Thanks ! I need to buy the meat , but, don’t have a way of fixing it . If I purchased the meat, I know a friend I can talk into doing it for me. Boy, the recipe with garlic sounds wonderful , & , my husband would love the one with crushed red peppers.

The meal worms have departed with the guys. It’ll be pretty nippy if they’re fishing right now. I just checked their weather , 29 degrees.

Probably the big news of the day… unemployment down more than expected , & , American embassy security leader assassinated in Yemen

    ATF Whistleblower Vince Cefalu Fired

Veteran ATF agent Vince Cefalu, a whistleblower who became a particularly controversial figure after voicing concern about the failed Operation Fast and Furious, was “unceremoniously” handed his dismissal papers on Tuesday, according his spokesman.

We had two honorable Libya whistleblowers Eric Nordstrom ,&, Andrew Wood, testifying in a Congressional hearing yesterday. There is the ‘Whistleblower Protection Enhancement Act of 2012’. Let’s hope these men are in no way punished.

The DOE Restructured Its Loan to Tesla

    Surprise !

Imagine that. Weeks to go before the election and the Department of Energy has restructured its $465 million loan to the electric-car company to make sure it didn’t run out of cash.

    Thank You :-)

If it turns out he doesn’t wake or recover at all, My last memory is last Sunday, we came back and drove to the hospital; he had suffered a minor heart attack earlier in the week and as usual didn’t tell anyone till later that week. He gave orders to his wife not to bother us with it  She called us late Saturday anyway.

Anyway, as we were about to leave we were talking about the Avenger’s Movie, and when he started talking about the scene where the Hulk Bashed Thor he started laughing as hard as any human could and stuttered while laughing and he said “Steve? I’m telling you Thor was gone in a millisecond” I then told him I loved him and ask if he needed anything, he said “Nope, Just some rest”

My Brother and I coached together, ran together, played football in High School together, Basketball together, Fished, Hunted and until we got older and the kids started growing did everything together. He’s only 2 ½ years older than I am. He was a sharp Shooter as well, many awards. Pistol and Rifle. But pssst.. He was always mad at me because I’m a better shot :-)

After 6 Months in Vietnam he got shot (Not Major) and got to spend some time in Japan where they sent him at while he was recovering, while In Japan the Vietnam War came to a close. My Other Older Brother did not make it back from Nam. I will always be grateful to God; I at least had one older Brother to grow up with.

Well I’m heading up back there, so you guys have a great day, and again, from my heart, thank ALL of you for your thoughts, and Boss Dude? You hang in their as well.

    Peace and Grace to all

    Hi Jeff,

I heard that last night . Scott DesJarlais is a doctor & I worked to help elect this scumbag. He beat a four term Democrat by a big margin because of Obamacare. With redistricting, he is no longer my Rep. I hope he is defeated…. peroid.

    Note: This is in DC.

Businesses Now Being Forced To Buy Health Insurance Only Through Obamacare Exchanges

“Washington D.C. small businesses are now required to buy health insurance plans through the government, despite complaints that it violates President Barack Obama’s promise that Americans can “keep our health care insurance if we like it” under the Affordable Care Act.

Last Wednesday, The D.C. Health Benefit Exchange Authority (HBX) unanimously voted to require all businesses in the district with 50 members or less to purchase employee health insurance plans through the exchange, despite backlash from local businesses.”

Remember, this is coming after President Obama promised that they’d be able to keep their existing health insurance under Obamacare.

    A slow creep in progress.

I just heard the unemployment report is not complete. One large state is missing .

After watching the hearings, one can easily assess that the Ambassador was left at the mercy of the elements, he had no chance what so ever other than fleeing the country the day before. How arrogant for this President to throw his own people under the bus just so he can have 4 more years of Air Force One.This guy makes Richard Nixon look like the Pope,America has so got it wrong electing an imposter, how infuriating watching State Dept. workers numbed by this tragedy taking one for the team yet despite it all you see totally clueless people suck up to this guy and sell their souls, pay $47,000 dinner plates, asks what his favorite color is,and claims if elected again,he can turn water into wine..”may not happen right away..huh..but..slowly..huh.we’ll get there..oh and Bin Laden is dead..thank you

Obama in April 2008:”I always believed in the sanctity of marriage between a man and a woman, you can say I’m a little traditionalist and quite old fashion when it comes to these things, though I have a lot of gay friends,I always valued a Man,Woman exclusively in Holy Matrimony” Obama in November 2011:”I have decided to support gay marriage ,I had a change of heart recently..”

QUESTION; Why is it that when ever a leftie is asked about something Obama did or didnt do their answers are always about Bush or Reagan or FDR or Big Bird??? It has been done numerous times here tonight!! the Obama puppets (Alxerod, gibbs, etc.)do the same thing.

How about answering the question?? Why did Obama lie about Libyia? Why did he allow Hillary to lie about Libyia?? Why did he have or let his Ambassador go on 5 Sunday programs and lie on every one of them? Why was the security so lacking? Can one of you leftie loons answer these questions or at least some of them with out the name Bush or Reagan or Cheney mentioned?

It is called taking responsability for the present!! Many on the right did on election day 2008 when they cast their vote for Obama!!!!

Data Massaging Continues: Initial Claims Tumble To 339K Lowest Since 2008, Far Below Lowest Expectation

Submitted by Tyler Durden on 10/11/2012 – 08:42 BLS Bureau of Labor Statistics New Normal Steve Liesman Trade Deficit Unemployment
This is just getting stupid. After expectations of a rebound in initial claims from 367K last week (naturally revised higher to 369K), to 370K (with the lowest of all sellside expectations at 355K), the past week mysteriously, yet so very unsurprisingly in the aftermath of the fudged BLS unemployment number, saw claims tumble to a number that is so ridiculous not even CNBC’s Steve Liesman bothered defending it, or 339K. Ironically, not even the Labor Department is defending it: it said that “one large state didn’t report some quarterly figures.” Great, but what was reported was a headline grabbing number that is just stunning for reelection purposes. This was the lowest number since 2008. The only point to have this print? For 2-3 bulletin talking points at the Vice Presidential debate tonight. Everything else is now noise. It is also sad that the US “economy” has devolved to such trivial data fudging on a week by week basis, which makes even the Chinese Department of Truth appear amateurish by comparison. Needless to say, Not Seasonally Adjusted initial claims jumped by 26K to 327K in the past week but who’s counting. Finally, what is the reason for ongoing QEternity if the employment situation is now back to normal. Finally, in completely ignored news, because who needs global trade when you have toner cartridge, and generally ink, the US trade deficit in August rose by 4.1% to $44.2 billion, on expectations of a deterioration to $44.0 billion. Then again nobody talks about the US trade deficit during presidential debates so all good here.

No, no. This is excellent news. I would like to see the unemployment rate fall day by day before the elections to at least 6% (or whatever rate Obama set as litmus test for his being a 1-term president).

State Department Cut Libya Security While Vienna Embassy Gained $108K Worth Of Chevy Volts And Charging Equipment…

In a May 3, 2012, email, the State Department denied a request by a group of Special Forces assigned to protect the U.S. embassy in Libya to continue their use of a DC- 3 airplane for security operations throughout the country.

Four days later, on May 7, the State Department authorized the U.S. embassy in Vienna to purchase a $108,000 electric vehicle charging station for the embassy motor pool’s new Chevrolet Volts. The purchase was a part of the State Department’s “Energy Efficiency Sweep of Europe” initiative, which included hundreds of thousands of taxpayer dollars on green program expenditures at various U.S. Embassies.

GAI Responds to Obama ‘Fact Check’ of Fraudulent Donations Report

The Government Accountability Institute (GAI) on Wednesday called out the Obama campaign for refusing to address the ownership of the Obama.com domain by a campaign bundler who lives and has business interests in China. GAI also alleged that the Obama campaign has not fully addressed its weak online security measures to prevent fraudulent or foreign campaign donations.

The former top GE executive says he will no longer write for Fortune following coverage of his jobs conspiracy tweet.

    Jack Welch
FORTUNE — Jack Welch has left our building, metaphorically that is.
Welch said he will no longer contribute to Fortune following critical coverage of the former CEO of General Electric, saying he would get better “traction” elsewhere. On Friday, Welch suggested that the Obama administration, calling them “these Chicago guys,” had manipulated the monthly jobs report in order to make the economy look better than it actually is just weeks before the election. Welch has been battered by criticism since making the suggestion on Twitter.
Monday morning on MSNBC’s Morning Joe, Fortune managing editor Andy Serwer said there were a number of things wrong with Welch’s tweet, the biggest of which was that the economy doesn’t back up the former executive’s claim that the numbers were faked.
“I think it’s exactly the opposite of what Jack Welch is saying,” Serwer said. “Things are actually improving.”
CNNMoney, which shares content with Fortune.com, ran a story on Friday covering Welch’s tweet. The piece said that even conservative economists thought Welch was wrong to question the jobs numbers. On Tuesday, Fortune.com ran a story detailing Welch’s record as a job destroyer. GE lost nearly 100,000 jobs during the 20 years in which Welch ran the company. “I never put myself out there as an employment agency,” Welch told Fortune.

  • Jeff

    Glass houses!!

FORTUNE — Jack Welch, the former CEO of General Electric, has attacked the notion that President Obama and his policies are creating jobs. On Friday, Welch in a message sent through Twitter accused the administration, referring to it as “these Chicago guys,” of changing the number in the monthly jobs report, which showed that the unemployment rate had fallen to the lowest level since Obama took office. In the past, Welch has said that Mitt Romney’s business experience makes him more qualified to able to create jobs from the Oval office than Obama.
“Romney oughta’ wipe [the election] out,” Welch told CNN’s Piers Morgan in May. “When you look at [Romney’s] qualifications, compare it to someone who was handing out leaflets as a community organizer.”
Welch, like Romney, has had a storied business career. Nonetheless, when it comes to job creation, Obama’s record appears to far better than the GE executive, who spent two decades on top of the one of the world’s largest companies.
MORE: Among financial professionals, Romney trounces Obama
GE lost nearly 100,000 jobs while Welch was at the helm of the company — a tenure that spanned two of the most robust periods of economic growth in American business history. Welch, who along with his wife Suzy has written articles for FORTUNE, took over as CEO of GE in 1981. At the time, the industrial giant had 411,000 employees. When Welch left the company 20 years later, it had just 313,000 employees.
