    Just curious but is it you job to comment on these sights? Because I was just scrolling throu comments on other posts, and I see your name alot, so I was just curious?

    *sites* sorry about typo

  • Holly

    I said that Grey’s dropped at least 0.5 each year because there was one year with only a 0.58 drop. Usually it was bigger than that.

    *through* I just can’t type today. Sorry about typos.

    Very happy about the last resort adjustment! Looks less bad now… I have some hope. Let’s see what next week does. Right now, it’s on the range o the 10pm shows at ABC. I keep being worried about Scandal. It needs to air one day without GA so that we can understand if it would survive a move to another night or not. If those 2.0 really are loyal and would tune in no matter what, that’s valueable for ABC, as they can use it for a problematic slot (cough Thursdays at 8) therefore using GA to boost another show which actually benefits from the lead in. If not, I dont feel a 2.0 is good enough following greys with no competition from nbc. I love Scandal though, so it gets me worried.

    Elsewhere, Poi still did good, Glee also did good, and also glad for the GA adjustment. Parks did surprisingly good this week.

    My Question is why are people still watching Grey’s Anatomy, that show jumped the shark a long time a go

    @ Kyle

    Because it wasn’t… Revenge started high in its first season, but by the end of its run it was between 2.0 and 2.3. ABC, however, felt that this could be their next DH, so it moved it to DH’s spot and spent tons of money promoting it.

    They did two recap episodes. They run ads all day on the net for Revenge, and there are huge magazine spreads for the show. It got into ABC’s Emmy reel with ABC equating it to Greys, MF, and OUAT. None of the other ABC shows got that push.

    Not even OUAT which is ABC’s true hit of last year gets this type of promotion, and if anyone is honest OUAT lifted Revenge’s premiere numbers.

    ABC’s promotion of Revenge reminds me of how NBC pushed Smash last year and Revolution this year. ABC has a lot of riding on it, but I think the money would have been better spent on new projects.

    The decision in hindsight looks bad given the collapse of DWTS.

    Nope :lol:

    scandal haters need to get over it. lead-in, competition, whatever. the show has developed a small, but loyal fanbase, almost like an NBC show lol grey’s fell 0.6 this week, but there’s only a 0.1 dip for scandal. no, it’s not great. but it’s still better than what castle and PP did this week. and most likely will be higher than 666 this sunday too. anyway, i don’t care if it’s the next body of proof. i just hope it gets a renewal cus it’s awesome. and i wish ABC would promote it more and better! show some exciting stuff happens instead of just how “sexy” it is that olivia and fitz are making out.

    i wanna watch person of interest now is it on hulu. i dont wanna start in its 2nd season.

    @Oliver:

    I wouldn’t be so sure that NBC cancels “UAN.” It’s a young show that is owned by NBC. After this season, if it gets a full 22/24 episodes, it’ll be half way to syndication. It’s still find itself creatively, but considering that it has multiple recognizable, promotable stars and lots of potential and is on NBC, which has a lot of problems, it could easily survive. That, and NBC probably wants to keep Lorne Michaels, et al happy.

    You have to wonder how it might do in a different time slot.

    @Ultima

    I was thinking that you and Holly are part of tv by the numbers.

    @Jon
    why are people still watching Grey’s Anatomy, that show jumped the shark a long time a go

    Apparently not, as it is currently the #1 drama and is the only show that is up year-to-year.

  • snoot

    Was hoping 30 rock would adjust down. Such a terrible show

  • sam

    I watched the first Elementary and hated it. I didn’t watch last night and it looks like a lot of other people who sampled it also didn’t come back.

  • Connor

    @ Petar Ivanov

    I know that’s what I thought too! Considering how much they actually comment, I thought they worked here. But apparently they just know ALOT about tv shows.

  • Dean_W

    My guess for CBS Shows next season.

    Two and a Half Men = Final Season.
    Vegas = Will got a full-season order but it’ll be canceled in May 2013.
    Made in Jersey = Canceled before its fifth episode.
    Partners = Same as Made in Jersey.
    Elementary = Renewed

    “Last Resort” is below a 2.0 ALREADY?! That’s the end of that. It will be yanked for November sweeps or moved to Fridays. Definitely no “back 9″ coming; 13 and it’s done. Shame. It could have been the next “LOST,” but it just doesn’t have an appealing enough cast, aside from its 2 leads. Nobody wants to invest, and not with such a gloomy premise :(

  • matt

    Its not all about 18-49 ratings, if Last Resort can hold around 8M viewers, it';ll be fine
