Pre-season critical darling Nashville bowed to a 2.8 adults 18-49 rating and NBCs Chicago Fire drew a 1.9 adults 18-49 rating in its premiere.  Arrow's premiere on the CW drew a 1.3 adults 18-49 rating. The full ratings post is now up here.

Bunch of geeks here. Nashville premiere was “boring?”

What next, “Ben and Kate” isn’t funny? “Last Resort” isn’t thrilling? The sky isn’t blue?

If Supernatural really got a 1.0 airing against Modern Family and the x factor, that is just amazing for the show and the cw. Maybe an arrow can save the cw after all

Damn Damn with Arrow and excelelnt for the CW. They needed this so bad. It really helped Supernatural. Damn not to mention that guy on there is a hottie. CW just woke up to good news. IMO they should nurture this really well. CW should be doing more of these shows.

Nashville IMO is still solid and what I thought it would do for ABC. Its a bit lower then Revenge did in its first episode. I will say I absolutely enjoyed it. It had alot going on in it but Connie Britton I just absolutely loved her. I also loved Hayden Pantierre. I am interested to see how this show further develops.

its kinda mean of me but I dont want Nashville to be a hit only for the simple fact that Revenge should be the only hit on Wed. for a while to come. I want ppl to stay focus on Revenge & Once being the big hits for ABC.

@Barbarossa – That’s the funniest thing I’ve read about Trashville so far! Love the irony. I was laughing when I saw at least four promos during MNF. What a waste of money.

    @Mac Vrany

    Very good point!

Chicago fire is DOA like I expected but still did better than what I thought.
Arrow will be the highest rated show on the CW. No surprise there.

  • Julia

1.3 is pretty good for CW

  • Valerie

    Great for Arrow!

Just remember that Ringer premiered with similar numbers to Arrow but dropped to a .4 in the demo by the end of its first season.

  • Simon

    Well done ‘Arrow’!

  • KS

All the Arrow fans, please relax. Even Ringer was premiered with the same ratings last season and it quickly dropped afterwards.

My predictions for Nash and CF were off by a tenth. I was a bit too optimistic, but I really missed it with CSI. I thought with all the competition the show would go down, but it didn’t.

@Barbarossa: ABC was constantly advertising Nashville. Even every episode of everything had ABC’s logo at the bottom saying “Nashville in x Days”.

    Shame. :\

I do wonder how Arrow will do next week though! Can it keep these numbers?

I wonder if Arrow will rate higher than TVD’s premiere as well.

  • E.S.

“Nashville” reminds me of “Smash,” but switch the Broadway musical plot out with country music. Both shows premiere numbers also disappointed.

When I see these premiere numbers for Arrow and the good numbers for Supernatural, I wonder why did the cw insisted on ordering freaking carrie diaries, emily owens and beauty and the beast. I mean, they took 2/5 steps to the right direction (I consider cult as the good direction, even if I have heard the execution of the show sucks), which in their state is completely wrong. They should have gotten the selection thing instead of beauty and the beast. The carrie diaries is the worse for me, why they are still after that audience is beyond me

wow seeing the ratings…even though I like Nashville maybe ABC should switch Nashville and Last Resort. Nashville fits better with Grey’s being a female orientated drama and all, and Last Resort would do better in the later item slot.

@KS Ringer premiered with a 1.2. It was The Secret Circle that got a 1.3 – and I miss that show dearly. I honestly expect Beauty and the Beast to fail.

i wouldnt get to excitied about arrow.. the ratings will dip. the only reason it was that high is because its a brand new show people were checking it out. But ill bet they wont come back. I watch half of it last night.. well i tryed to at least. and i shut it off within the first 10 minutes. The acting is horrific, the writing is bad. The whole episode was dry.. and made me cringe. Hey some people may like dry writing and terrible acting, if so this is the show for you. i wont be tuning in, and my guess is neither will a lot of other people.
