Ryan should stop raising his eyebrows, he is a young man that’ll only makes him look older.
I gotta be honest, Biden is doing fine so far but I’m kinda worried he is gonna say something stupid soon.
I’ve only recently started watching the debate, (like, within the last 8 minutes), and so far I’m not seeing the ‘wonkery’ that Ryan is supposed to be known for, to his detriment imho. He’s dropping an awful lot of weak platitudes, the sort of stuff that the conservative base eats up, but everyone else just rolls their eyes at. Biden, on the other hand, might be laying it on a little too thick, and come off as being too smug and disrespectful. Of course, smug and disrespectful might be the kind of horses**t that the American voter eats up.
Is it just me or is Biden coming across as a smart aleck?
@Sam

Nah.. He’s just Joe
They both are doing fine and Joe will too. They are just pitching the party line for the leader they follow
Of course, lack of substance in debates is to be expected; Despite whatever BS the media uses to hype them up, they are NOT a good format for laying out specifics, or even explaining a policy platform. They are, however, a great format for giving a series of 2-minute prepared mini-speeches, that the media can loop endlessly the next day. Anyone who’s still an undecided voter at this point is an actual, literal moron
Welp, that’s just how I feel
Biden is holding it down! Doing 10 times better than Obama.
@Letmethink
Is it just me or is Biden coming across as a smart aleck?
For whatever reason, that’s what whoever prepped him to do, he’s doing, maybe to test the waters for next weeks debate
Why doesn’t she stop Biden from constantly interrupting?
@Matthew
Anyone who’s still an undecided voter at this point is an actual, literal moron
I’m just not sure yet Matthew
Biden is also kind of wordy and is constantly interupting. He is definately on the ofensive. The questionis whether is is too ofensive.
“He is definately on the ofensive. The questionis whether is is too ofensive.”

Frankly, Biden’s performance is probably exactly what most of the Democrats were hoping for. It’s important to keep in mind that most voters, especially high-information voters, have already made their minds up about who they’re voting for at this point. What really matters is firing people up and making sure they’re gonna volunteer, go out and register people, knock on doors, and show up on election day.
Obama’s dismal performance last week sent a clear message to all of the volunteers – “If I’m not gonna put in the effort, or try to look like I give a s**t at this debate, why should YOU bother to put in the effort?” It’s the sort of thing that really damages enthusiasm and turn-out. What Biden is attempting to do is act as a sort of firebrand, and show that someone is willing to defend this administration on a national stage, and do it with conviction. Maybe it works, maybe it doesn’t, but he definitely couldn’t go in and softball it tonight.
Looks like this is turning into 2 against one.
Biden is on Fire.

It sure does seem she is only challenging Ryan doesn’t it?
@coffee. It does seem that way right now.
We are never, ever going to cut our stupid defense budget. And if we ever do, the Congress will always hit the troops first and hardest; after all, it takes parts from quite a few districts to build an F-35, but only one district to produce a soldier, so it’s obvious where you put your money if you’re looking for some of that sweet, sweet lobby money. Let’s just grow the D.O.D. forever and forever
She did go off a little, but she’s challenging Biden also, I’m already seeing it. If Biden wins this debate, they will blame the moderator…..:)
@letmethink

That could play in the publics (undecided) eyes in Ryans favor, shes not allowing a smooth flow now, and thats not right for Joe or Ryan
Hubby just brought me in a new iPad. Not
Sure how to refresh the page–anyone know?
