During the week September 17-23, Revolution topped the rankings for the week's DVR viewing adults 18-49 ratings added between the Live+Same Day period (as reported in all our other ratings posts) and the Live + 7 Day measurement periods with a gain of 1.8 adults 18-49 ratings points.
America's Top Model topped the % adults 18-49 ratings increase from DVR viewing, adding 60% to its Live+Same Day adults 18-49 ratings.

Definitions:
DVR (Time-shifted) Adults 18-49 Ratings – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs.
Live+Same Day(Live+SD) ratings include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing.
Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.
DVR Ratings Increase Past Airdate - How many people watched the show on their DVRs within 7 days following the airdate
Until the 2009-2010 season, we used a show's LIVE program rating or viewership as the base upon which the LIVE+7 day DVR viewing was added. Now, the press seems to be standardizing around using LIVE+SAME DAY DVR viewing as the base for the calculations, so that's what we do now as well.

Wow so Revolution actually outperformed The Voice!
Antm isn’t dead yet. It’s proving to be a decent friday performer and people watch it afterwards too. Plus like other people said, if they want to move something else there, it can always work as a summer show!

Mob Doctor doesn’t look so bad when you add in the L+7. Maybe that’s the reason why FOX hasn’t pulled the plug yet?.
But I hope it remains the same all through the season!
I still dont get how the CW is considered a major broadcasting network when even cable networks get higher ratings than it

Realistically its more an issue of Fox not knowing what to replace the show with if anything.
Do you premiere Touch now, or simply keep Mob Doctor on the air, where it will earn a small amount of ad revenue? Or put something new in to gain more viewers.
So adding .8-.9 is about normal DVR viewing or a new show

Depends on the show/timeslot. Most popular new shows airing later in the day usually get a higher amount of people DVRing. Mostly because people have to work and can’t afford to sit up late watching TV.
No much more NBC can ask for. Revolution is a winner on Mondays, and a winner in all the dvr ratings !!!
Glee was the second-most watched scripted show in the country! Suck it haters.
I guess Glee & Revolution are impressive, but if live ratings stay at current levels they’re renewal locks anyhow.
Glee is one of the best performers this season, live its decreasing , but afterwards you see the increment in the dvr numbers…
i have a question, does DVR numbers matter for renewal? or just the live numbers?
because i’ve read that 90210 its constantly renewed to its dvr numbers, as well as GG and all those CW shows…

Live numbers are important, each network has their own expectation as to how much they want each show to receive. But what actually earns the networks money is the C3 ratings for each show which aren’t made public. And very rarely are they even revealed.
Basically measures the amount of viewers who have watched the adverts up to a period of 3 days(Which includes DVR playback).
Oh and in 95 percent of cases you can tell if a show is doomed without needing to know the C3 numbers. In most cases, if the live numbers suck, the C3 ones usually do too.
What is the difference between L3 and C3? Also WOW at Revolution, a 5.9! If only everyone watched it live! Also The New Normal’s 3.1 and Go On’s 4.5′s look great
