   *WIRE: U.S. intelligence set back when Libya ‘CIA base’ was abandoned…

   (Reuters) – U.S. intelligence efforts in Libya have suffered a significant setback due to the abandonment and exposure of a facility in Benghazi, Libya identified by a newspaper as a “CIA base” following a congressional hearing this week, according to U.S. government sources.

   The intelligence post, located 1.2 miles from the U.S. mission that was targeted by militants in a September 11 attack, was evacuated of Americans after the assault that killed Ambassador Christopher Stevens.

   CNN is actually hoping that Romney wins. If Obama wins, them CNN will collapse. They’re hoping for a Romney win, so they can have 4 years of covering Romney’s failures.

   There is talk that it is even closer than that. They stopped running ads a couple of weeks ago but I am waiting to see if they start up again. In 2008 there were Obama yard signs all over the place but this year they are few and far between. All the polls aside, an upset in Michigan would not suprise me

   I mentioned this morning that I was at a local DNC breakfast meeting for a while. There was not a lot of enthusiasm in that room. There seemed to be a lot of real concern

   The registration deadline here was Oct 6th, the GOP out registered the Dems by 65% this year

    I am not sure how the registration went here. I do know the overall enthusiasm is being show for the R’s. They are working heavy ground game every weekend.

    I’m watching UK maddness, the cats could be rated number 2 right behind Louisville, (1) again this year, and Indiana rated 3rd.

    It’s kind of funny that all you Republicans are talking about Biden’s smiles, laughs, etc, and not mentioning the ISSUES that were discussed.
    1. Ryan railed against the Stimulus but admitted that he ended up asking for Stimulus funds
    2. Ryan finally admitted to Women that they were going to try and overturn Roe v. Wade
    3. Ryan would not guarantee a withdrawal out of Afghanistan
    4. Ryan would still not give specifics on their Tax Plan
    5. Ryan railed against lack of Embassy security but we found out that he voted against funding for Embassy Security upgrades.
