Due to the nature of live  programming the ratings for NBC (NFL Football), & CBS/FOX (NFL Overrun) are approximate and subject to more than the typical adjustments in the final numbers. See below for more information on these Fast Affiliate Ratings.

NBC was number one among adults 18-49  and with total viewers.

On NBC, Sunday Night Football (Chargers/Saints)  from 8:30-11:00PM earned a 6.2 adults 18-49  rating, down from last week's 9.0 18-49 rating

On FOX,The Simpsons Treehouse of Horror special earned a 3.1 adults 18-49 rating, down last week's 3.8 premiere rating. The premiere of The Cleveland Show earned a 2.2, up from last year's premiere, which earned a 1.8 rating. Bob's Burgers scored a 2.3 among adults 18-49, down from last week's 2.6. Family Guy earned a 3.4, up from last week's 3.3 rating. American Dad garnered a 2.6 adults 18-49 rating, also up from last week's 2.5 rating.

Once Upon A Time garnered a 3.3 adults 18-49 rating, down six tenths from last week's 3.9 premiere rating. Most of your predictions were too optimistic.  Revenge earned a 2.6, also down six tenths from last week's 3.2 adults 18-49 rating. 666 Park Avenue scored a 1.7, down half a ratings point from last week's 2.2 rating

On CBS, 60 Minutes earned a 3.8 adults 18-49 rating, up from last week's 1.7 rating, but likely inflated due to the preceding overrun. The Amazing Race was even with last week's 2.5 rating. The Good Wife garnered a 1.7, down a tenth from last week's 1.8 adults 18-49 rating and the lowest fall telecast rating ever for the series. The Mentalist earned a series low 1.6 after last week's 2.1 adults 18-49 rating.

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live baseball game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

    Football’s killing everything.

  • MoHasanie

Big fall for all ABC shows. I was way too optimistic with my predictions.
OUAT fell 6 tenths! That’s not good.
Revenge fell 6 tenths as well! This worries me, since fall ratings are stronger than its spring ratings.
    Bad for 666 Park Avenue.
I enjoyed all shows on ABC last night, even 666 Park Avenue.

TGW is back to bad ratings.

The Simpsons did well. Family Guy however beat it this week. Haven’t watched both shows yet.

  • Michael

It’s too bad about 666 Park Avenue. While, the show is nowhere near the status of American Horror Story, I’m still enjoying it.

  • r0ckmypants

Scandal will be renewed at 2.0 but Revenge will be canceled at 2.6? Idiotic.

  • Daw Johnson

What on earth is this Max character talking about?

If Once Upon a Time was “fantastic” (and, newsflash, it’s not–it declined by ~15%), then “Revenge” certainly isn’t terrible.

Plus, wasn’t its ax-worthy crash reasonably on par with how its lead-in fell this week?

Granted, it depends what Nashville does in the Wednesday slot, but if it steadily delivers mid-to-high 2s, then the move was a win for ABC, because it did a reasonable job of protecting Sundays @ 9PM without erasing the progress it made on Wednesday nights.

  • Overdamoon

OUAT and Revenge have the same number of viewers??

    Hope Revenge get adjusted up.

  • MattM

Bob’s Burgers a bit low, loved last night’s episode. Family Guy’s “Neilsen Family” episode was pretty good too.

  • s0303

yikes at the mentalist…they should have kept csi miami…

  • ivan

Revenge is alot better than scandal and even thogh it has droped it wont drop a lot more maybe 2.3 or 2.2 but scandal is already below 2 so scandal may get a pitty 3rd season that doesnt deserve in ratings Revenge is also getting 3rd season and lets not forget that revenge is renewed for full 2nd season and scandal for only 13E i watch both shows and there both good but i wont miss scandal but i will defenatly miss revenge becouse revenge is better than scandal and i’m sure that i’m not the only one who thinks the same way :P no hard feelings

  • Alan

I think Revenge and OUAT will be adjusted up. 666 Park Avenue is sooo dead.

  • Justin121

    OUCHEs all around.

Once Upon is having a better season

    666 is gooood

  • Nope

CBS made a terrible decision by moving The Mentalist and The Good Wife

  • Nope

    please be adjusted up

  • Petar Ivanov

Revenge can survive at 10 not at 9. BAD MOVE from ABC.

TM is dead. CSI miami was better in that slot.

Once down a lot but still BIG hit.

TGW at least beat TM. I guess one of these two shows will take friday slot next season.

  • Oliver

666 is dead. Strange because it’s in a great timeslot and was heavily promoted.

  • fringewillget5seasons

Can CBS please move TGW to 10 and let TM try and get TAR’s viewers? This is really abysmal.

  • Tom

Max you are irrelevant troll, only you live in a world where scandal does better than revenge.

  • Just

I mean, WHO still cares about Shonda Boring dramas besides Grey’s?

  • Florian

    8,18 for Revenge, not 8,27.
