Update: Once Upon a Time fell to a 3.3 preliminary adults 18-49 rating, almost all of those voting in the poll were too optimistic.

Last week, Once Upon A Time debuted to a big 3.9 adults 18-49 rating. The question is whether the show can keep up the ratings fairytale now that the characters are aware of their true identities. In its favor: tonight's episode features the return of Barbara Hershey as Regina's mother and was written by sci fi/fantasy fan favorite Jane Espenson. Make your predictions now and check back tomorrow to see if the all-powerful Nielsen wizard agreed with you.

    OUAT – 3.5
    Revenge – 3.0
    666 – 2.2

  • LL2

Absolutely, Once Upon a Time is a well written show.

  • Matthew

I’m guessing that OUAT will bearly drop, but the drop will be very little considering the season premiere was very solid in the first half hour and the second half hour. It’s possibly that it could actully rise to a 4.1 considering the season premiere did a 3.9 and OUAT season finale did a 3.3

    AFV: 2.1
    OUAT: 3.7-4.9
    Revenge: 3.0
    666 Park Avenue: 2.0-2.3

I think 666 will be a lot like Scandal’s where the ratings will stay the same thanks to Revenge and OUAT. But it will probably still be cancelled due to how low those ratings are considering how high OUAT and Revenge will be.

  • Matthew

Wait, I meant 3.7 to 4.1 for OUAT not 3.7 to 4.9, my mistake.

  • Alex

If the stories continue to be interesting and they don’t mess around with the characters, I don’t see a reason why OUAT can’t continue to do well.

    @Richard Steven Hack

The notion of the fairy tale characters now operating in our world, I suspect, will be a bit difficult to accept for the audience

That’s stupid. If they didn’t like that, they wouldn’t watch in the first place!

Once Upon A Time – 3.7 (First season dropped from a 4.1 to 3.9 between first two episodes)
Revenge – 2.5 (First season dropped from a 3.3 to a 2.7 between first two episodes)
666 Park Avenue – 1.9 (Pan Am dropped from a 3.1 to a 2.6 between first two episodes)

  • The End

I agree, and even with their memories back, it’s not like they know how to go home yet.

I suspect at some point, be it Season 2, 3 or onwards that they try to undo the curses effects on their world.

Complete restoration + Good winning the day + Everyone safe and well = Series done.

As much I as I really enjoyed 666 Park Ave. Here’s how I think it will go

    Once Upona Time- 3.4
    Revenge- 2.9
    666 Park Ave- 1.7

Damn shame because the pilot was great for 666 Park Ave.

I think it will continue to do well…it really is good counter NFL programming, and the premiere showed that they’ve still got an interesting story to tell. Breaking the premise at the end of the first season was a pretty bold move, and I think it’s going to pay off…IMO the whole “they don’t know who they are” stuff would have gotten stale pretty quickly.

    I give it a 3.6

  • Hugh

This show is gonna do 6 seasons like LOST. Biggest drama in years.

  • Hello

People never grow up. They like their fairy tales. They went from Disney to Once Upon a Time. GROW UP!

  • Lucy

Once Upon a Time will likely have a comfortable 5 year run at least. I don’t see it going anymore tbh.

I hope they stay steady with last week or go up! Both Once and Revenge hit it out of the park with their episodes tonight. They were outstanding! Man those are the two best dramas on television right now! If you aren’t watching, then you are missing out big time. Have yet to watch 666 Park Ave, but I hope it stays at least above a 2.0 because I think it has potential.

  • Eugenius

@movies4reel, indeed amazing shows from ABC on Sundays, I love all three of them plus CBS’s The Good Wife.

I really wish 666 to get picked up for a full season, it’s keeping me on toes.

And OUAT was amazing last night.
