You know nothing of race wars aimed at you. You grew up in a white school or small town.
Hey lbsles, the reason polls are skewed is because there are more Democrats than Republicans and there are more people who now identify themselves as Independents.
Here’s the latest Party Affiliation numbers from Gallup:
Independents = 38%
Democrats = 32%
Republicans = 28%
No ID = 2%
Leaners
Democrat = 50%
Republican = 43%
No Lean = 7%

If you have not lived it , You have no right to make other good kids live it.
So Doug,
Your going to continue to dodge the question which is the essences of the discussion?
Faith3
You are dodging it. I lived it. You have no right. You send you kids to a war zone. I was there.
You would not, you are to good for that. You sent the money to live where you live. Move there and help these kids. Do not worry about the damage you would cause you kids. I lived it.
Faith3 I was there you were not. Move there and see
Faith3 this makes me mad, as you see. I made it anyway.Your kids might not. I did not want my kids killed 3 under 18 died last night. In St Louis, They were not your kids. I saw it. I have dead friends , you do not.
I can not talk of this any more and you will never understand in your wonderful life.
I will be nice and drop this now. You need to see your fri8end that are dead. It could have been me.
Sorry about my writing I was mad and did not check it.
The topic is not whether public schools should educate all children because that is a mandate. The question and the topic is is it fair to judge a school and its teachers of schools that are filled with specific issues on the bases of a standardized test? I’m sure it must have registered how assinine such a policy is for both schools and teachers. Also, the irony is these schools filled with major issues which need the most resources are getting stripped of those resources.
Faith3
It is about dead people . I can not go on with this. You do well and have never seen. You have not right to talk of this with me.
I have to move on now. This makes me to mad when white rich people tell others how to live.
Faith3
I am sorry. You hit a sore spot in my life. It came out well , but it was hard.
Faith3
St Louis city schools get all the money.
Washington DC is where the highest per student cast are , in the world!!!!!!!!!!!
Doug,
If it makes you feel any better I agree with your point, “it makes me mad when white rich people tell others how to live their lives” not everyone has worn another’s shoes.
Faith.
Andrew Sullivan had an article in the Chicago Trib.
Firing Teachers with Due Process
It can take 2-5 years.

@Faith3
As far as Chicago charter schools, I find it interesting but not surprising your article didn’t mention the high levels of students that leave the charters.
- -
I know there is a large turnover of teachers (Charters in Chicago have a longer day, more days, & less pay) , &, an analysis completed by the Illinois Policy Institute in 2010 showed that the percentage of students who transfer out of charter schools is roughly half that of the neighborhood public schools charter students would likely otherwise attend.
2012 was a year of significant progress for CICS, with 91% of our high school graduates accepted to college.

There is also a Chicago Virtual Charter School, a hybrid of distance learning, homeschooling, and traditional classroom education. The three-year-old school has a detailed online curriculum and strict requirements for being logged in for five hours of instruction five days a week.
Traditional ways of attending school are decreasing , not only in Chicago but everywhere.

Hi d.d,
I’ve no doubt it takes time to go through due process procedures. No one every said due process is suppose to be easy. After all, why bother having due process at all? Imagine a world with no courts or hearings? Anyway, there are reasons for those state laws. If people think due process is a waste then so be it. I say why bother living in a democratic society?
As far as Chicago charters, it is great to celebrate but equally great to bring up the point they have gotten rid of a lot of those who tend to bring down test scores. Just the facts that shouldn’t be forgotten when discussing the big picture.

Don’t you mean that they have gotten rid of those who don’t want to learn?
Sure but what exactly is your point?
