  • Albert

Christina is performing? ahhhhhhhhhhhh I can’t wait to see this!!

  • EatMorePez

The American Music Awards: The original made-for-TV awards show.

Dick Clark created the AMAs for the sole purpose of having a 3 hour television special on ABC after he saw the success of the Grammy Awards telecast on CBS.

  • RyanCanada

How is Katy perry still being nomination when her album came out over two years ago lol

  • Bern

Same old same old. The same singers nominated just like VMAs. The same will happen with the Grammys.

Hopefully one of these artists wins:
    Calvin Harris
    David Guetta
    Carrie Underwood
    tobymac
    Kelly Clarkson
    Maroon 5
    Shakira

For the rest I don’t care.

These music awards need to bring new artists. I want to see Kat DeLuna, Havana Brown, JLo, Swedish House Mafia, Enrique Iglesias, Ellie Goulding, Karmin, Cher Lloyed, and other artits that really needs to be nominated.

  • Ralph Hahn

I’m nearly 60, so I really don’t give a $-it. I like Maroon 5, so as long as they win something, that’s OK by me.

Nicky Minaj, her plastic face, and her potty mouth full of death threats, should be locked up in the Graybar Hotel, not as a potential winner of an awards show.

This is the award show where the winners know going in the door that they won. If you see the real performers in the audience, chances are, they won something.

    But, as I said, I’m nearing 60, so I don’t give a rat’s a$s.

  • @JoeyDavid

American Music Awards are irelevent, it’s the Grammy’s that matter. If this were a real music awards how, Justin Beiber wouldn’t be nominated.

  • Melissa

I’m so disappointed, there’s so many more artists, and bands that deserve more recognition! I hate the generation I live in like seriously, I’m so sick and tired of the same genre of music being played on the same damn radio station and that same playlist that goes a little like this.
Rihanna – Where Have You Been All My Life
P!Nk – Blow Me One Last Kiss
Justin Bieber – As Long As You Love Me
AND MORE SONGS THAT ARE ON DIFFERENT RADIO STATIONS PLAYING AT THE SAME DAMN TIME. Seriously how many more awards does this freaking Justin Bieber kid have to win?! It’s time for a change for other artists to get nominated or be given an award to. Pitbull Adele that same artist that get nominated every damn year and win every year. I hate this. You know besides The One direction band there is other boy bands. How about Big Time Rush? They’ve been in the media for 4 years and sold millions of albums went gold in Mexico and so much more, and they work super hard had two tours in one year. and took out they’re lastest second album in 2011, and they’re already almost done with they’re 3rd. That’s talent and they deserve to get more recognition. Yet 1D goes on the X-Factor and wins and now for some reason they’re the only thing that’s alll over the media internet, TV. Etc. I seriously hate my generation. Not everything has to be about the same artists. Gosh I hope next year will be way different and give out awards to be people how actually deserve it. Damn you AMA’s.

  • Sandy

    I hope kelly clarkson win.
