It was the program's best deliveries in households, viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 since Jan. 8, 2012.
Sunday’s 60 Minutes broadcast contained a Steve Kroft investigation of Chinese telecom giant Huawei, Lesley’s Stahl’s story about Luxottica, the world’s dominant eyewear company, and a Bob Simon report on the amazing rise from obscurity of Detroit singer-songwriter Rodriguez.
CBS News Chairman Jeff Fager is the executive producer of 60 Minutes.

Have you ever tallied the number of commercials during this program that are for prescription medicine and financial portfolio/stock companies?
Not bad for a “60 Minutes” that lacked any “OOMF.” Would YOU watch that program based on the topics covered?
Somehow, I never could see when Bob Simon would do a segment on a rap singer.
