The X Factor, Last Resort, 30 Rock, Grey's Anatomy, and The Office were each adjusted up a tenth while The Next, Two and a Half Men, Person Of Interest, Elementary, Scandal and Rock Center were each adjusted down a tenth among adults 18-49 versus the preliminary Thursday broadcast ratings.

You couldn’t be more wrong… The premiere just needed to close the season 1 finale, and they did last night. The show goes back to its traditional formula next week.

As for the Last Resort’s ratings, its ratings are collapsing after JUST two episodes. It likely won’t get a full season.
Falling 0.3 is not “collapsing”.
Last Resort will get canned after it’s 13 episodes…
And as for everyone talking about Revenge.. I liked season , but the season 2 opener was a stinker. too much conspiracy and sneaking around abandoned hospitals.
Greys Anatomey is an awful show, but hey, Americans sure love crap

Where did you exactly hear that the show was being filled up its too many characters? As far as I’ve heard POI has set 3-4 villains that are going to be there for extended seasons and revolves around 4 mains characters. And it’s not like the villains show up every episode as well? Maybe it was from what you heard in the UK but most people I know enjoy the the show and its unique cast instead of being a show where it only focuses on one main villain (cough cough Mentalist). And more than likely, they will get killed off, and new ones will appear (the villains).

If Last Resort settles between a 1.8-2.3 area they WILL renew it. ABC knows how hard it is to start a show at 8pm on Thursday. It’s been a DEATH slot for them.
Also why keep Scandal in that spot? Private Practice was getting the same ratings (Actually a bit higher) and it’s ad rates for PP were HIGHER (Articles from Forbes).
Scandal will finish it’s 13 episode but I honestly can’t see it getting a third season if it stays in this range (1.8-2.1). And Scandal is not praised by critics. Also you NEVER see Scandal in the DVR Ratings have you?
I don’t watch Revenge but I have to give it props. It’s SUCCESSFUL and even without a strong lead in last season it always was higher then Scandal and a lot of other drama shows on ABC. Also Revenge is a HIT overseas and that’s always great for the network. Revenge also is DVR’d a lot and if you add that to it’s live ratings Revenge averages 3.5-4.

Question CBS will put one show after super bowl(most probably POI or 2BG) and one after afc championship(again POI or 2BG), right? What’s the deference? They will be both in primetime(the same time) or i am wrong?
I can understand GA helping PP ratings because they are both hospital romance type shows, I think PP may be a spin off of GA. So I can see the GA audience sticking around for a spin off with a similar theme. But otherwise I do not think a large lead in helps shows much, and Scandal seems nothing like GA or PP.
I hope Revenge continues to have decent ratings. I love Revenge!
Other than Elementary, Scandal has no broadcast competition whereas other ABC 10PM shows do.
Scandal with real competition and no lead in is at best a 1.6 show.

Last Resort did OK. As long as it doesn’t go under 1.8, it might get a second chance on another night. It’s a shame it disn’t do better, though.
Elementary is not the hit everyone was expecting. It’s still going to be renewed.
The Next is dead.
