Definitions:
Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.
Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.
Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)
Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

What is happening to the CW, how can a show fall so much, why is nobody watching? It always has bad ratings but this is ridiculous, there’s only so long a channel can last with those kind of ratings.
@John_M
To me it’s outdated in need a upgrade because it’s killing shows.
Really enjoying The Voice this season.
Wow the voice is a monster. Dominated the night.
The Voice is unstoppable this is fantastic numbers as IMO the STEAL was the most brilliant game changing move. It took the most boring round and made it super exciting. The talent also this season is fantastic. The Voice is unstoppable.
IMO DWTS is dumb to move the results show to 8pm as people will tune out less for it. DWTS results thats solid for the show. I am loving this season but I hate Bristol staying on. I know she was brought for ratings but god damn shes such a little snot.
Vegas is staying steady right now. I am sure CBS will be renewing it very shortly. I am really enjoying the show. Its a very good show.
Hart of Dixie is a great show and is finally coming into its own and becoming really good. At this point however, I am not worried for the show, but I am worried for the network. If the network survives, Hart of Dixie might very well survive with it, but if the CW continues to drop, I do not know how it will sustain itself and produce anything.
Wednesdays (Arrow, Supernatural) and Thursdays (The Vampire Diaries, Beauty and the Beast) will save the CW. I expect even their friday line-up with Nikita and ANTP will do better than monday and tuesday.
GO On, is only a hit due to its lead in, if you swap places with TNN and GO ON, then the ratings would be opposite
Id bet money you’re wrong. Subject matter of The New Normal (cause it’s not the nashville network) would turn more people away then Go On. There’s too much on that show for ‘closet bigots’ to turn off
parenthood was really good last night. i hope it goes on for years to come. an underrated show to say the least. if it stays on this level it should. plus nbc owns it apparently. just found that out.but thats good.
LOL, Dr. Horrible was the only thing I watched last night!
I really hope Arrow and Beauty turn out to be hits for The CW.
90210 and Gossip Girl are showing age but after such a solid start, wtf happened to Dixie?
I’m soooooooo glad this is christina’s last season on the voice.
When Did Nick Jonas and Marc Anthony become ‘superstars’? The best thing marc anthony ever did was co-star in big night – and he didn’t talk
Go On is a fake, we saw its real numbers last week.
New Normal needs to go.
Why were those FOX comedies picked up for full seasons with those embarrassing numbers.
It will be interesting to see how Tuesdays shape up after ABC’s comedies launch next week.
How can anyone say that Go On is a hit? Look how much it drops from the Voice? I don’t understand the analysis.
Vegas is so going to die. A 2.0 is terrible for CBS.
Ouch at Hart of Dixie. I’m wondering how well Arrow and Supernatural will do tonight. Probably not better than a 1.0. Good for Mindy. If it stays in that range I think it will be good. It deserved its renewal because of 18-34 which I imagine is even more impressive because it is obviously skewing very young. And yay parenthood. Same rating as Vegas with a higher share. Just a matter of time before its the number one show on at 10 on Tuesdays.
I’m thinking Gossip Girl, 90210, HoD are crushed because of the voice.
Darn, I didn’t know Dr. Horrible was on! Loved that.
Really enjoying Go On, NG and RH. Watching TNN right now and soon B&K and Mindy. Too much on Tuesday night for me to watch them all in one go. My attention span is better during the day, lol.
