: CBS: Big Bang and 2 1/2 Men— ABC: Grey’s and FOX: X Factor. NBC should be forced to go dark- PATHETIC Network

    @WN

    Agreed. Look at the ratings for last season. POI wasn’t doing this well and there was stronger competition in its time slot, and yet The Mentalist STILL did better numbers than Elementary is doing right now. It kept the POI audience. Elementary has got a gift of a timeslot with a great lead-in and no really strong competition so it needs to do better quick. CBS is not going to waste that timeslot. Unforgettable was a goner when it started to lose .5, then .7, then 1.0 from its lead-in (NCIS:LA).

    I wouldn’t be surprised if Elementary gets a full season pick-up but changes timselots before spring. CBS has a great opportunity to put POI/The Mentalist back together and end up with a really strong Thursday against ABC’s Rimes block. We all know CBS doesn’t care about TGW, they can put Elementary with it and burn off the rest of the season.

    POI is my favorite show but I’m not sure of this ROOT storyline. It seems to be pushing into scifii territory. It needs to stay grounded in reality. It is starting to portray the violence in a light hearted mode in the first two episodes. I don’t like that. Most great shows have one thing in common. That would be consistentcy.

  • Carol

    @ jimmags, not to worry, the Root storyline on POI will be backburnered for several months now that Finch is rescued. I agree the the focus needs to remain in the real world with the superb investigative team of Reese, Carter, and Fusco. Now that he’s back in the library, Finch can continue guiding the team.

    POI is a fantastic show with terrific performances and excellent story lines. The complete package. It is headed for the stratosphere in ratings and total viewers.

  • Roco

    So many people hate on Scandal, the show is addictive, Some may like it, some may not, get over it. @ Rob, dude your haterism is really getting old my friend..

  • mmel

    Roco
    I completely agree with you , that is why the fan base is so loyal. I know that’s the one show that I can’t help but watch, Rob may not like it but that’s his problem.

  • LisaNeedsBraces

    Scandal will be fine as long as it maintains that solid base. It’s not setting the world on fire but it’s consistent from week to week and ABC have nothing else to put on after GA.

  • Scandalfan

    Sorry but 2.0 rating at a 10pm time slot is not a bad rating Scandal is a good show hope it sticks around.

  • Nick

    @LisaNeedsBraces

    ABC have nothing else to put on after GA.

    Oh, yeah. They don’t have 3 new dramas (Red Widow, Zero Hour, and Mistresses) and 1 returning drama (Body of Proof) that need a spot on the schedule.

    Scandal may be safe for the end of its run, but there’s an extremely little chance of it getting a full season.
