If this is true could it be because……..ah…………..maybe……………OBAMA WASNT TAKING HIS INTELLIGENCE BRIEFINGS???????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
White House: Obama and Biden were never aware of requests for more Benghazi security
Vice President Joseph Biden speaks only for himself and President Barack Obama, and neither man was aware that U.S. officials in Libya had asked the State Department for more security before the Sept. 11 attack on the U.S. mission in Benghazi, a top White House official told The Cable
Definition of a complete Brain-Dead Airhead: One who believes that BSNBC’s audience is 32% conservative. What was he smoking when he read that somewhere? I cannot imagine any sane person watching Chrissy Matthews, et al. let alone a conservative.
@ So tell me, how did attending Security Briefings work out for Bush and Rice? It ended with the worst attack on U.S. soil with 3,000 Americans dead. Now don’t even try and compare that to 4 Americans dead
THERE IT IS AGAIN!!!!! SEE!! Answer the question with Bush, Cheney, Rice, Santa Clause, The Easter Bunny but NEVER a reason why obama di or didnt do something!!!
CLASSIC!!!!
I emailed Romney and told him On election night they should have him introduced with this song as he makes his acceptence speech

@Ratboy
Hey, those are the facts. Over 3,000 Americans died on American soil due to Terrorist acts under Republican’s watch. How many have died on American soil due to Terrorist under the Democrat’s watch? That’s what I thought! The record speaks for itself.
Didnt Uncle Bufoon do the same thing to his boss with the same sex marriage thing, you know jump the gun telling what Obama was gonna come out with???
Biden muffs Obama’s tax plans during debate
Vice President Joseph R. Biden on Thursday seemed to open the door to adjusting President Obama’s tax increases to only apply to those making $1 million or more a year — a much higher threshold than the $250,000 level they had pushed previously.
But the Obama campaign said Friday that Mr. Biden was only “providing an illustration” of how the tax increase would be divided out and that the president sticks by his bigger tax-increase plan.
The exchange came in the middle of Thursday’s vice presidential debate, when moderator Martha Raddatz of ABC asked Mr. Biden who would pay more in taxes and who would pay less under the president’s plan.
“The middle class will pay less, and people making a million dollars or more will begin to contribute slightly more,” the vice president replied. “We’re arguing that the Bush tax cuts for the wealthy should be allowed to expire. Of the Bush tax cuts for the wealthy, 800 billion dollars of that goes to people making a minimum of a million dollars.”
The debate about tax increases has raged throughout the Democratic party for several years, with House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi earlier this year floating a $1 million tax increase level.
That level had never won the backing of the White House until this week, when Mr. Biden’s remarks seemed to embrace her view.
But on Friday an Obama campaign official said the vice president was not changing the official position.
What about the previous eight years of gathering intelligence that preceded 1/20/2001? Clinton was offered bin Laden but refused to take him.
Don’t be a d-bag. You keep repeating the same $#1t, day in and day out. Maybe you libs and Dems have a short attention span, so you’re probably just reminding your own of the talking, I mean lying, points.
If it hadn’t been for Bush’s security measures after the unthinkable on 9/11, the Times Square would-be bomber, the underwear-bomber, etc. would have been caused the death of thousands of Americans on our own soil.
In 1995, who was at the helm in the White House when the Oklahoma City bombing had taken place? At the time, it was the worst terrorist attack on our soil.
Present facts, not Democrat party talking points.
Mark2, wash your face! You have kool aid stains all over it!!
@Ratboy: >>> …Mr. Biden was only “providing an illustration… <<<
Nice. So Biden was not just an interrupter, a laugher, a bully, a liar…he was also an illustrator. ROFLMBO!!!

“Hey, those are the facts. Over 3,000 Americans died on American soil due to Terrorist acts under Republican’s watch.”
How come when we talk about the mess we are in now it is because Obama inherited it from Bush but 911 even though it was only 9 months after he took office. So should you not be blaming 911 on the Dems?
Just food for thought,
The better half and I watched the VP debate. This was most likely the first debate she has watched in 12 years. She is an Independent, hates Palin, did not like 90% of what Bush did, can’t stand most of Fox, i.e. Hannity, and Bill and we very rarely discuss politics.
With that being said, after last night heck would have to freeze over before she voted for anything that included Biden. In addition, her comment to me when it was over was “No wonder Congress is screwed up when the leader of it has the, my way or highway attitude.”
Now food for thought from me.
Now for the last few weeks I have been doing my own polling since I am now in FL. My polling has been bumper sticker. I have been counting Obama / Romney stickers. For a state that is or was for Obama and area where in 2008 went for Obama in a very big way, I think they are in deep dodo. For every 1 Obama sticker I find at least 20 Romney sticker. That is places like Wal-Mart, gas stations, driving down Hillsborough, to downtown.

I am not saying that your wife is uniformed but it sounds like she has her beleifs but does not follow it like us junkies. That is what I ment last night when I sai that Ryan had a “lean win” last night with the uniformed voter. Perception is a major factor for those that do not follow it every day and the perception he gave was one of idiot bufoon clown! (of course Suiki said it was the worse analysis EVER!
)

(It was well above the median forecast for a slight decline to 78 among economists polled by Reuters.)
Consumer Sentiment Rises Unexpectedly to 5-Year High
U.S. consumer sentiment unexpectedly rose to its highest level in five years in October as consumers became more optimistic about the overall economy in a possible boost to President Obama’s reelection hopes next month.
The Thomson Reuters/University of Michigan’s preliminary October reading on the overall index on consumer sentiment came in at 83.1, up from 78.3 the month before, and the highest since September 2007, the survey showed on Friday.
“I agree, but my point to him was in reference he made to the security cuts Matthew, and how the governments job when cuts are made is to prioritize funds.”
_______________________________________
Responding to something from a page or two ago, but I’m actually curious about this. Your argument is that, for example, funds wasted on shrimp treadmills could be re-prioritized, but is that actually accurate? If the Congress has appropriated x-amount of dollars to research, is the executive branch actually allowed to just re-prioritize that money to whatever they feel like, is that within their authority? And even if it were, would it have made a difference in this scenario?
The whole problem with an organization being underfunded from the get-go is that it severely diminishes your ability to react to a crisis. If your problem is an absence of personnel, even being warned of an attack ahead of time doesn’t necessarily give you room to actually hire and train personnel, so all you can do is move existing resources from one embassy to another; yet, how are we to know whether or not that would have opened us up to attacks in other areas, without having all of the intelligence data that the administration would have had?
I’m not saying the administration didn’t screw up massively here (they did), nor that they shouldn’t be held accountable, but it’s awfully easy to say “Well, they should have done this and this and this” when you’re acting from a position of after-the-fact omniscience. I think the much bigger issue will ultimately be the cover-up, rather than failures in prevention.
