Pre-season critical darling Nashville bowed to a 2.8 adults 18-49 rating and NBCs Chicago Fire drew a 1.9 adults 18-49 rating in its premiere. Arrow's premiere on the CW drew a 1.3 adults 18-49 rating. The full ratings post is now up here.

AAAAAAAAAh a 1.3!!! This is GREAT,great great. And like other 8.00 PM shows that tends to be adjusted up, i expect a wonderful 1.4 for Arrow.
With all these years erosion for CW, this is a Hit! Now has to mantain these ratings….
So Arrow matched The Secret Circle’s premiere ratings!
This means people actually CAN find the CW. They just don’t want to watch their shows like Hart of Dixie, 9O21O, and Gossip Girl.
So a 1.3 was the same as The Secret Circle last year. Good without the VD lead-in but I had hoped for a little bigger. Will have to see if it hold up. Good indication from half hours though.

NBC should just do the voice from monday to firday because that is the only thing that brings in viewers for them
TSC was so much inflated by TVD. And last year cw was higher with every new shows. Arrow STARTED the night, and usually the 8.00 pm show tends to be adjusted up. So LET’S CELEBRATE IT!!!
Now. Amazon will get ordered?

I hate to use Fan-excuse Bingo, but I’d barely saw any promos for Nashville, I actually forgot it was Premiering last night until earlier in the day

I read elsewhere that Nashville shed a fairly decent percentage of it’s demo and viewers in the back half hour whereas Chicago Fire maintained it’s demo through out — granted it’s only the premiere but should ABC be concerned with that shedding and will NBC be happy with the retention?
