The secret to the debate is this, Ryan and Romney do not need to put any plans out there to satisfy the undecided. all they have to do is keep throwing the ball to Biden and Obama to defend their record and successes for the last 4 years. It will be VP debate….swing and a miss, 2nd Romney/Obama Debate. …. Swing and a miss, 3rd Romney/Obama debate………swing and a miss! Strike 3 Obama/Biden are out!!
Ezra Klein was doing Lawrence’s show, and I think it was prerecorded, as the red LIVE dog was off the whole show. I hope Lawrence on 5 days a week is not just for the run-up to the elections.
Coffee Steve, I am half way through Killing Kennedy(11) and it is really really good!!! Now dont go ruining it for me by telling me the ending!!!!!
If you guys have not got it…….GO GET IT! And get Killing Lincoln(193)too!!!!!
@Ratboy
Just heard a DNC guy on local TV station admitting the Pew Reserach poll out and the data contained in it is very troubling. Romney is now seen to have more moderate views than the Pres.
Steve Hayes prettyuch just said the same thing on Fox as well. He said that part of the poll is what stood out to hiom as being the most important.
The Pew poll was very extensive.
@ KromozIII
Dont be suprised if Larry O quits after the elections. He made it known a year or more ago that he did not want to do the tv thing very much longer and eluded to getting out after the elections.
@Rats
My widfe is very picky on rewading and even she thought Kiling Kennedy (11) was outstanding, and she is a very tough critic

I disagree somewhat, I think Biden is going to go after Ryan hard. They are shaken by the poll numbers.
If the jobs picture gets better and it helps Obama so be it. I don’t want them to succeed with this liar strategy they have embarked on. That is probably the lowest I have ever seen a Presidential campaign stoop to. They sound like the worst kind of political hacks.
^very picky on reading (on mini-laptop)
AGAIN!!!

As we get closer, the MSM is either going to start covering the real race or just go black! There are just too many things ponting to a real swing and the Libya thing is drawing too much negative attention to Obama to seep that or the swing in the race under the rug.
@S. Papa
You may be right, But I have seen and heard Ryan debating on the house floor, he won’t back down and he is a pitbull on steriods.

Coffee Steve
If Biden goes hard at Ryan he will pull back a stump.
Another eliquent comment by the million dollar Obama donor
Bill Maher: ‘John Sununu Is a Racist Fat F–k’
@S. Papa
Tell you what, if Biden tries to get in a numbers game with Ryan, Biden may start crying on-stage
“Do you realize that debate may have been the first time in at least four years that somebody looked at Barack Obama and said, ‘You know what? You’re full of it, pal, and you’re ruining this country.’ I don’t think Obama’s used to being opposed or stood up to the way Mitt Romney did.” -Rush Limbaugh
“While there is a general acceptance among the Moron Class for all of this deviancy and economic activity being defined down, there’s now a suspicion of accomplished, educated, achieved people — and they somehow represent what’s wrong with America!” -Rush Limbaugh
“If you ask me, Hillary Clinton ought to be forced to resign. This Benghazi happens while she’s secretary of state. All this unrest is at our embassy — at our embassy! She runs the embassies and the consulates.” -Rush

I am telling you guys all ryan has to do is look at Biden and say ” So joe please start with an explination as to why the Senate. which you preside over, has not produced a budget in 3 years and when you are done, and take all the time you need, tell us about 6 trillion in new debt, 16 trillion overall debt, no net job gains, and if we have time tell us about all the ne peole on food stamps! I will be over here, ya mind if I sit down?”
suiko, I await a response to my post at Thurday’s ratings concerning the Brett Baier special. I know you are busy but would love to hear your take on the bias, if any, on the segment on sustainability. How does sustainability relate to racism? Should social justice have a part in any sustainability policy? Finally, have you changed your mind on Brett’s reporting based on what I thought was a very thorough look at Obama’s green policies.
Regime Narrative: Romney Lied
RUSH: Let’s now head to these sound bites. This is Sunday morning. We have a montage of Obama advisers Robert Gibbs and David Axelrod talking about Romney’s performance at the first presidential debate.
GIBBS: I’m not gonna take away from Mitt’s masterful theatrical performance. He did a superb acting job. He did everything but learn tap dance.
AXELROD: Governor Romney showed up to deliver a performance, and he delivered a very good performance.
AXELROD: Governor Romney went to give a performance. He gave a good performance.
AXELROD: George Burns said, all you need to succeed in show business is sincerity — and if you can fake that, you got it made. And that’s essentially what Governor Romney’s been about this whole week.
RUSH: How many things have these guys thrown at the wall hoping something sticks? And this is just the latest. “Ah, it was a performance. He didn’t mean any of it. Once you fake sincerity, then the rest is easy.” They’re floundering. Their side is floundering. These people on the left… There are stories of these professors at Harvard and so forth. Folks, they don’t know what to do. They’re very worried. It’s like I told you last week: They believe in this concoction of Obama as the most brilliant human being ever conceived.
They believe this stuff!
GIBBS: Governor Romney had a masterful theatrical performance this past week. Again, it was a masterful — masterful performance by Governor Romney.
RUSH: There are two themes now as we head into the Ryan-Biden debate and the next Obama-Romney debate, particularly the Obama-Romney debate. The two themes are that Romney lied and he just turned in a much greater performance. “Whoa, what a great performance!” That was all over television yesterday. That’s the latest theme. In fact, the New York Times today is carrying the theme. They say that the Obama aides were appalled that Obama “didn’t say his lines right” in the debate.
