Due to the nature of live programming the ratings for NBC (NFL Football), & CBS/FOX (NFL Overrun) are approximate and subject to more than the typical adjustments in the final numbers. See below for more information on these Fast Affiliate Ratings.

Revenge earned a 2.6, also down six tenths from last week's 3.2 adults 18-49 rating. 666 Park Avenue scored a 1.7, down half a ratings point from last week's 2.2 rating

The Good Wife garnered a 1.7, down a tenth from last week's 1.8 adults 18-49 rating and the lowest fall telecast rating ever for the series. Nielsen TV Ratings: ©2012 The Nielsen Company. All Rights Reserved.
Definitions:
Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live baseball game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.
Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.
Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)
Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

@AlleyCar
now I know that doesnt count for some unknown reason but ABC isnt pulling the plug on Revenge anytime soon
Actually the reason is very well known and repeatedly stated on this web site. Your decision to ignore the facts doesn’t make it unknown.
Good bye 666 and Terry O’Quinn
Did FOX late games run over and push box FOX broadcasts on the east coast? (I’m in California and had an early game on FOX yesterday (sigh michael vick you suck) so don’t know if their late markets ran over)
@Ryan Yes i know but not on both CBS and NBC. Come on look at these hilarious 60minutes numbers!
And if Nashville does around the same as LR or 666 then it looks like all of ABC’s dramas are low/dead. And looking at the mid-season replacements…they don’t look too promising either. SO maybe abc either cans all of them or expects lower ratings..
The scandal/revenge fight is stupid.I watch both shows and enjoy them.in my humble opinion Scandal is a better show than revenge.scandals storyline is less predictable than revenge..plus scandal is the first drama with a black girl as a lead in over 20 years,so I support it fully.both of them would be renewed.
@ Juptiter.
Revenge is going to increase to a 3.0 before October’s end, and by December it will have a 3.6!
Unlikely
Bad numbers for CBS. I already got used to Good Wife possibly being into its last season as the show has been at risk since S2. So I am quite happy CBS gave it the chance to go on until now.
Mentalist’s movie didn’t work. Its only chance now seems to be renewed one more time and go and die to Friday
The scandal/revenge fight is stupid
Most of the fights over which show is better are stupid…people have different tastes, people have different preferences, and yet people ‘fight’ about shows every day…yes it’s stupid
It’s also stupid to be gleeful when a show you don’t watch / like gets bad ratings
Revenge is probably going to stay in 2.4-2.8 range all season which compared to last season is pretty good!
“Did FOX late games run over and push box FOX broadcasts on the east coast?”
The Simpsons repeat joined in progress. The Cleveland Show started on time.
@rob60990
Thanks for that. Didn’t notice the change in the chart after I originally looked at it. That 2.0 for a simpsons rerun seemed awfully high
666 can still rise next week because it seem like all shows got hit last night. No panic yet if it were the only show that went down then we should panic but that was not the case.
Scandal is the poor version of Revenge.
Revenge will be around for a LONG time honey!

The five stages of ‘my show is not going to get cancelled’ denial
Unless something drastic happens, Revenge will be renewed.
Based upon results thus far for ABC (two weeks in)… MF, Greys, OUAT, and the Middle are sure bets for Renewal. For all the 10PM shows, Castle is the more likely to be renewed due to syndication and proven viewership. Everything else at that spot is either on the bubble or cancellation bear fodder. If Nashville bombs, ABC will be in serious jeopardy.
Episode 2 last season final ratings with 23 minutes of football overrun:
60 Minutes 3.5
The Amazing Race 3.2
The Good Wife 2.2
CSI: Miami 2.4
CSI: Miami must have been REALLY expensive that CBS had no choice but to cancel it.

You mean like this?
If Nashville bombs, ABC will be in serious jeopardy.
What exactly is serious jeopardy?

Sigh – my psychic powers only work on stuff that has already happened
