The fourth season of the Emmy Award-winning reality series Undercover Boss will premiere Friday, Nov. 2 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) as Mitchell B. Companies whose bosses have signed up for undercover missions this season include:

  • Modell’s Sporting Goods (Mitchell B. Modell, CEO): As America’s oldest family-owned-and-operated retailer of sporting goods, athletic footwear, active apparel and fan gear, this chain has spanned four generations and expanded to more than 150 store locations throughout the Northeast.

UNDERCOVER BOSS earned an Emmy Award for Outstanding Reality Program in 2012.  Each week, the series follows a different executive as they leave the comfort of their corner office for an undercover mission to examine the inner workings of their companies.  While working alongside their employees, they see the effects their decisions have on others, where the problems lie within their organizations and get an up-close look at both the good and the bad while discovering and rewarding the unsung heroes who make their companies run.

UNDERCOVER BOSS is produced by Studio Lambert, Ltd.  Stephen Lambert, Eli Holzman and Chris Carlson are executive producers.

The Mob Doctor will the Cancellation Bear’s next meal!

  • eridapo

It didn’t take long for the cancellation bear to take his first meal. I’m sure as I write this the bear is moving down to Fox for his next meal, or he might stick around a little longer around CBS and see if another morsel is thrown his way soon.

  • GARY

I hope Stephanie March has kept on good terms with Dick Wolf
so she can get back to playing Alexandra Cabot on SVU.

  • were123

Maybe FOX will cancel Mob Doctor now

  • Honey Badger

The Cancellation Bear has sprung into action at last.

The question is how many shows will be canceled quickly, and what shows will be cancelled ?

  • BigBrotherFan

    @GARY

I second that. I kind of enjoyed this series for what it was worth but not having March in the second epiosde made it even more weak.

Guess its back to Nikita as my friday show to watch while getting ready to go out. This show wasn’t half bad. I could understand it while getting ready and not miss much. Oh, well. Saw it coming.

  • Bob

CBS showing leadership once again. In seriousness, I thought they might have treated this show like The Gifted Man and leave it for awhile. I did see the first episode and was underwelmed to say the least. Feel bad for the actors and other workers though….on the unemployment line. Good thing those unemployment numbers were fudged so that it can go back up to 8 percent by election day.

  • AppleStinx

Give it a rest. ‘The Mob Doctor’ won’t be canceled before Nov 6th.

@HoneyBadger, almost certainly Mob Doctor, Partners, Animal Practice, Up All Night will go next. Only the order is unknown.

  • Petar Ivanov

    Now Partners turn please…………

  • BigBrotherFan

I’m hoping Animal Practice NEXT-That show is HORRIBLE!

  • ron

    well that`s not news!

  • Dan

My prediction was right. CBS moves CSI NY back to 9 so Undercover Boss can take over 8 and then likely Golden Boy. Fox won the game of chicken, and they are now free to cancel The Mob Doctor.

  • Tessa

I just watched the trailer and good God, they think any pretty woman with attitude can get them an audience. What’s the point of watching someone ‘making it’ just like that by acting obnoxious because they live in a world that looks like Disney made it? If you did half the things she did in that one trailer in real world you’d be voted off the island so fast your head would spin. Reminds of that Mariah Carey movie, what was its name? “Glitter?”

  • Max

cbs needs to do something about Partner sooner than later.

  • carigis

although I love skinny chicks.. the lead on this show was too skinny from the waist down.. uncomfortable to watch even.. make look good in jeans but definatly not in a dress. that enough warrents cancellation.

  • Dan

@Bill – I can probably tell you the order. NBC will likely pull Animal Practice after tonights airing so Community and Whitney can return, Mob Doctor will likely be cancelled on November 6. Id say CBS doesnt want 2 cancellations in the fall so they may let Partners ride out like A Gifted Man.

  • Dan

I knew CBS would return to form. A 0.8 is terrible. Bill mentioned Up All Night but since that series is in its second season I think NBC may let that one air all its episodes.

  • NJLeeLee

I thought it was lousy from the first few minutes. The actress they chose as the lead was the wrong pick and you could never believe her as an attorney. A My Cousin Vinny remix could have been funny and entertaining, but they got everything wrong. Even the murder mysteries were lame. My nephew’s young son had a role as one of the kids but I only saw the back of his head on last weeks episode. Oh well.

  • Dan

With Vegas and Elementary getting full seasons, and Undercover Boss likely having 13-18 episodes, its possible that Golden Boy may premiere earlier, around March. Maybe that series will have a chance unlike Miami Medical, CHAOS, and NYC 22.
