Definitions:

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

    park and recreation would get 2.7s behind the voice

  • Erin

    @Ryne

    Actually KS doesn’t live in the states, so he’s probably actually asking.

    @KS, no idea. I guess people didn’t like what they saw in the season premier.

  • Colin

    Vegas is dead after this season (if not earlier). No question about that.

  • Duncey

    The full-season renewals are pretty bad this year as Ben & Kate, Mindy Project, and New Normal are all struggling badly and Go On is starting to slip too. Partners is outperforming all of these programs except Go On and that’s only because Go On has the strongest lead-in out of these comedies.

    Parenthood is actually first in the demo with smaller help than Vegas and PP.

  • Potato

    I was thinking that would happen with Dr. Horrible… it’s not 2008. Everyone who wants to see it has already seen it.

  • Burr

    I’d say move Vegas to fridays, seeing as only old people watch it anyway, move H50 to Tuesdays at 10, but what to put on Mondays at 10? I’m thinking POI, see how it does with some real competition. Glee and Office are dying.

  • CBS

    What’s happening!!!

  • suzie

    Maybe they should put hOD on at 9pm so it doesn’t have to deal with the voice.

    Can you imagine if Ringer was renewed it would be getting 0.2′s

    - Glad Go On bounced back / New Normal+Parenthood at 2.0 / NBC can win Tuesday with *only* one hour of The Voice

    - Raising Hope is looking good for FOX. Good news for RH, not so good for FOX.

    - NCIS down A LOT. NCIS: LA down to the 2s slready? Vegas steady. It might see a season 2.

    - ABC needs hit dramas/sitcoms on Tuesday and cancel PP and DWTS-R.

  • The Old Woman

    @Peter Ivanov

    You do realize that when you talk about aging actors, your favorite show POI has one of the oldest casts don’t you? All the main actors on that show are in their mid forties and fifties compared to other shows with younger actors. And they are not fresh faces either. What a stupid excuse.

  • Max

    Let’s hope CW goes lower and lower. It’s sad and funny, that Univision is beating it!!

  • Sid

    Parenthood still performing solid for NBC.

  • Tyler

    Yes, Parenthood! This makes me so happy.

  • Spencer

    CBS should replace Vegas with Golden Boy and replace Made In Jersey with Undercover Boss quickly!

  • Byron

    Oh no, Hart of Dixie. :(

    Oh no, the CW.

  • Amy

    Yes Go Parenthood! Hope this makes their reneweal chances better!

  • RAYRAY

    GO ON was amazing last night!

  • Kavyn

    Was last week’s HOD horrible or something? The ratings are pretty bad compared to last week.

    Arrow has to be a hit but looking at these ratings it sounds like it’ll flop too, even with Supernatural (imo the two fanbases don’t click other than the girls who watch because the dudes are hot)

    CW’s done if they don’t do something soon. Even if Arrow premieres with 1.0+ it’ll only decline until it stabilizes. I’m seriously expecting a bloodbath for the new shows.

  • Sarah

    How much longer do we thing The CW will exist?

  • Ryne

    @Erin

    My bad, but it just sounded like one of those excuses people use that should be on the bingo card.
