Deadline is reporting that three additional scripts have been ordered for new comedy The Neighbors. While scripts don't always translate into episodes, this certainly could be encouraging news for those hoping for a full series pickup for the alien comedy.

Love the Neighbors. Something fresh and innovative. I am looking forward to a full season. Thanks for taking the chance on this show.

This is a great quirky comedy. No laugh track. The sociological humor gets me every time. You deadbeat drones that watch all the networks for the same scripted rating hodge podge are disgusting. No wonder why the NFL dominants Nielson ratings. Plebeians love watching the gladiators fight in the arena… year after year, after year, after year, after year. When did Rome collapse again?

I think this show has already gotten a ”de facto” full season pickup. There has been no announcements for any other show this season besides those on FOX and NBC and based on the ratings, it is the best performing new show on ABC. I think the execs are just withholding the official announcement because they want to see how Nashville does and they don;t want viewers to be complacent. An announcement may come tomorrow based on how Last Resort does.

Anyway, love the actress playing “Jackie Joyner-Kersee”.

Loved the first three episodes. Laughed out loud many times. Yes, I’ve seen better, but not for several years. Here’s hoping it takes off and the quirky characters get even better. Please give it a chance.
