The fourth season of the Emmy Award-winning reality series UNDERCOVER BOSS will premiere Friday, Nov. 2 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) as Mitchell B. Modell, CEO of Modell’s Sporting Goods, ventures to the frontlines of his popular sporting goods and athletic apparel store for an unfiltered look into the inner workings of his corporation.

Companies whose bosses have signed up for undercover missions this season include:

  • Modell’s Sporting Goods (Mitchell B. Modell, CEO): As America’s oldest family-owned-and-operated retailer of sporting goods, athletic footwear, active apparel and fan gear, this chain has spanned four generations and expanded to more than 150 store locations throughout the Northeast.
  • Tilted Kilt (Ron Lynch, President):  Founded in 2003, Tilted Kilt is one of the fastest growing restaurant franchises in the nation with 65 restaurants across the U.S. The Celtic-themed sports pub and restaurant features servers wearing sexy tartan outfits.
  • Cinnabon INC. (Kat Cole, President): Cinnabon Inc., now synonymous with the cinnamon roll, is the most recognized sticky, gooey, sweet treat in America. These popular cinnamon rolls can be found in more than 770 franchised baked goods outlets.

The air schedule for the new season of UNDERCOVER BOSS is as follows:

  • Friday, Nov. 2: Modell’s Sporting Goods (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT)
  • Friday, Nov. 9: Tilted Kilt (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT)
  • Friday, Nov. 16: Cinnabon INC. (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT)

Additional companies and airdates will be announced at a later date.

With the return of UNDERCOVER BOSS on Nov. 2, CSI: NY will move to the 9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT time period beginning this Friday, Oct. 12. MADE IN JERSEY has been pulled from the schedule.

UNDERCOVER BOSS earned an Emmy Award for Outstanding Reality Program in 2012.  Each week, the series follows a different executive as they leave the comfort of their corner office for an undercover mission to examine the inner workings of their companies.  While working alongside their employees, they see the effects their decisions have on others, where the problems lie within their organizations and get an up-close look at both the good and the bad while discovering and rewarding the unsung heroes who make their companies run.

UNDERCOVER BOSS is produced by Studio Lambert, Ltd.  Stephen Lambert, Eli Holzman and Chris Carlson are executive producers.

    Wow not surprised at all.

  • dantas

Hey, Fox! NOW you can stop playing “Chicken” and cancel The Mob Doctor ;)

  • Jeff (Canada)

Geez my Fridays are going to be insanely packed.

    Shark Tank
    Undercover Boss

  • The End

Ladies and gentlemen, and all things inbetween. I do believe this show is pretty much cancelled.

  • John A

So does this mean production on the show has stopped?

  • Eridapo

    @ dantas

  • Jeff (Canada)

^Forgot to add that I’m actually glad they pulled Community from Fridays. Put it on a less-packed night, please!

  • F.R.

So will Fox cancel The Mob Doctor now? if the article about them wanting to avoid bad PR of being the first to cancel the show – they succeeded. Would be funny if it’ll be canceled today.

  • Neil

  • The End

    @John A

Production of this show is likely pretty much finished. Most shows have a good number of episodes filmed before going to air.

7-8 would be a good guess, with a few more likely filmed already. Wouldn’t surprise me if at the very least are on episode 11-12 of 13. Or as said done.

  • Greg

Oh, I wished we could have seen Made in Jersey reaching CW levels (as we saw for the past few days, a 0.8 is not CW levels anymore).

  • Hubert R.

And what about partners? I think CBS should air one new episode of TBBT on monday (like it did with the Mentalist on friday last year) just to see what happens. Would the Voice kill it aswell?

  • Riff Rafferty

That’s it. I’m getting my rifle. Damn bear, now you’re gonna taste lead.

  • Oliver

  • Jon23812

In a few hours later, Mob Doctor gets cancelled.

  • Oliver

    @Hubert R

I suspect CBS are concerned MNF would hurt TBBT. I don’t see them moving it.

  • DW

    i guess it didn’t do well in L+7. :)

  • Sid

About tine, now if FOX can pull The Mob and CBS can pull Partners and the TV world will be in a better place. ;)

Finally CBS makes the right decision. That was one of the worst shows I have seen in years. Made in Jersey was like My Cousin Vinny did bad and the actress was horrible. Does CBS need a new prexy of primetime? Nina Tassler should be axed for this awful fall allowing aging series with some really god awful shows ala MIJ and Partners.

  • riley

well, that’s too bad. Janet Montgomery was great in the role of the lawyer from New Jersey. and the people in her family (especially her mom) were really sweet. but that’s just my opinion. I didn’t think it was such a bad program. in fact I kind of enjoyed it.
