    Crimtv, people do watch GG,HOD,90210 (I’m one of them)& just because YOU don’t like them,watch them or want to them dosent mean nobody does -im one one those who do watch and and like those shows(people online, dvr, Netflix ect not live)or that they should be gotten rid of-CW needs to be balanced, and becoming a scifi/fantasy/action adventure network will end in the same rust as the “teen girl soapy shows” now-the trend lasts a brief time then the shows will crash,which I expect to happen to the superhero/comic book hero genre very soon once all the Batman,Spiderman,Advengers fuss dies down.Theres plenty of room on CW for female -skewing/female shows and male skewing shows and gender nuetral skewing shows.SPN only did so well because of Arrows premiere,I expect it’ll be at 0.7-0.8 next week or two.There are CW viewers who don’t like the shows you listed as tithe only ones CW should be airing:SMV,SPN,Arrow-I’m one and am sure there are others who are the same way.

    NBC must put The biggest loser – 2 hours in wednesdas. Its cheap and around 2.0 in demo. Get rid of these sitcoms. They don’t work on that day. As L and O at 9 pm too. Put Law and O in thursday at 10. Will be with same if not better ratings.

    And that was the last picture taken of Simon before he went to an island to be alone.

    I know the ratings are good, but he ain’t happy.

    I know the ratings are good, but he ain’t happy.

    He’d probably be happier if he exited the closet he occupies with tom cruise and ryan seacrest

    The math is good. Put TBL in nov sweeps, wich is right after election, get rid of BW and put Law and order at 10 pm in thursdays. TBL 2 hours in wednesdays.

    All these low rated sitcoms in frydays.

    The Neighbors haters, have you even watched the show? it’s actually not bad.

    We see Game Theory Hero CBS on pedestal ! Now you look! CBS! Suing everybody isn’t healthy! Big Brother your version can’t beat Survivor! But it sure have killed Survivor’s timeslot! The Amazing Race is fighting getting back the numbers on Sunday! Big Brother your version has killed Game Theory Reality! We have two singing competitions The Voice and X Factor! They have similarities! But they coexist! CBS! Fix it! Tell ABC The Glass House can co exist with Big Brother! Or Julie Chen have seizure on The Talk!

    I can’t find this if it’s been answered:

    If you don’t know what “simultaneous substitution” is, never mind: just be grateful you don’t live in Canada. Anyway, SVU seemed to end abruptly last night in favour of local news and a slightly early start of the 10pm Eastern show on A or CTV2 or whatever the hell they’re calling it now. So, question:

    Was there a verdict in the SVU case? We got “cut off” right after substitute captain wished Benson “good luck”. Is that how it ended or what is the story?

  • John_M

    just be grateful you don’t live in Canada

    I’m thankful for that every day

    When Canada is dead and gone, there’ll be no more Celine Dion

  • Pat

    I agree. This Neighbors episode is the funniest yet. I think it will make it throught the end of the season.

    @Brandy

    I personally really like 90210 and Gossip Girl and have watched all of the seasons, but i’m just saying only 700,000-800,000 are watching GG because the teens who have watched it since 2007 are growing up and shows need a wider appeal! Arrow and SPN have a wider appeal!

    Not really sure how many times I’ve read this before, but it might be the most annoying over reacting comment due to Arrows ‘good for the cw but crap for almost every other network, including FX’ premiere numbers.

    Arrow’s wider appeal is what, maybe some college girls will watch the buff talentless men with their ‘smoldering’ eyes?

  • CrimTV

    @SJ

    Totally agree, How To Live With Your Parents needs to go to Wednesday, it’s a comedy about a single woman (Sarah Chalke) who has a daughter who moves in with her parents, much more compatible with family comedy The Middle and other comedies Modern Family and Suburgatory!

  • JASON

    @ Hypocrites, the viewership of Family Guy isn’t up there is obviously due to the day that it airs on. When speaking of ratings it has actually done better than X Factor so you’re wrong about it being the lone ratings program.

    X Factor with it’s overload of scripted drama just doesn’t appeal enough to the American viewers and the fact that the UK is losing interest as well is very worrisome for Simon Cowell. The other Simon however with the surname Fuller must be ecstatic. Not only did he won the law suit he filed against Cowell, it now looks like X Factor USA might not be around for much longer and Idol will be the only singing show on Fox again.

  • CrimTV

    @John_M

    Yes a 1.3 is terrible on another network but the fact is that it’s The CW’s highest numbers so far and yes they need a wider appeal! You can’t compare CW’s ratings to other networks! It even beat NBC and FOX’s The Mob Doctor!

    I haven’t watched Arrow yet, I have it on my DVR. Nashville was great, hopefully the quality holds up. The cast is A+. Chicago Fire was better than i thought, will have it on my DVR list for now, but not a must watch for me just yet.

    The Neighbors last night was actually funny. Jackie’s real housewife storyline was hilarious! but ABC’s Wednesday block isn’t the place for the show. This show would probably do well on Fridays. but it the ratings haven’t crashed and burned like most people expected.

    Nashville’s ratings are good, I expected more, but Modern Family wasn’t the 6.0 that Revenge got as a lead in, so this is a good outcome and great for ABC considering how ABC’s 10pm ratings have been this season.

    and Nashville’s singles are currently at #19 and #84 on the iTunes chart.

    @Brandy

    0.4 and seven hundred thousand viewers are not enough for the network to survive on unless it absolutely has to. Now compare that to how much the dark fantasy and superhero stuff is getting. In light of that, the network would be foolish to continue in the vein of Gossip Girl and 90210 when it can get over twice as many viewers and several points more in the demo in a different genre.

    You’re insane if you think NBC is going to shuffle their schedule that much in two weeks (when sweeps start).

    There will definitely be some shuffling prior to February sweeps though.

    Last night’s episode of The Neighbors had me rolling on the floor! Jackie Joyner Kersee acting like one of the Housewives from Jersey was hysterical!
