I’m just getting online . Hi, all
——————
Rats,
I want a few slivers of your wild boar … I ‘ll barter you for some of my apple strudel.
No barter would be needed! It came out real good! The only problem is that last year the guy shot a real big one and this year shot a real small one. The big one was too fatty and the small one was not fatty enough so it did not pull as well as it should have! I had to cut more than pull. I overdid it sampleng the belly meat though so I might have to fast for a while (20 or 30 min)
Got some stuff to do,
If Mark2 comes on tell him I said Hi
BBL2
@Ibsles JFK 1962
I’ll be by later to pick up my prize. I think we are in the same general vicinity.
@ dana
You should have posted AFTER Suki! So I guess the unions are like the Black Panthers too right??????
Saw in yesterdays NY post or was it the NY Daily news…one of those papers, the poem “Night before Christmas” is being updated not to include mice or a pipe with smoke that circled his head like a wreath.” Holy 1984 Batman!
What next, are they going to come up to Troy,NY and burn the original copy from the library or tear down the building where it was written? Holy Fahrenheit 451 Batman!
I saw Axelrod on FOX News Sunday. He is saying we can’t ask any questions about the Libya terror attack cover up. The family of Chris Stevens does not want any questions asked by Romney-Ryan.
If we had a Republican in that White House there would be a feeding frenzy in the corrupt lib. media about Embassy Gate. The family of a Republican Ambassador wouldn’t get the time of day in the corrupt lib. media.
I can’t stomach Presidential flunkies on either side.
RATBOY:: without any sort of verification an employer cannot really make anyone vote a certain way…i know that after obama won last time i was forced to lay off 60 employees due to his policies, if those employess knew at the time what was at stake maybe they had the right to know…
Thanks for sharing that USN….
I had two mini escargot sandwiches heavy in mushrooms and butter sauce, enjoying them until the ppl around me kept repeating what they were….same reaction as you. A huge chunk of Duck was on my plate too that looked like a steak surrounded with red juice. Under cooked is NOT my thing, especially poultry.
Back to being a proud ugly American, hamburger and fries for lunch earlier
@ Letmethink
Your choice a 12 pack or a 1.75-liter of McCormick Whiskey from Weston, MO.

@dd I haven’t been on those site but will ck them out. When I was doing some cking on the fact that DC schools spent more than other schools on operations and transportation, I was surprised to see that education is worse than I thought. I could not find stats on how much DC spends on operations and transportation compared to other schools but I did find that they have been fudging the numbers, They just admitted that they spend nearly $30,000 per student. If they can’t raise educational performance with that much money per student and take care of buildings and transportation, the problem is bigger than I thought. I still contend that throwing money at these problems is not the answer.
There are so many federal restrictions and requirements that it is hard for even great teachers to do their best. A scope and sequence will be introduced one year. The next year different scope and sequence is introduced. Huge gaps in learning are inevitable when there is no continuity. I have seen education steadily deteriorate since the Dept of Education was formed during the Carter administration. Yes, bad teachers stay around forever. One story and then I need to go buy groceries. We had a speaker one year for in-service who asked us all to look around at teachers sitting near us. Look them in the eye. Really notice them. Then he said, “Don’t look around now and don’t answer out loud but did you see some “bad” teachers?” Then he said, do you think anyone might have been thinking you were a “bad” teacher?” That made such an impression on me. I thought I was a good teacher and I think most do–even the bad ones. Evaluations are useless. You are notified that you will be observed. You work and work to prepare a bang up lesson for that day. The children know you are to be observed and if they like you, they are on their best behavior. If you are friends with the principal, you get a better evaluation. If you get a really bad one, the teacher’s organization will help you challenge the observation. So to save themselves the misery most evaluators give acceptable or better evaluations.
Poll Shows Akin Leading McCaskill Outside Margin Of Error
A Republican pollster surveying the Missouri Senate race between incumbent Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-MO) and controversial Republican senate candidate Rep. Todd Akin (R-MO) finds the race shifting in Akins direction. In that survey, conducted by the Republican polling firm Wenzel Strategies, finds Akin leading McCaskill by 49 to 45 percent – outside the poll’s +/- 3.07 percent margin of error.
@Ibsles–I’ll take the whiskey–:) just as any good ole’ West Texas girl would do.
Yes, the rain was great. Had just finished planting violas so they should do well.
I, for sure, am not a UT fan. In the past I would root for them when they played someone from out of state–but not anymore. Go Red Raiders and TCU for me!!
Bye all–have a great day!!
Republicans want smaller Government just like criminals want fewer cops.
So they can get away with murder!

So true, Bush/Cheney proved that!

we are hearing more and more positive things about Romney from the left these days!!! Could it be that they dont want to be on the wrong side when the numbers come in?
Really, Piers? Liberal Piers Morgan Says Romney ‘Just Might Save America’
Has CNN’s Piers Morgan had a revelation? Or is he simply praising Mitt Romney in the British press while peddling Democratic talking points on CNN?
Romney “just might save America,” Morgan proclaimed over the weekend in Britain’s Daily Mail. “His track record as a businessman is better than almost any presidential candidate ever.”
Coal miners ask Obama to stop ‘absolute lies’
BEALLSVILLE – Coal miners at the American Energy Corp. Century Mine said they want President Barack Obama to stop what they term the war on coal – and to stop spreading mistruths about them.
The miners said Obamas campaign team is running ads filled with blatantly false statements about the miners regarding their participation in Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romneys August campaign stop at the Century Mine. These ads assert that the miners were forced to attend the event by the mines owner, Robert Murray.
