Update: Once Upon a Time fell to a 3.3 preliminary adults 18-49 rating, almost all of those voting in the poll were too optimistic.

Last week, Once Upon A Time debuted to a big 3.9 adults 18-49 rating. The question is whether the show can keep up the ratings fairytale now that the characters are aware of their true identities. In its favor: tonight's episode features the return of Barbara Hershey as Regina's mother and was written by sci fi/fantasy fan favorite Jane Espenson. Make your predictions now and check back tomorrow to see if the all-powerful Nielsen wizard agreed with you.

REALLY hope 666 can stay above the 2.0 though it’s highly unlikely… After 1 episode I already love this show!

  • The End

Probably something like 3.4/10 million viewers near enough.

  • Andy

OUAT – 3.5 (although I’m hoping for more)
    Revenge – 2.9 (ditto)
    666 PA – 1.5 (I don’t really care how it does)

OUAT – 3.7, don’t see why it should fall. Might even beat Grey’s to be ABC’s highest rated show this week.

    Revenge – 3.1

666 Park Ave – 1.9, I’ll give this another try, but didn’t really like the premiere.

The Simpsons – 3.4, surprised the Tree House of Horror episode is quite early this year.

    Family Guy – 3.2

Fox is airing baseball the next three Sundays and the X Factor wildcard show Nov. 4. The next available Sunday is Nov. 11. Therefore, the Treehouse of Horror airs tonight.

I think OUAT can last if they don’t drag it out like they did with LOST. Now that the characters know who they are, they can follow their story arcs to completion and the series I would think could run for 3 years solid and end without the quality suffering.

LOST should have been only 2 years and they dragged it out and killed it for 6 seasons. I’m hoping Revolution won’t be dragged out either, but it’s by the LOST team which makes me wary since the end of LOST sucked ass.

Revenge’s writers as well should have a finite date of ending since it can’t go on forever.

it will hold or dip a tenth. its up against 2 teams only NO and sd care about. and ouat gave it a pretty good twist and didnt float there like a turd that lost did.

Shows generally fall from their premieres, so OUAT is likely to drop. The question is merely by how much.

Debuting at 3.9, my guess is the drop will be significant, possibly as much as 10%, but possibly lower. That would put it around 3.5 at 10%, or if 5%, 3.7. It could, of course, drop even further depending on what else is on or market disruptions or whatever.

The premiere did not impress me. The notion of the fairy tale characters now operating in our world, I suspect, will be a bit difficult to accept for the audience. Of course, it all depends on the quality of the writing.

    Once Upon A Time: 3.6-3.8
    Revenge: 3.0-3.2
    666 Park Avenue: 1.8-2.1

I’m totally confident with Once and Revenge, I don’t think they’ll drop that far at all given how great and well taken their premieres were last week.

666 Park I am a little nervous for, but we’ll see.

3.8, don’t think it will fall much at all

  • Mark

    Once Upon A Time – 3.8
    Revenge – 3.0
    666 Park Avenue – 2.0

ABC won’t let two very important shows to them just end after 3 seasons unless OUAT and Revenge’s ratings fall substantially. They’ve already got very big problems at the moment on Mondays, Tuesdays and all 10pm time slots. This year is going to be a very difficult one for ABC.

  • Hello

Cancel Park Ave. Vanessa williams plays the same character in all shows she’s been on. Boring!
