  • Coffee Steve

    @Sicilian Papa

    Real Clear still has Romney ahead overall, and increasing the demograpics as well, it’s a trend for Romney all over the board

  • Sicilian Papa

    Bengals lost to the 0-5 brownies.

    Think that’s bad. Pats blow a 13 pt. lead with 6 minutes to go in the forth.

    Mitt Romney’s campaign has been caught cutting corners when a page on their website matched a page on President Obama’s website that had been published over 5 months earlier.

    The pages in question are the Obama and Romney campaigns donation pages. This is the text of President Obama’s website:

    “After you’ve saved your credit card and phone number in your BarackObama.com account, you can use your cell phone to make a donation. All you need to do is text the amount you want to give. If you text us “10?, we’ll charge your saved credit card $10. It’s never been easier to donate.”

    Now here was Mitt Romney’s donation page text:

    “After you’ve saved your credit card and phone number in your MyMitt account, you can use your cell phone to make a donation. All you need to do is text the amount you want to give. If you text us “10?, we’ll charge your saved credit card $10. It’s never been easier to donate.”

    This story was originally broken by buzzfeed.com, who after it was reported, publicly shamed the Romney campaign into updating their website. Naturally the Romney campaign offered no apologies or admittance of guilt, but Romney’s digital director, Zac Moffat, claimed, “This was a junior staff confusion that has been updated and resolved.”

    Salon.com reported that the plagiarized version of President Obama’s donation website launched in March. Mitt Romney’s page was not officially published until August. Those are the indisputable facts. Also let the record reflect that the campaigns share no vendors, so this was not a case of an outside company selling an identical product.

    If the blatant plagiarism and the non-admittance of guilt was not bad enough two weeks ago Zac Moffat gave an interview where he claimed, “I think our online ad team is superior to theirs [Obama's]. It’s where we pride ourselves as a campaign to be cutting edge.”

    The cutting edge? Of copying and pasting, perhaps.

    More evidence of their lunacy and constant denial. The Romney Ryan Campaign is a joke!

    Just need some humor on here from time to time

    Yep, and it’s needed during an election. :-)

    I’m worried about Mark2, if it turns out Romney wins, he may throw him and his Granny BOTH off the clift. :twisted:

  • usnretiredx2

    Morning all that I did not say morning to. sorry I didn’t post a video for you all too.

  • usnretiredx2

    @Jeff

    “Mitt Romney’s campaign has been caught cutting corners”

    Just may be the company that set this up for Obama is the same that set this up for Romney.

    It does not bother me so I am not going to look into it.

  • Coffee Steve

    By the way starting this week, a BUNCH of polling places will update their results. Up till now many only took one once a month ot bi-weekly, but now that were 3 weeks away, they poll more often and switch their methods to more reflect which side may vote more.

    Could be more clear by Friday.

  • Coffee Steve

    PS:

    If there is to be an October Surprise for either side it will come by the end of this week, history show during the last 14 days the effect isn’t as much because people then expect one and don;t give them as much credit.

  • Ratboy

    Gray, dismal, rainy day here again today…….and that is INSIDE!!!!! :shock:

    remember I told you I got into a local DNC breakfast last Friday? My buddy just called and BOY OH BOY DID HE GET THE GOING OVER by the guy at the local office for having me there. :lol: He asked why he wasnt told that I wasnt a dem and my buddy said “you never asked, maybe you should ask for some ID at the door!!!” :lol: :lol: I dont think he will get invited back either not to mention he has decided to 1. not vote at all or 2. vote for Romney but that one is a harder pill for him because he is a bit of a leftie!
