“Where I disagree with you, is I believe most of undecided women who I think will vote …. I know a few personally, were totally turned off by Biden …. the one word my gut keeps telling me is he wasn’t ….. genuine.”
_________________________
Likely Voters that are also undecided are a very statistically small portion of the electorate, and likely undecided voters that would actually vote against a ticket on the basis of Biden’s demeanor are even smaller. Democrats who were feeling dispirited after last week’s debate, and desperately wanted someone to go on a stage and defend Democratic policy with vigor, on the other hand, are a pretty sizable voting bloc. I would be very surprised if the debate last night somehow ends up being a net negative for the ticket. This is the same reason that Obama got such a big bounce after the convention – It’s not that Clinton won over a whole bunch of voters, it’s that he made Democrats feel good about being Democrats again, which showed itself in likely voter enthusiasm.

Huh? Libya is close to the size of Alaska . 9 x bigger than Syria.]
I always loved Geography. Another way to visualize it: ’5 x Libya’ is an area equivalent to the contiguous (all lower 48) United States plus another Texas. Imagine that next to Lebanon.
Man! That’s a heluva lot of sand and rocks.
By the way, Lebanon is smaller than Connecticut.
Why are Republicans complaining about Lybia when the House Republicans cut funding for Embassy Security, which Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah) acknowledged this week.
This is the problem with the Republican way of thinking. They want to cut, cut, cut, but when something goes wrong they want to complain about why there wasn’t enough security. What a bunch of hypocrites.
US Catholic Bishops Responds To Inaccurate Statement Of Fact On HHS Mandate Made During Vice Presidential Debate
With regard to the assault on the Catholic Church, let me make it absolutely clear. No religious institution—Catholic or otherwise, including Catholic social services, Georgetown hospital, Mercy hospital, any hospital—none has to either refer contraception, none has to pay for contraception, none has to be a vehicle to get contraception in any insurance policy they provide. That is a fact. That is a fact.”
This is not a fact. The HHS mandate contains a narrow, four-part exemption for certain “religious employers.” That exemption was made final in February and does not extend to “Catholic social services, Georgetown hospital, Mercy hospital, any hospital,” or any other religious charity that offers its services to all, regardless of the faith of those served.

I am not a Catholic but my next door neighbor is. There much afoot with the Church regarding voting. This isn’t only Catholics , but, evangelical churches as well . I won’t out any church here, but, there is strong ‘”nudging” of who to vote for going on from these church pulpits.

*White House Press Secretary Jay Carney says Vice President Biden was speaking ‘directly for himself and for the president’ when he said ‘we weren’t told’ of requests for more diplomatic security in Libya at last night’s debate.
So if a document or email is discovered that shows the WH was made aware of it can we all agree this thing may be over?
I’m having my Daughter read Apples post for her Geography lesson
And
Watch clips from the VERY heated Press Conference, it was kinda steamy
What came out of last night, was that VP Biden had to outshine his boss. Not something you hope your vice president will do but in this case he had to. What Paul Ryan had to do was complient his boss, which he did also. Joe Biden had too many moments when his pants should have been on fire; really tossing the intelligence community and state dept under on the bus on Libya? But par for the course in this administration.
Oops, that under the bus

Hey Coffee and Ratboy, what do you guys think of House Republicans supporting legislation that cut funding for embassy security and then complaining that there needs to be more security?
Real Clear numbers in swing states are brutal for Obama-Biden. Biden had a chance to stem the bleeding last night. He came off as one of the biggest jerks in the history of jerks. He has no class.

Fair enough Question Mark2
I think 4 people are dead on another 911 attack and I think the administration is lying through their teeth, and the buck stops with the President and he needs to stop blaming and lead for a change.
Cuts or no cuts, there were enough funds to provide extra security for an embassy that had been attacked numerious times and had warnings even as close as 48 hours an attack was coming.
Thank You Apple, she loves it
@Mark2
PS: The money they spent on that Shrimp on a treadmill study for Global Warming would have provided security for 5 embassies
