Ibsles, I enjoy them myself.
Uh oh—70% of trading is high frequency traders associated with the exchange. Suspect economic numbers—- Gallup admitted to changing methodically with 4 weeks to election day. Who can you trust?
So is anybody going to defend Rush’s comment that declaring war with Iran is somehow going to be a winning issue for Obama. lol

Coal: Anyone living in a coal state is well aware of the administratios anti coal stance. Those adds just damage the credibility of the campaign.

I wouldn’t be surprised by anything the Chicago outfit does. They covered up a terror attack. They put out jobless claims with something missing. We got a huge drop in unemployment. The word is that people are working out of their basement. Well, maybe but 800,000 in one month.
If they think they are going to lose they are capable of anything. They are behaving like a criminal gang. Geez, they are tied or maybe a tiny bit behind and they behave like gangsters. Chicago politics were all that matters is hanging on to power. They can taste a majority of liberals on the Supreme court. They won’t have to win another election for decades.
Mark for many of us on the right put our faith in God. For many zealots on the left the government power is God. Elections are not as important to us. We serve a higher power.
@Mark: While I agree with a lot of what Rush says, I do not listen to his radio program. As with most talk show hosts, he may say something outrageous just to get a rise out of callers.
As for declaring war on Iran, the US has not declared war on any other nation since FDR did in 1941. WE should get OUT of Afghanistan, our nation’s longest war (11 years and counting). If I was POTUS, our troops would have been home by now after Afghans starting executing American soldiers who were training THEM to protect themselves. And, suspect EVERYTHING with Pakistan, the nation who protected Osama bin Laden while taking Billions of our tax dollars each year.
not ‘suspect’ but SUSPEND EVERYTHING with Pakistan.
Here is a funny clip from Chris Matthews today.

This lady kept saying Obama is a communist, but when Matthews pushed her for a reason why she really couldn’t come up with anything other then “All you have to do is study it out”. My guess is her studying including big heeping of Glen Beck(I won’t even blame Fox News because in their eyes he is only a socialist)
@Ralph
Your ignoring my question though and getting into schematics(about the term declaring war) to avoid answering the question do you honestly believe what Rush said about Obama? That he would agree “to a joint operation with Israel into Iran” to try win the election?
I just want somebody who actually agrees with that statement as something to be fearful of to explain to me how that would be a potential winning campaign issue for Obama(given that a majority of his base probably would hate it).

@Mark
There will be no attack on Iran, but the logic behind the helping thing is the Nation always rallys behind any President when military action is done
Bush 1 when the Iraq war broke out went up to an un-heard of 84% approval within 2 weeks and lasted for many weeks
@Sam
Can’t believe it but I have to agree with Newt Gingrich, Rick Santorum, Rick Parry and Mike Huckabee. Mitt Romney is a liar who will say anything.
Mr. Hair Plugs vs Wolverine’s Son.
@Steve
Fair enough but given how going to war polls with dems, independents and hell even Republicans it’s not a winning issue(unless you have a neocon or want armageddon to happen and feel a war with Iran is 1 step closer to that)
have-are
@Mark
In the short term even most dems would support, it’s that little old patriot that just seems to flow out when it happens, it fades after a few weeks, but it’s always happened.
If at the start and if things went well, even the left would be up for it as long as it was quick and no long term involvement.
