The fourth season of the Emmy Award-winning reality series UNDERCOVER BOSS will premiere Friday, Nov. 2 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) as Mitchell B. Modell, CEO of Modell’s Sporting Goods, ventures to the frontlines of his popular sporting goods and athletic apparel store for an unfiltered look into the inner workings of his corporation.

Companies whose bosses have signed up for undercover missions this season include:

  • Modell’s Sporting Goods (Mitchell B. Modell, CEO): As America’s oldest family-owned-and-operated retailer of sporting goods, athletic footwear, active apparel and fan gear, this chain has spanned four generations and expanded to more than 150 store locations throughout the Northeast.
  • Tilted Kilt (Ron Lynch, President):  Founded in 2003, Tilted Kilt is one of the fastest growing restaurant franchises in the nation with 65 restaurants across the U.S. The Celtic-themed sports pub and restaurant features servers wearing sexy tartan outfits.
  • Cinnabon INC. (Kat Cole, President): Cinnabon Inc., now synonymous with the cinnamon roll, is the most recognized sticky, gooey, sweet treat in America. These popular cinnamon rolls can be found in more than 770 franchised baked goods outlets.

The air schedule for the new season of UNDERCOVER BOSS is as follows:

  • Friday, Nov. 2: Modell’s Sporting Goods (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT)
  • Friday, Nov. 9: Tilted Kilt (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT)
  • Friday, Nov. 16: Cinnabon INC. (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT)

Additional companies and airdates will be announced at a later date.

With the return of UNDERCOVER BOSS on Nov. 2, CSI: NY will move to the 9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT time period beginning this Friday, Oct. 12. MADE IN JERSEY has been pulled from the schedule.

UNDERCOVER BOSS earned an Emmy Award for Outstanding Reality Program in 2012.  Each week, the series follows a different executive as they leave the comfort of their corner office for an undercover mission to examine the inner workings of their companies.  While working alongside their employees, they see the effects their decisions have on others, where the problems lie within their organizations and get an up-close look at both the good and the bad while discovering and rewarding the unsung heroes who make their companies run.

UNDERCOVER BOSS is produced by Studio Lambert, Ltd.  Stephen Lambert, Eli Holzman and Chris Carlson are executive producers.

They’re going to re-tool, bring Janet Montgomery back with her natural accent, and change her backstory so she’s from the island of Jersey.

  • Mike

Guess they were not able to get TNT to buy this one LOL

  • craigcuk

    That’s funny…a Jen Bergerac perchance?

  • Richard Steven Hack

Janet Montgomery was mostly useless in Human Target, and now as a lead. She’s a hot babe, but I don’t think she’s ready to be a lead. Probably should get a couple more recurring character roles on other series before she tries that again.

  • craigcuk

In fairness Montgomery is a fairly decent actress, but this was a horrible role and she was obviously asked to play it in a cliched way. Hopefully she can bounce back and do more stuff like Ames from Human Target where she seemed much more comfortable and substantially hotter.

is there gonna be any new episodes of the show on saturday maybe or this 2 episodes are all were gonna see

I can see this “lost” opening scene on an upcoming “CSI:NY”…

[The CSI team finds a dead body in the street.]
Jo: It feels good to have our old beat back. Something about the early shift just didn’t seem right.
Mac: Who have we got, Flack?
Flack: The vic is IDed as Martina Garetti, New Jersey address, was just hired by a prestigeous law firm here in Manhattan.
Mac: Missing flesh, scratches all over the vic’s body…
Lindsay: I used to see this all the time in Montana. It looks like she was eaten by a bear.
Mac: I guess we’re not needed here. Flack, tell Homocide this investigation has been cancelled.

Damn you Fox! I had The Mob Doctor in the poll. MIJ deserved the cancellation, but TMD deserves it more!

Janet Montgomery wasn’t that bad, not great, but not bad. I think the writing was just pretty predictable. Or it was like where they had that younger girl hear the mosquito tone on the cell phone and traced it back to Le Chat…what the heck?

I can see CBS ordering for 2 more episodes but if they don’t my guess is they just want to make room for new shows. If CSI: NY does good this season, I can see CBS ordering for 1 additional and open next season with the 200th episode. If NY does so-so maybe 2 more episodes to end the series with episode 200.

this show didn’t even look worth sampling

And CBS is the first to cancel (YAY)–go CBS!

  • Dan

Its possible at this point CSI NY returining for a tenth and final season to tie with CSI Miami by having 10 seasons but Is till think in May it will be axed.

Didn’t Partners have a 1.9 in the demo this past week? Seems like it’s bleeding to me.

Now that Cancellation Bear has been turned loose with the first cancellation of the season, and many more cancellations coming soon. I hope you are ready for the blame and insults coming your way.

I remember last seasons when producers and Emmy and Oscar winner attacking you for the cancellation of Harrys Law. And the last couple of seasons you received the blame for a lot of shows being canceled by a lot of people involved with the television shows that were canceled. And these were high level people and stars. And they were not very nice in insulting you.

I guess according to these people the Cancellation Bear has magical and super powers. But I fear with the high amount of blame and insults coming, the Cancellation Bear may get its feelings hurt. I becoming to feel very sorry for the Cancellation Bear, it has a lot of work to do, does a great job, and gets blamed and insulted.

If CBS is that quick on the cancelation button so early in the season, perhaps they will need to get started production of “Unforgettable” before a summer airdate. You know…the show that all of you were convinced it would be canceled last May, but CBS had a change of heart for later in this season? How is the crow tasting?

    How about this:

They launch an investigation about who let a bear loose in NY to kill this woman. Suspects include a bald guy who owns The Drake hotel on Park Avenue, a pair of Vegas mobsters, one Captain Marcus Chaplin of the USS Colorado, a family called the Weavers & their suspicious looking neighbors, brother & sister duo Ben & Kate Fox, and one very cute monkey. But the real culprit is one Dr. Grace Devlin, a shady surgeon with ties to the local mob!

I win with picking MIJ as the 1st fall cancellation. I’m guessing AP is next & ABC can feel free to yank 666 from the lineup. Their guilty of the show putting me to sleep, what a snoozefest. Another ABC cancellation should be the Neigbors which could get pulled after tonight.

  • Michael

This is Kristoffer Polaha, third show that got canceled.

    – Life Unexpected
    – Ringer

    – Made In Jersey

  • brutony

I predicted an early exit for this bomb-this insult to my fellow Jerseyites everywhere, esp to the girls! Im a Jersey guy, FYI! I did think that The Mob Doctor would have gotten whacked first-no pun intended-because its on FOX, and theyre notorious for early exits, esp that MLB playoffs will be on the next few Mondays. I thought this would have been given a few more, but CBS knows a stinker when no one sees one,,so, ciao, paisana!

Made in Jersey-where was this filmed, BTW, Toronto?
