Sticking with Face the Nation, here is John Dickerson. He is the CBS political director, and he and Axelrod ultimately have this little exchange…
DICKERSON: When Senator Obama in 2008 said, “I’m gonna cut the deficit in half; I’m gonna close Gitmo,” a lot of people said those are unrealistic, but they didn’t say he wasn’t telling the truth.
AXELROD: Well, uh…
DICKERSON: There’s a difference, isn’t there?
AXELROD: No, there — there is — there… The difference is that, ummm, closing Gitmo was an — involved an act of Congress, and he wasn’t able to get Congress, uhhh, to agree with him on that question.
RUSH: Oh, come on.
AXELROD: This is basic math.
RUSH: Come on!
I told you before he was immaculated that he was not gonna close Gitmo. I told you that he was not gonna purposely lose Iraq. He was not gonna close Gitmo. What “math,” Mr. Axelrod? For two years the Republicans couldn’t stop Barack Obama on anything! The Republicans did not have enough votes in the House to stop Obama doing anything: Illegal immigration. Amnesty. Health care, cap and trade. You name it!
You could have done anything in those first two years!
The Republicans couldn’t stop you
@Ratboy & S. Papa
And if Biden starts the you’re lying syndrome? Ryan: How bout the Libya attack Joe? How long did it take your side to tell the truth after you knew about it after 24 hours and for days and days lied about that video causing it.
Trust me Ryan isn’t going to sit down on anything. Yep Joes pretty good at debates, but Ryan has alot of ammo to come back with.

See, I Told You So: Regime Manipulates the Jobless Number Below 8% by Election Day
RUSH: There you have it, folks. The economy’s back. The stimulus worked. The job council’s programs all worked. Obamacare worked. Look at all the jobs, 114,000 new jobs created, and as I told you last December, this would happen. The unemployment rate under 8%. It’s 7.9, but it doesn’t matter, 7.8, 7.9, whatever’s after the decimal point doesn’t matter. It’s the seven that matters, and the reason it does is that no incumbent president has ever been reelected with the unemployment rate over 8%. It’s that simple.
And right here they are. First, December 20th of 2011, this is how the program started:
Let me tell you something. The Washington Post, ABC — I think it’s them — they had a poll out today that shows Obama’s approval numbers are coming back. And I want to remind you that I have warned you this kind of thing is going to happen. The unemployment number is going to precipitously drop and it’s going to get close to 8% by next November. Just mark my words. That’s in the can. It’s in the cards. Also, Obama’s approval number now is up five points over the last three months or some such thing. Not sure of the time frame, but it’s up the highest since last summer, and this is being heralded.

*MILITARY TIMES POLL: R 66% O 26%…
The professional core of the U.S. military overwhelmingly favors Mitt Romney over President Obama in the upcoming election — but not because of any particular military issues, according to a new poll of more than 3,100 active and reserve troops.

Have you noticed CBS has started to go all out on the Libya story? And it’s about time they started backing Logan as well. That woman went through pure hell, and NO ONE in the WH, Comgress on either side has tried to do anything for her.

I want to thank you for watching Tingles for us. I used to watch the MESS and report back here. I even watched MSDNC and FOX at the same time on two seperate TV’s from 6 – 9 and gave play by play right here. But I couldnt and cant do it anymore! More than a snipit of Mattews or Schultz and I start to shake and get sick to my stomach and at the same time I get thoughts of tearing the heads off of innocent birds.
So thank you my friend but remember if it starts getting weird CHANGE THE CHANNEL before it is too late!

MARY MATALIN: “Professor, can I ask you? You have mischaracterized and you have lied about every position and every particular of the Ryan plan on Medicare, from the efficiency of Medicare administration to calling it a voucher plan. So you’re hardly credible on calling somebody else a liar.”

CBS’ Lara Logan: Obama Is Lying To The American People, Jihadists Are Stronger Than Ever And They Are Coming After Us…
========================
The fundamental problem here is Faith not jihad. Jihad is a loaded term used by people to divert attention away from the faith issue. Yes, the action itself is despicable and cowardly. Anyone who blows up a school filled with children is a coward. But what we need is to have a standard for what can be held as a faith, and it should be grounded in reality. As long as evangelical preachers continue to stand in front of other human beings and claim authority from an invisible celestial being, without being asked to provide evidence for their claims, expect other humans in faraway parts of the globe to make “different” claims about their own invisible celestial beings and the orders they receive from them. Address the issue of invisible celestial beings head-on, and jihad disappears.

Have you noticed CBS has started to go all out on the Libya story? And it’s about time they started backing Logan as well. That woman went through pure hell, and NO ONE in the WH, Comgress on either side has tried to do anything for her.
Two pure and simple reasons.
1) Too come out in support of her would say that the folks that “hurt her” were criminals or terrorists.
2) They knew that she would not run cover-up stories for them.
@ Coffee Steve
Nice to see that I’m not the only one who listens to Rush Limbaugh.
What is it ? He’s 99.7% right/correct in what he says.
Look out! Here come the dumbocrats that do listen to him saying he does nothing but lie and make up stories.
If the dumbocrats would look at his web page they would see that he posts the sources for his musings.
SUPRISE!!
Romney’s strong debate helps him close gap with Obama in Michigan, poll shows
LANSING — Republican candidate Mitt Romney’s strong performance in his first debate with President Barack Obama helped him trim Obama’s lead in Michigan to three percentage points, a poll released today to the Free Press shows.
Obama’s 10 percentage point lead (47%-37%) in a poll conducted last month by EPIC-MRA of Lansing dropped to 3 points (48% to 45%), according to the poll of 600 likely voters conducted by EPIC-MRA of Lansing. The gap between Romney and Obama was within the poll’s margin of error of plus or minus 4 percentage points.
Undecided voters shrank from the September survey’s 16% to just 7%.

I have a long standing dislike for Tingles. Watching him destroy himself does give me some satisfaction. He is now a joke and looked at as a loon after his knives comment. That is justice.
Fair And Balanced? Fox News’ Hour-Long Attack On Obama’s “Green Agenda”
A Fox News special on President Obama’s “green agenda” presented a one-sided discussion of Environmental Protection
I don’t have any expectation for DB to understand this post, nor believe science. Since science and math are the NEW enemy of the Republican Party.
Fox Airs One-Sided Discussion Of EPA Rules
Fox’s hour-long special painted a one-sided picture of environmental regulations, featuring 18 critics and only 1 supporter of EPA clean air and water rules. Fox interviewed three Republican politicians, an industry executive, a radio host, and five coal miners, but not a single scientist, Democratic member of Congress, or environmental group to discuss the threats of air pollution and global warming.
Fox Links EPA To “Radical” Agenda
Fox focused the first segment of its special on former regional EPA administrator Al Armendariz, who resigned after a political firestorm erupted over an analogy he made in 2010 comparing his environmental enforcement strategy to Roman crucifixion. Although he clearly stated that he was referring only to companies that were “not compliant with the law,” Fox once again took his comments out of context to suggest that the EPA targets oil and gas companies unnecessarily.
While Fox suggested that Armendariz’s comments revealed the EPA’s “radical” intentions, many in the industry have praised the EPA under the Obama administration for its restraint and recognized that the agency is legally required to implement many overdue rules.
Fox Questions Whether Climate Change Is “A Real Problem”
In a segment on the EPA’s supposed “mission creep,” the host of the special, Bret Baier, questioned whether global warming is a “real problem”:
[A]n all-out effort to lower the temperature of the planet, assuming global warming is a real problem that humans can reverse, would surely be the most complicated and expensive undertaking in human history.
He went on to quote people with no scientific expertise to cast doubt on the threat of climate change. Radio host Mark Levin denied that carbon dioxide is a pollutant that should be regulated, saying: “Carbon dioxide is what we exhale. Carbon dioxide is necessary for plants.” Coal miner Buz Hilberry later echoed this, saying: “I’m no scientist but CO’s what make plant grows and what make you breathe, so they’re trying to choke us all out by stopping the burning of coal.”
But Fox did not consult a single climate scientist, the vast majority of which agree that human activity is changing our climate.
Fox Portrays Sustainability As “Quasi-Marxist”
After explaining that sustainability is when “healthy environments,” “strong economies” and “social justice” intersect, Fox News reporter Gregg Jarett said in an ominous voiceover, “in other words, sustainability is about a lot more than the environment.” After exposing that sustainability encompasses “strong economies” and equal rights, Fox linked the EPA to the sustainability bogeyman. Fox did not mention that News Corp., Fox’s parent company, also encourages “sustainability.”
Fox Ignores Health Impacts Of Coal
Fox devoted a large portion of its special to the impact of EPA rules on coal miners. But while it linked the EPA regulations to efforts to combat global warming, it failed to mention that the majority of the regulations are actually designed to limit the health risks from coal. In a 2011 summary report commissioned by the American Lung Association, scientists concluded that “hazardous air pollutants emitted to the atmosphere by coal-fired power plants cause a wide range of adverse health effects including damage to eyes, skin, and breathing passages; negative effects on the kidneys, lungs, and nervous system; increasing the risk of cancer; impairment of neurological function and ability to learn; and pulmonary and cardiovascular disease.” And according to the American Academy of Pediatrics, children are “disproportionally impacted by air pollution.”
Fox also failed to mention that competition with cheap natural gas is one of the primary reasons that coal generation is declining.
Here’s the breakdown of the Fox News hour long dump of propaganda. Since science math and facts are big problems for Republicans these days, I don’t expect this to have any impact on them.
Listening to Joan Walsh talk about Biden like he’s Clarence Darrow is laughable. Tingles is eating up. His nickname in the Senate was “Slow Joe.”
