GCB was doing better than this last year…..they should have retooled GCB and launched it again this fall…too bad ABC….
@GCB was doing better than this last year
So what? IT was a dumb show MOVE ON
666 is the best show this season. I don’t get why people rather watch dumb shows then intelligent shows like 666. If you love Revenge which is my other favorite then you should love 666. Give it a chance, it’s really scary with a great cast. Equal to American Horror Story. Please Save 666 Park Avenue. Thanks.
Nice to see Family Guy and American Dad hold at being up from last week; also very impressive for The Cleveland Show at 7:30.. shocked its not renewed yet. Nice to see ABC having a good night. CBS…still a train wreck on Sunday
@KoolRebel, In my opinion it is the title of the show which is keeping viewers away from 666 Park Avenue. The cast is brilliant. I feel alot of people love both Terry O’Quinn and Vanessa Williams. And with all the promotion for the show, there should of been a larger audience watching. It does flow well after Revenge. But most people are going to be skeptical to support anything that deals with the numbers shown in the title.
^ What does having numbers in the title have to do with anything? I think it more has to do with the fact that a lot of folks probably think it’s just a soap opera rather than a supernatural show. It might do better following directly after OUAT because the viewers will already be attuned to that sort of show.
Here’s hoping Netflix can save 666 Park Avenue, lol
Love the show, too bad to see it flopping like that (at least compared to Once and 666). I don’t really see where else it would fit on the ABC schedule that would do it any better, other than if it were swapped with Revenge (but that would just kill the ratings for Revenge so it would be a stupid change).
666 was THE show I was excited about during pilot season. Nothing else appealed to me. And honestly, I think 666 is doing great in terms of plot and story-telling.
And with that adjustment up, my Once Upon a Time viewer prediction of around 10 million viewers, and a 3.4 was spot on. Coolio.
Woo for Once! I was a little worried about what they were going to do story wise now that the curse has been broken, but I think I’m even more excited by this season so far than I was by last season.
I watched 90% of 666 Park’s premiere, and the first few minutes of this week’s episode, but honestly that show just can’t hold my attention. I think I would have prefered it if they’d held off on introducing the bulk of the supernatural elements longer. When it comes to TV shows I generally prefer to learn WITH the characters, not well ahead of them; otherwise, I spend the whole episode glancing at my watch and waiting for them to play catch up.
@joss: no you’re the dumb one. GCB was a great funny show, and had better ratings in SPRING.
CBS should try switching The Mentalist with the good wife. It might help raise the ratings for both shows.
Personally I would like to see Survivor put in that 9pm slot after The Amazing Race. Call it reality sundays. 2 hours of reality show goodness.
Both shows share the same audience anyway.
@Skylar
It was pretty bad stupid plot and awful cast
I’m happy for OUAT!! But really sadden by 666 Park Slope.
Alex if you have to ask how the numbers 666 in the title of “666 Park Avenue” then you’ve never worked with the public. Even people who don’t believe in the Bible will put something back or pick something else up with their total comes to $6.66. That’s the main reason I believe ABC (as well as the people beind “666 Park Avenue”) were foolish to believe people could overcome their fear of that number enough that the show itself would do well.
The only reason I ever hated seeing the number $6.66 come up is because I knew the customer would be weird about it, because they are always weird about it. They mostly act as though the universe itself has cursed them when that number comes up.
Glad to see the OUAT adjust up, I knew it would
Crap you can tell I’ve been working too hard lately because that above post was a bit of a mess – here’s the at least somewhat corrected version:
Alex if you have to ask how the numbers 666 in the title of “666 Park Avenue” could keep people from watching it’s clean you’ve never worked with the public. Even people who don’t believe in the Bible will put something back or pick something else up when their total comes to $6.66. That’s the main reason I believe ABC (as well as the people beind “666 Park Avenue”) were foolish to believe people could overcome their fear of that number to the point the show itself would attract eyeballs.
The only reason I ever hated seeing the number $6.66 come up is because I knew the customer would be weird about it, because they are always weird about it. They mostly act as though the universe itself has cursed them when that number comes up. Just once I’d like to be working with the public and have that number come up and the customer be as *shrug* about it as I am.
666 had higher ratings than The Mentalist only because it started at 10:30PM. Next week, CBS will win at 10/9c.
I enjoyed The Simpsons last night. Much better than last year’s bad Tree House of horror episode. Family Guy was good too.
I shed a tear for TGW ratings.
