The fourth season of the Emmy Award-winning reality series Undercover Boss will premiere Friday, Nov. 2 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) as Mitchell B. Modell, CEO of Modell’s Sporting Goods, ventures to the frontlines of his popular sporting goods and athletic apparel store for an unfiltered look into the inner workings of his corporation.

Companies whose bosses have signed up for undercover missions this season include:

  • Modell’s Sporting Goods (Mitchell B. Modell, CEO): As America’s oldest family-owned-and-operated retailer of sporting goods, athletic footwear, active apparel and fan gear, this chain has spanned four generations and expanded to more than 150 store locations throughout the Northeast.
  • Tilted Kilt (Ron Lynch, President):  Founded in 2003, Tilted Kilt is one of the fastest growing restaurant franchises in the nation with 65 restaurants across the U.S. The Celtic-themed sports pub and restaurant features servers wearing sexy tartan outfits.

With the return of Undercover Boss on Nov. 2, CSI: NY will move to the 9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT time period beginning this Friday, Oct. 12. Made In Jersey has been pulled from the schedule.

Undercover Boss earned an Emmy Award for Outstanding Reality Program in 2012.  Each week, the series follows a different executive as they leave the comfort of their corner office for an undercover mission to examine the inner workings of their companies.  While working alongside their employees, they see the effects their decisions have on others, where the problems lie within their organizations and get an up-close look at both the good and the bad while discovering and rewarding the unsung heroes who make their companies run.

UNDERCOVER BOSS is produced by Studio Lambert, Ltd.  Stephen Lambert, Eli Holzman and Chris Carlson are executive producers.

While I’m not even slightly surprised by the cancellation, I’m sorry that such an awful show had to be the first mainstream appearance of Janet Montgomery. I like her as an actress; hopefully she finds a better project to work on.

[the more rookie dramas cbs cancels, the more likely it is that i’ll get more good wife. cancel away, cbs!]

    That’s the spirit!

  • jessica

Damn, i bought a season pass on iTunes for Made In Jersey. Considering ep 1 is free that means i paid $10 for ep 2. Think they’ll give me any sort of refund? It needed to go 5 eps for the season pass to not be more expensive than buying the eps individually.

According to CBS, “Cinnabon…is the most recognized sticky, gooey, sweet treat in America.”

I thought that was Justin Bieber. Was I wrong?

  • Marie

Anytime a show gets canceled I feel really bad for the actors & the whole crew. They work really hard to put a good production on. No one should say that it wasn’t a good show because you don’t know what it took to make the show. I wish everyone all the best!

CBS should burn the remaining episodes off on Saturdays or give the CW something to air when Top Model goes on hiatus.

  • Anna

    i’m not surprised…
BUT PARTNERS IS FUNNY! what’s your problem people?!Michael Urie is hilarious and the dialogues are good!
and about mob doctor: it needs to go.

  • chuck

Since May I have seen nothing but countless previews of “Made in Jersey’ and all that and in only gets one or two airings?

  • PJ

Seriously? Funny, a pretty good family show and by far more believable than the “Mob Doctor”, which I was watching until the last episode and said – okay, getting old . . .

Anyway, just like Harry’s Law – a decent family show, some action, some drama, some laughs – wherein the sow might air on the side of morality and compassion and stuff . . .

Don’t get me wrong, my tv genre’ is far and wide but in it I like some lighter drama. I guess if someone isn’t cheating, if there isn’t a gay relationship, no vilence, etc. (and I fully support gay life choices), the lighter family stuff just doesn’t cut it outside of some reality series?

My teens and I used to watch “Pushing Daisies” – clever as ever, good cast, cancelled.
Even the GCB cracked me up . . . ( I realize I’m stretching my networks)

Huhk, that’ll do it, just Huh.

    Typical . . .

  • Hello

I knew Made in Jersey was going to get cancelled first. Like CBS really needs another legal drama when there’s already The Good Wife. What were they thinking?
