    Good Saturday Morning Everyone!

Had breakfast with my buddies this morning, we shared the looked over the latest data as of 4pm Friday.

Romney Gaining and increasing his lead in many areas

    Gaining among single women
Married women, forget it, Romney has a huge lead
    Independents-Huge lead for Romney
SHOCKER-Hispanics Romney has picked up 7-9 points

Florida and Virginia may soon be a loss to the Dems
    North Carolina-Romney
Michigan is in play as is Wisc.
    Ohio Leans Romney +2

University of CO projected computer models is now showing a 6-7 point win for Romney. Models are scary like the Carter Reagan election year.

And yes, while its fun to go over this stuff, anything can happen within 20 days to go, it’s just fun and FYI…

    PS:
    @d.d.

There is a definite trend in the Senate races; the GOP has a legit shot at gaining the majority seats, and in the house? No chance the Dems gain control.

If Scott brown hangs on to his seat, GOP has a very good chance at a majority.

Also some models are projecting if it in fact turns out Romney starts pulling away the coat tail effect will come. Of course thats a BIG If.

CNN has been doing better than MSNBC when there are special political programing on that night. I wonder why they didn’t draw their usual crowd that only watches during this type of event. VP debate just didn’t interest that crowd?

First. I turned the TV off right after the debate, too.

Your question is a good one & would be best answered by Ralph & Coffee who both worked in the news, but, I ‘ll give you a viewers opinion. I watch Fox some …. about 20 minutes of Megyn Fox several times a week, the last half hour of Bret Baier Q.D., &, Chris Wallace Sunday . I watch a little less CNN , mainly AC 360. I keep trying to give CNN more chances , but, they are losing. They keep an elitist twit, Piers Morgan , who will never attract blue collar workers , Soledad O’Brien whose sarcasm , eyebrow raising & facial expressions , plus apparent biases , lose Republicans & Independents. Bias at CNN was especially apparent when the Tea Party was on the rise , with use such sexually charged words as teab*gger, coupled with many more sarcastic ones. Both MSNBC & Fox , have opinion show biases. CNN has biases as well. .

CNN’s talent is tired . Wolf Blitzer is on too long & AC 360 should not be two hours like Bill O’ is at Fox. He does not have the same draw. Bring back Crossfire with a totally different panel , do a clean sweep of anchors, except for Cooper & Blitzer , & come back with a new format, or, the bleeding will continue.

People are fickle. If they watched debates on CNN in the past, CNN lost most of them due to inertia , & , bad programming.

Now, lets hear from Coffee & Ralph.

    Michigan and NH, Not Wisc.

Most people aren’t like us that follow these things every day, due to their busy lives; they tend to focus on the main events and main info, thus the reason why you get the repeating sound bites and 30 second GATCHA clips from the Media.

All of us who really follow this stuff, the media honestly don’t care about, 99% of us that do already know who we will vote for, so the Media does the spin job routine for those who can, in their minds be swayed.

But as to your question now, most people like making their own minds up and not listen to the spin, they don’t much care to have a Chris Matthews or a Hannity tell them how to vote.

All of them in the Political camps know the majority of the people will vote Money situation first, economy second, and a number of other factors that include economy, wars, Government issues etc.

So most will tune in for the debates and some local and National issues and then will get back to life.

Last time I saw a study at the station only 14-18% spend time studying the issues and the people running, most usually vote the way mom or dad did and the way their house was growing up, and the study also showed that by age 30 a large number of people tend to grow more conservative as they see how the government uses and takes their money. Go figure :-)

    Steve ,

After I watched this , I changed my mind on the moderator , Martha Raddatz.
She had no control over this debate.

Unprecedented: Watch Joe Biden Interrupt Paul Ryan 85 Times During Debate

Plus, what a phony, rude, buffoon Joe Biden is . I think I read where he called Ryan my griend 14 times.

    @d.d.

I think she did a decent job, she may lean left but she got on Joe too at times, just Ryan more times LOL

    Good video though, thank you

    Hospital time, catch everyone later

    Peace

Laughable. Where are all the PMSNBC schmucks now??? Al that angst and you’re right back where you belong. WAH WAH WAH. PMSNBCCP can’t win when all you do is lie and suck off the libtard teet. Sooner or later the teet runs dry. When all you scream is racism, bias, and hate, and then claim the other side is the one doing with NOTHING but your OWN bias the source for that, it gets old fast. Enjoy it bottom feeders.

  • Letmethink

I thought Radditz lost control of the debate as she allowed biden to interrupt 82 times. Early in the debate, I posted here that it seemed to be two on one against Ryan. She did better in that regard as the debate went on. I guess it could have been worse—

I watched the whole debate a second time. If Biden wasn’t interrupting Ryan it was Martha. I didn’t notice it as much the first time. It seemed every time Ryan was close to making a good point someone interrupted him.

Poetic Justice that that lout Biden shot himself in the foot by laughing like immature child through out the debate.

  • Sicilian Papa

Good morning LmT you were on it from the beginning. I didn’t notice it until I watched the debate again.

In college the professors teach liberalism. That sounds good until you are around 30. If you manage to get a good job and buy a house or condo you start to look at taxes. If you get married and start a family you want your kids to grow up in a decent moral world. You also come back to God. He didn’t fit to well in your hedonistic college days. All of a sudden you are more conservative at 30. You may still have some liberal political ideals but you are more conservative.

One other thing once you get out of college you realize just how full of s#it your ivory tower college professors were.

“Steve , After I watched this , I changed my mind on the moderator , Martha Raddatz. She had no control over this debate.” d.d. Huh? I thought she was so impressive and had full control over the entire debate. Now, if you wanted to make that statement about Jim Lehere,(sp?) then I’d go along with your statement. No wonder the Repubs. were trying to get MR off as the moderator b/cause they knew she was intelligent, fair, and would ask good follow up questions and that happened throughout the debate, big time. So, that’s what makes the world go ’round: You have your take and I have mine, but we still are able to communicate with one another. Cheers…and enjoy this glorious day!

Kodak to end healthcare benefits, solves $1.2 billion liability

(Reuters) – Bankrupt Eastman Kodak Co said on Wednesday it was ending retiree healthcare and survivor benefits at the end of the year, allowing it to resolve a $1.2 billion liability, one of its biggest obligations.

The benefits, which include medical, dental, life insurance and survivor income benefits, will end December 31.

Kodak will give retirees a $635 million unsecured claim, a $7.5 million cash payment to support initial administration and benefit obligations, and a $15 million allowed administrative claim that would have priority in reorganization proceedings.

The deal with the official committee representing retirees in Kodak’s bankruptcy proceedings does not affect pension benefits.

What we should take away from this debate is: A. Joe Biden is as arrogant as his boss, they deserve each other and it’s crystal clear why DC and the WH don’t get anything done. B. Paul Ryan held his own, stood up tall, had more class in spite of gang warfare. Shows guts. I like that in a guy. C. The MSM can’t cover up what’s being exposed in these debates.
Next is the foreign affairs between the Pres/Romney. Romney needs to point out the F&F gun walking killing thousands in Mexico, wanna tick off the Latino vote, start asking O how he covered up the death of the border agent and his justice department allowed guns to be used to kill innocent Mexican citizens….that will spark outrage with Latinos.
Now Libya. The president LIED at the UN. Plain and simple. He told the world leaders the video lie. Can’t walk that back.
He needs to be exposed for what he is, an inept leader more intent on keeping himself in office and implementing his warped ideas from liberal/socialist extremists than a president of the people for the people. It’s only “his” people that he will help.

  • Pete S.

Raddatz was/is a wee bit cozy with the democrats running the country. Perhaps that’s why the repubs wanted to get her off as moderator. Fair is not asking far less follow-up questions of the dem on the stage. Fair is not allowing the repub on the stage to be interupted far more times right in the middle of making his points NUMEROUS times…like somewhere between 82-85 times! That’s COMPLETELY ridiculous. Like a couple others have mentioned here, you really notice all this when giving the debate a 2nd watch. Don’t get me wrong though, she did had her good moments.

Was visiting the hospital this Thursday and found that a lot of the nurses there are not voting for Obama this year even though they voted for him in 2008. Their hours are cut from 80 hours to i72 hrs. One nurse even mention to me that she was a lot better off during the Bush years than she is today. The middle class is taxed heavily during this Administration if you consider the price of gas, food, light water , just everyday basic things, and I don’t want to hear anything more about the worse recession or the mess the country was in when Obama took office, he asked for this job with the promise that he can fix itch in 4 years. Remember the one term proposition he talk about. He was pretty confident then.
