Good Morning for you. 6:21pm for me!

Went to Mont-Saint-Michel today quite an amazing place. Climbed hundreds of steps, beautiful church at the top most of the rest is a monastery all built a very long time ago. The views were amazing.

Great news on your brother Coffee Steve!

“No, you go to the hospital, you get treated, you get care, and it’s paid for, either by charity, the government or by the hospital. We don’t have people that become ill, who die in their apartment because they don’t have insurance.”

Really?? What an idiot! Lets all cancel our insurance policies save the miney and go the Romney route.

Lets see if the majority of American voters are dumb enough to buy what this empty suit is selling.

  • Sharon

Paid for my insurance. No government handouts here. Always believe in taking responsibility,. Some government assistance is warranted not a takeover. Conservatives are not heartless .

Poetic Justice that that lout Biden shot himself in the foot by laughing like immature child through out the debate.

I too would have giggled if my opponent had very little to say except ring out platitudes. Maybe Biden was playing a game in his head: giggle every time this guy throws up another hackneyed proclamation.

  • Faith3

Could the unrest in Libya be due to ongoing conflicts and oil contracts or is that just an inconvenient detail many corp. news outlets are forgetting? Anyway, it will cost us massive amounts of money for security (especially if we are using private forces to do this job) so get out your wallets. Not good news for those who hate paying more in taxes but nothing is for free. Cutting out middle and upper middle class deductions will not cut it. Perhaps if we also include cutting out spending in education, healthcare, Medicare, poverty related programs and public service will help some. Let’s just let the whole country crash and burn while we send more treasure as in money and human life overseas while starving our own country of any kind of semblance of sanity or humanity.

Biden has no class. He’s an arrogant, rude, bombastic, buffoonish, crude, crass, unlikeable, strange, condescending, old fool.

If Biden and Obama didn’t know that was a terror attack in Libya 24 to 48 hours after the attack he and Obama are to stupid to be in office. If they knew about the attack and they are lying to us they are to dishonest to be in office.

    Hi, 1nancy2,

I liked Martha’s style & originally thought she did a very good job . After I watched the 85 interruptions , I changed my mind.

Raddatz’s passive tolerance of Biden’s massive number of interruptions which ate holes in Ryan’s two minute that the candidates are allowed in speaking segments, destroyed a near perfect moderation . Martha was responsible as the moderator for reining that in. I’m a big fan of Martha Radditz, overall . Please watch the video I posted today.

Who’s going to win the senate race in Michigan? No ducking the question this time.

I think Stabmeintheeye will win it again but I dont have to like it!

  • Ratboy

    Hey there all
Absoloutly miserable day here in SW Michigan!! Rainy, nasty, gray and ugly!!

Prepping a wild boar for the smoker but had to take a break to come to the office to meet a new agent and help her put together her first deal! That is alway fun and very rewarding!
Then it will be back to a 150 lb wild boar sow. I got it all cut and ready to inject and then on to the smoker! The guy wants all pulled pork but I think not!! I will do him some ribs and mostly pulled pork but I am smoking the loins whole and will give him a real treat (thin sliced with a little bbq or apple molassis drizzle mmmmmm mmmmm gooood!)

  • Mark2

I still can’t figure out why anybody in their right mind would ever vote for Mitt Romney.

Here’s a guy who has a record of selling out the American worker.

Here’s a guy who has a track record of sending American jobs overseas to make Bain and himself rich.

Here’s a guy who has a record of investing his money in China instead of the USA.

Here’s a guy who has cheated the tax system by hiding his money in the Cayman Islands and Swiss Banks and not paying his fair share.

Here’s a guy who was part of the biggest Medicare Fraud scandal ever.

Here’s a guy who actually said he doesn’t care about 47% of the U.S. population, that’s approximately 148 Million Americans – 65 million Senior Citizens who receive social security checks, millions of disbled Americans who receive disability checks, millions of military veterans who depend of the VA hospital and their disability checks, etc.

Here’s a guy who wants to do everything he can to help the very rich, even if it means getting rid of middle class deductions and programs for those in need.

Here’s a guy who said we should’ve never left Iraq and won’t commit to getting us out of Afghanistan.

Here’s a guy who wants to increase our Defense spending and cut taxes for the rich at the same time. That doesn’t even pass the common sense test of balancing our budget.

Here’s a guy who thinks getting rid of Big Bird will balance our budget.

Here’s a guy who’s Flip-Flopped more than John Kerry and John McCain combined:

He was for the Stimulus before he was against it.
He was for universal healthcare before he was against it.
He was against the auto bailout before trying to take credit for their rescue.
He was for a woman’s right to choose before he was against it.
He said he never had the desire to serve in Vietnam before saying he longed to be there.
He was for minimum wage before he was against it.
He was against returning to the Reagan-Bush era before saying he was for it.
He was for Stem-Cell research before he was against it.
He said he didn’t care about the 47% before saying he cared about the 100%.
He was for the assault rifle ban before saying he was against it.
He was against signing the Tax pledge before being the first to sign it.
He said he saw his father march with MLK before admitting he never saw it.
He was ok with hiring illegals to cut his lawn before he was against it.
He said he was a big game hunter before he said he wasn’t.
He said corporations were people before saying they weren’t.
He was against Obamacare before saying he liked the main parts of it before saying he was against it again.
He was for a path to citizenship before being against it, before being for it again.
He was for the TARP before he was against it.
He was for Roe v Wade before he was against it.
He was against people going to the Emergency Room before he was all for it.

This guy can’t be trusted t all. I can understand one or two flip-flops here and there but this guy has over 20 major flip-flops. I don’t even think he knows who he is anymore.

This guy lied so many times during the debate that it was comical for those of us who actually follow politics and know what he has said in the recent past. This guy just conned the American people by simply lying and changing his positions.

To sum up Romney and who he is, I’ll borrow one of my favorite quotes:

“Romney is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re gonna get.”

I’m sorry but I don’t trust Romney at all.

-The main reason I’m voting for Obama is not just because I don’t trust Romney but because I honestly do believe Obama was handed a terrible situation. Yes, he over promised on how quickly he could turn things around but the fact that we never went into the deep depression that everyone predicted and that things are slightly getting better, gives me belief that things will continue to get better. I also figured that if we gave Bush and the Republicans 8 years, Obama definitely deserves another 4 to finish what he’s started.

  • Mark

Next is the foreign affairs between the Pres/Romney. Romney needs to point out the F&F gun walking killing thousands in Mexico, wanna tick off the Latino vote, start asking O how he covered up the death of the border agent and his justice department allowed guns to be used to kill innocent Mexican citizens….that will spark outrage with Latinos.
I want somebody to ask Romney if he still believes in Self Deportation(which he claimed he did at the Republican debates) and if he doesn’t why did he change his stance on illegal immigrants

  • Mark

    @Mark 2
The main reason I’m voting for Obama is not just because I don’t trust Romney but because I honestly do believe Obama was handed a terrible situation.
I don’t really have any negative feelings towards Romney, my beef is more with the Republican party in general. I fear the idea of Romney and a Republican house working together, where as Grover Norquist pointed all they need is a guy in office who has 5 working digits to sign bills.

The thing I find sad about Romney/Ryan is as much as they try and act like they are somehow financially responsible, the math doesn’t add up for cutting taxes and decreasing taxes yet somehow reducing the deficit. Honestly if anybody was truly financially responsible defense would be on the table for reductions(which given how much cash is spent in defense shouldn’t be hard to find places to cut). By my accounts since Reagan took office we wasted 14.2T dollars on defense, doesn’t anybody see a problem with that(and sadly it’s not the Democrats like Republicans try to use as a negative against them since when a Democrat gets in office defense budget generally stays the same as it was when a Republican is in office who increases it)

Interesting, apparently 51 Million tuned in to watch the VP debate but only 1/5th of all Americans who watched tuned into the view it on the Conservative News station.

Mark you got that right. How can a republican get elected. 4/5 of the media is Liberal and Democrat.

the best comment you have made , ever./

  • Doug Z

I want somebody to ask Romney if he still believes in Self Deportation(which he claimed he did at the Republican debates) and if he doesn’t why did he change his stance on illegal immigrants

If you went after the employers this would work well.
Hold these rich employers responsible for what they have done. big FINES and JAIL for breaking the law.

  • Doug Z

Totally Brilliant, how come they don’t see this?

What can be done about it?

I have to admit, this is brilliant… never heard it put this way… so succinct and to the point…plain and simple!

Whoever thought this out is nothing less than a genius

They’re not happy in Gaza ..
They’re not happy in Egypt ..
They’re not happy in Libya ..
They’re not happy in Morocco ..
They’re not happy in Iran ..
They’re not happy in Iraq ..
They’re not happy in Yemen ..
They’re not happy in Afghanistan ..
They’re not happy in Pakistan ..
They’re not happy in Syria ..
They’re not happy in Lebanon ..

    They’re happy in Australia .
    They’re happy in Canada .
    They’re happy in England ..
    They’re happy in France ..
    They’re happy in Italy ..
    They’re happy in Germany ..
    They’re happy in Sweden ..
They’re happy in the USA ..
    They’re happy in Norway ..
    They’re happy in Holland .
    They’re happy in Denmark .

Basically, they’re happy in every country that is not Muslim and unhappy in every
    country that is!

    Not Islam.
    Not their leadership.
    Not themselves.

AND THEN; They want to change those countries to be like…

    Excuse me, but I can’t help wondering…

How damn dumb can you get?

  • Mark

    @Doug Z

I just want Romney grilled for making that comment(self deportation) because it’s obvious he took an extreme position(even farther right then everybody else on the Republican stage) to pander to the far right. I know he’s toned down the rhetoric since then but I think he should be called out for switching positions on it(although I am guessing he will say I always felt this way. lol).

  • Mark

    @Doug Z

The simple fact why many people in the middle east hold a grudge against the US(and something most politicians besides Ron Paul will never tell us since it’s the truth) is basically for the past 70 years the US and other countries go their and interject themselves in the politics of the area mainly for Big Business interests and to a lesser degree to protect Israel.

Whenever I hear a politician claim they hate us for our freedoms and liberties, I think bullcrap

  • Doug Z

that is the right way to do it . If you go after the employer . They will walk home. If you go after the rich employers hard it will work.

  • Doug Z

there is no time in history Muslims and Christians have gotten along, ever. They never will . You cand do nothing to fix that. gary Johnson for President.

BHO can not win Missouri anyway.
