    @Dan,

    Last time CBS had cancelled comedies with unaired episodes was 2005-2006 with Out Of Practice and Courting Alex.

    How to Be a Gentleman aired all it’s episodes?

  • pll fan

    Wow those are some bad numbers for CW. This is the final season of GG so the terrible numbers don’t really matter but I guess we can all assume this will also be 90210′s final season.

  • Dan

    2 Broke Girls has already been sold into syndication and honestly CBS would be stupid to cancel it. Also Hawaii 5-0 has a syndication deal so its safe too. With numbers going down all around CBS is willing to lower its standards. I don’t think any monday comedy has gone under a 2.0 and if partners is yanked before November or December it would be the first time in more than 10 years a monday comedy didn’t get additional episodes or was axed in the fall.

  • TSC fan

    For the people who said that, maybe 90210 viewers are low because of football…….think again switched at birth KILLED 90210 with 1.556million viewers……that says something. Anyways

  • GARY

    90210 is poison on the cw!!1 poor the carrie diaries
    cw cancel it 90210

  • Rachael

    Castle holding…keep it on ABC…we are finally hitting our stride!! So looking forward to the rest of the season!!

  • joss

    oh no HIMYM :(

  • halloween

    guess that this is last season of the cw, might as well air la complex again :)

    @ Also Partners seems to be the weak spot on Mondays. I’m sure soon CBS will replace it with Rules of Engagement.

    They already hurt 2BG so much.

    @The End who said:
    Doesn’t matter. It’s performing well enough that renewal is certain. Hopefully Season 3 gets a better day.

    BUT from BEST HIT SHOW now is droping every week in fall…come on guys. And again its CBS second mistake in a row. Last year made the same with PoI lead-in – how to be gentlemen.

    Put Partners in 9:30…. h50 is already low 1.9. But give 2BG at least Rules lead-in….. 2.7-2.8 i guess.

    ps I won’t be surprise if this is series low for 2BG. In sping was 3.5 i think with TAHM.

  • Zach

    Ouch at 90210 not only is it down more than 50% from last season. 90210 was the highest rated series to ever premiere on The CW (2.6) to see how far it has fallen is sad.

  • Tony ^_^

    @Petar Ivanov: But no one expected “Partners” to debut that low. Especially since it was airing on Mondays and it was in between “How I Met Your Mother” and “2 Broke Girls”.

    Of course, a high-rated lead-in show doesn’t always equal great ratings.

    And the lowest rating for “2 Broke Girls” was a 3.3 for its Season 1 Finale.

    People actually still look at The CW’s ratings and judge them. Don’t you guys know that GG and 90210 are in their 6th and 5th seasons respectively. That should tell you right there that it had nothing to do with ratings why they’ve survived that long.

    I can see CBS being patient with Partners not sure about Made in Jersey though but I’m surprised CBS is going to let Jersey air this Friday.

    I think Park Avenue 666 is going to be the first one to go.

  • Eddy

    @ Petar Ivanov

    I think CBS is going to keep Partners at least through December and then make a decision from there. They might even switch Mike & Molly with Partners which should happen. Their not going to bring RoE back unless they really need to.

  • Brandy

    I meant I wish 2BGs hadn’t been adjusted down.Its the onl y good show on CBS or good comedy on tv now(raising hope went to bad at end of season one & bbt in season four went bad too).

  • Nick

    Bwahaha @ 90210. What a flop.

  • Chris

    It’s kind of funny that Castle fans will say how important total viewers is–then when Castle drops by nearly 3 million viewers from DWTS, they suddenly just want to talk about demo retention. ;)

  • Dan

    @Holly – Yep, maybe not during the season but over the summer on Saturdays from May 26-June 23 CBS burned off the remaining How to Be a Gentleman episodes. http://tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com/2012/05/03/how-to-be-a-gentleman-returns-saturday-may-26-on-cbs/132305/

    @Petar Ivanov – As always Rules of Engagement is a reliable replacement. Over the years it has replaced several failing comedies and while it probably be axed in May after 7 seasons and 100 episodes I’m sure Rules will pull in much better numbers after HIMYM than Partners, which is already a lost cause.

  • thesnowleopard

    I don’t see why people are freaking out over the numbers for 90210 and Gossip Girl. GG’s been dropping like a stone for at least two seasons (Not that it’s been a ratings hit since the first half of season one) and 90210 was fading even last season. And in other news, the sun rose in the east this morning and water is wet. Two of the network’s worst shows performing badly is hardly any indication of the network’s overall health. I doubt airing them sooner would have done any good, either.

  • Petar Ivanov

    @Tony ^_^
    But no one expected “Partners” to debut that low.

    ME Now they see it – move it.

    @And the lowest rating for “2 Broke Girls” was a 3.3 for its Season 1 Finale.

    ME Now is october. Shows get their best ratings oct&nov. I am not afraid that they will cancel 2 BG. But 2BG ratings are unreal low. Unreal.

    If not rules put there TBBT reruns. Last season TBBT reruns was hiting 3.0 in demo. No joke.

  • Chris

    CBS made a huge mistake altering the Monday line-up. They had a real winner there, and Thursday isn’t really much stronger than it was already. Should have left it exactly as it was.

    That being said, there are problems with the shows themselves–HIMYM is running out of gas, now that it’s in endgame. 2BG desperately needs to dump Jennifer Coolidge from the cast. Mike & Molly should NOT have gotten married in the first season–c’mon! You never ever do that on a show revolving around a romantic relationship. They shouldn’t have gotten ENGAGED for like another two or three seasons.

    Of course, the real fail is Partners. Absolutely unwatchable. When showrunners want to do a show about themselves, RUN AWAY.
