The fourth season of the Emmy Award-winning reality series Undercover Boss will premiere Friday, Nov. 2 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) as Mitchell B. Modell, CEO of Modell’s Sporting Goods, ventures to the frontlines of his popular sporting goods and athletic apparel store for an unfiltered look into the inner workings of his corporation.

Companies whose bosses have signed up for undercover missions this season include:

  • Modell’s Sporting Goods (Mitchell B. Modell, CEO): As America’s oldest family-owned-and-operated retailer of sporting goods, athletic footwear, active apparel and fan gear, this chain has spanned four generations and expanded to more than 150 store locations throughout the Northeast.
  • Tilted Kilt (Ron Lynch, President):  Founded in 2003, Tilted Kilt is one of the fastest growing restaurant franchises in the nation with 65 restaurants across the U.S. The Celtic-themed sports pub and restaurant features servers wearing sexy tartan outfits.
  • Cinnabon INC. (Kat Cole, President): Cinnabon Inc., now synonymous with the cinnamon roll, is the most recognized sticky, gooey, sweet treat in America. These popular cinnamon rolls can be found in more than 770 franchised baked goods outlets.

The air schedule for the new season of Undercover Boss is as follows:

  • Friday, Nov. 2: Modell’s Sporting Goods (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT)
  • Friday, Nov. 9: Tilted Kilt (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT)
  • Friday, Nov. 16: Cinnabon INC. (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT)

Additional companies and airdates will be announced at a later date.

With the return of Undercover Boss on Nov. 2, CSI: NY will move to the 9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT time period beginning this Friday, Oct. 12. Made In Jersey has been pulled from the schedule.

Undercover Boss earned an Emmy Award for Outstanding Reality Program in 2012.  Each week, the series follows a different executive as they leave the comfort of their corner office for an undercover mission to examine the inner workings of their companies.  While working alongside their employees, they see the effects their decisions have on others, where the problems lie within their organizations and get an up-close look at both the good and the bad while discovering and rewarding the unsung heroes who make their companies run.

UNDERCOVER BOSS is produced by Studio Lambert, Ltd.  Stephen Lambert, Eli Holzman and Chris Carlson are executive producers.

About time, it couldn’t have happened to a worse show, but TMD should have been 1st. Partners should join MIJ ASAP.

  • Percysowner

And now that Fox has dodged the bullet of being the first network to cancel a show this season, will Mob Doctor be far behind? And will Partners join the list?

  • Elena

I’m not sure I got it, but… does this mean that the show is canceled? Why just pull it from CBS Schedule instead of canceling it?

  • k:Alex

Cancellation Bear was at the wrong adress, not NBC but CBS.

  • Agnes

    CBS blinks first!

  • madbengalsfan85

Great, now FOX can kill Mob Doctor

  • Elena

Sorry, I refreshed the page and now it says it is cancelled.

  • danny94

OH MY GOD!!! I didnt Expect This!!! ( Sarcasm )

  • Max Vrany

CBS blinks. FOX wins the staring contest. Interesting that CBS PR uses the phrase “pulled from schedule”. That doesn’t sound like something CBS PR would say.

  • Shabbir

Its cancelled as its pulled from the schedule. There will be afew episodes not aired.. and they will either post online or burn off in the summer. Sadly for MIJ, its all over.

I saw the pilot and it was Meh. Seen it before and nothing special about it.

  • chezmoi

MIJ – Suits with a different name…A shame but having never seen it. Clearly only certain Brits can make Americanss watch. How many shows with British Lead actors have failed – the only other one I can think of: Bionic Woman (remake) but there has been a few others surely – or did they all go several seasons like Life, Eleventh Hour (US) etc

  • The End

    @Elena

Ironically it was cancelled before this article went up. Quite a few places are reporting on it now, that’s the only problem when news slowly filters out about shows people don’t care about.

Though most people had it down correctly when it was announced it was pulled lol.

  • LaLa

By no means was Made in Jersey a great show..but I wouldn’t say it was so bad that it made it unwatchable. I think it would have been a better fit for the CW. The premise seems like something that would have worked and succeed on that network.

  • Ethan

Shame…I enjoyed it…this year could be a blood bath for CBS…all of its shows r pretty much down…wouldn’t surprise if they cancel a lot more shows than usual…partners, mentalist, good wife, csy ny, h50, Vegas, all seem like potential casualties…wouldn’t be surprised if at least 3-4 of these get cancelled

  • Jared

Now that CBS cancelled Made in Jersey I’m curious to know if FOXs The Mob Doctor will still air its new episode in November as advertised.

  • Wendy

Nom nom nom says the gorging Cancellation Bear!

  • Raykov

The Cancellation Bear could stay in New York and eat Partners.

  • Double R

Damn! Didn’t win me my pool… damn you FOX & Mob Doctor!

  • lll

The cancellation bear has his first meal of the season.

  • madbengalsfan85

@Raykov Nope, Cancellation Bear has a dinner date with The Mob Doctor first
