Nielsen TV Ratings: ©2012 The Nielsen Company. All Rights Reserved.

NOTE: All ratings are "live plus same day" from Nielsen Media Research unless otherwise indicated.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.  More information on ratings is available here.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

Why does Shark Tank seem to rise when Lori sits in for Barbara? haha I’d like to see Lori and Barbra on the panel simultaneously (they do both appear in the opening credits)

  • Dan

Keep it consistent Fringe, 11 more episodes to go. You’ve at least reached 100 by the end of the series which is something only a handful of FOX dramas can say.

@Bill – I expect CBS should be pulling Made in Jersey today or soon. The past couple of seasons they’ve jept dramas until the whole season before cancelling them in May, but a .8 is just terrible. NCIS repeats can do better and if CBS plugs in Undercover Boss that might help them (Should they have Undercover Boss available) They should move CSI NY to 9 and air UB at 8 but thats just my opinion.

CSI NY will end in May, after the past 2 seasons of crafting series finales, this year CSI NY should have no problem actually ending the show.

Made in Jersey is not a CBS show & needs to go–fast, get NY back @ 9:00 & hope BB rebounds as they can’t afford to start losing 10:00 Fri

Shark Tank takes night & will hold 8:00 until Tim & Reba arrive

Grimm has solid hold @ 9:00 for NBC—GO GRIMM

Reruns of XFAC beat the Voice @ 8:00–Uh Oh

  • Dan S

By placing the wretched MIJ between 2 compatible shows CSINY & BB CBS has effectively hurt there Fridays overall. What is going on over at that network ? H50 is in the dumps & their other new shows Partners, Vegas & Elementary are quickly dropping. I guess maybe they should’ve kept Miami as a backup as it was a reliable show steady in the ratings.

  • Rooks

When you get beat by Fringe, it’s time to reevaluate your programming choices.

  • Dennis

Grimm is doing fantastic this season….. still not dipped under 5 million do far on its Friday slot this year… Well done. Fantastic show.

Fringe fairly steady…. it has hit lower last season.
But I dont care. Fantastic show and its been an honor to be a fan.
Still funny to see it in 3rd place with only a 1.0 though

  • Ricky

CBS better have something waiting in the wings to replace MiJ…is Golden Boy ready yet? And hopefully CBS will have Unforgettable restart production ASAP, just in case GB flops too!

Awesome Fringe last night, of course. Can’t wait to see what the rest of the tapes say. And WWYD was great too. How could it not be, when Howie Mandel was part of the show?

  • Marcos

made in jersey the first to be axed?

  • badman

what is going on with CBS this year?? this is really strange.. everything is very low on CBS.. everything is a disaster except of NCIS and TBBT..!

  • Dennis

Also, how come NBC don’t make press releases about Grimm constantly winning its time slot?

  • Justin121

Grimm is looking like a blockbuster on Fridays.

2 million tuned out of CBS and then 3 million tuned in. Jersey is done, but I don’t think they should move CSI: NY at all.

Reality repeats are burning out fast.

  • Petar Ivanov

Qestion for people in US watching CBS….
Is CBS still wasting money and timet for advertising and promo their crap new shows like partners, made in jersey, Elementary and Vegas(all of them flop and will be cancel) instead of their hit shows like 2BG and POI???

ABC waste a lot of money for revenge but CBS may be bigger iditos.(ABC advertise great ONCE) I saw only one time 2BG ad in deadline site and zap2it sute. ANd so many times ads for all these crap new shows.

  • Some Guy

I have to admit, NBC will start to win Fridays with this trend…heck, even Whitney will contribute.

    COMMUNITY- OCT 19th.

  • Petar Ivanov

IS this series lows for CSI and BB?

  • Brian J

Depending on what happens with “SVU” and/or “Chicago Fire” this season and next, NBC should consider moving “Grimm” to Wednesdays at 9:00 and pairing it with “Hannibal.” What would go at 8:00 is an open question.

Given that “Shark Tank” is always steady and pulls in a very wealthy audience, I can see why ABC has stuck with it.

Ouch for “Made in Jersey.” I just don’t see how this one lasts.

  • rob60990

Yea Shark Tank. The show is always more entertaining when Lori from QVC is there.

IMade in Jesey needs to be pulled immediately.

  • Mitchell

Grimm so steady without a lead-in on Fridays. Fantastic.

Made In Jersey Damn is a huge FLOP. They should have kept Gifted Man which was a much better show. IMO CBS should move Vegas or Good Wife. How about maybe moving the Amazing Race from Sunday nights to Friday nights?

ABC rocks with Shark Tank. What a great little Friday hit this has become. Its a great show and very cheap to produce. It looks like CBS found a Friday staple in Shark Tank. Its cheap in cost and is delivering. Honestly I would really love to see Last Resort on Friday’s at 9pm. I think it would work on Fridays as it did well in its repeat. We will see how the ABC comedies do on Friday’s. The Tim Allen show should do okay. Shark Tank is the Friday surprise. Why isn’t doing so well?
