    @lbsles
    ———————–
    Democrats love voter fraud and use it often to steal elections.
    ———————–
    Lol that isn’t even part of the article but I guess it’s a republican talking point to try reason with themselves why Dems win sometimes. Let’s be honest here in most cases of winning states in an election you would have to commit at least 100k false votes, so chances are you are better off just trying to prevent 100K people from voting then actual voter fraud. In all honesty if the Republicans want to get rid of the worst offender of voter fraud why note go after absentee balloting? The most likely scenario for voter fraud is somebody using another persons absentee ballot to vote, but I guess the fact absentee balloting generally swings in favor of republicans means we won’t get tough measures to try curb that method of voting down, instead we will go after poor people, students, old people and minorities(ie people who generally vote Democrat)

    Honestly can’t republicans get the idea that maybe some of their ideas just don’t do well with parts of the population so instead of trying to disenfranchise the vote their by making stupid voter fraud claims as if that is the reason why votes go towards the Democrats, maybe come up with better policies that can win that population base over.

  • Mark

    In all honesty the Democrats should double down on Voter ID laws. Make a bill that guarentes that every citizen of voting age gets a Voter ID in order to “protect the integrity of the vote”. Give them out when a child graduates High School, link them to Obamacare, etc etc

    I am guessing you would see the Republicans run and hide and find every excuse to not do that, hell they probably would get the religious right to claim it’s the mark of the beast to get try get opposition to it. And when the Republicans back away from getting all citizens a voter ID proclaim how the Republicans are against the integrity of the vote. lol

  • Mark2

    This is the real Romney:

  • Mark

    @mark2

    I think that video sums up how Romney talks. basically what he says is factually correct in the sense if you break it down word by word there is no lie in it BUT it’s very misleading to the truth

    In this case no lobbyists are RUNNING his campaign is true, but it’s completely ignoring any lobbyists that are advising him on issues and the original statement is made to seem like he has absolutely no lobbyists as part of his campaign team at all.

    It would be like if I stole $9.98 from somebody, and they then asked me did you steal that jar that had 10 dollars in it. If I said no, I factually would be correct because I only stole the jar with $9.98 not $10, but my answer was misleading because technically i did steal the jar

  • DB

    Oh no, son of suiko–Mark2. Another ideological cement head who thinks left wing blog fiction statements are facts. My head is going to explode being around such a large intellectual vacuum. Mark be careful you are being sucked in and starting to lose the minimal credibility you had. You are going to spin yourself right into the ground.

    Jeffie, you are not standing behind your man or you just don’t want to lose your fantasy life audience?? Obama wins I leave, Romney wins you leave–come on be a big boy. I’d say take a risk but according to you and the other lefties on this site it is no risk.

    @applestinx
    this was there follow up hit and a much better song imo.

  • Mark

    I’ll take that bet DB.

    Just going by Rasmussen polls for the swing states

    Colorado, Iowa and Ohio are leaning Obama which should be more then enough to get him over 270

    Obama also has leads in Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin which some may consider swing states but unless the President loses in a landslide I find it tough to see those go red(Wisconsin being the most likely to turn)

    Once you factor in all these states listed above that gives 280 electoral votes. It should be noted Nevada(6) and New Hampshire(4) are rated as ties, basically leaving Florida, North Carolina and Virginia in the leaning closer to Romney category but not sure things.

    Probably my biggest fear of turning on the Obama side would be Colorado but even without those 9 electoral votes Obama wins.

  • Mark

    of the 3 states that are leaning Romney I should point out I think Virginia will is the most likely of the bunch of going Blue, and North Carolina is basically a lost cause(unless Obama wins in a landslide)

  • Mark2

    @DB

    Didn’t Rush once say that he would move to Costa Rica if Obama beat McCain? It’s just like you Republicans to always go back on your word, bunch of Flip-Floppers.

    Also, Obama can lose Florida, Virginia, North Carolina, Colorado, Nevada, and New Hampshire and still win the election with 271 Electoral votes.

  • Suikostinger

    Didn’t Rush once say that he would move to Costa Rica if Obama beat McCain?

    No he said he would move to Costa Rica if Obamacare passed…

    I also don’t get my news from left wing blogs….it’s just yet another one of DBs fantasies that he makes up.

  • AppleStinx

    @1966

    I like it, and also “He’s a Rebel”, but I got an excuse to post “Da Doo Ron Ron” last night (Ratboy did Ron instead of run). I’m trying not to go too off-topic. :grin:

  • Mark2

    Great News!!!

    The most recent Arizona poll now has Obama and Romney in a statistical Tie. I just saw this on CNN and Real Clear Politics. If Obama wins Arizona it would be a 22 point swing being that 11 electoral votes are already being counted towards Romney. This could be huge and it would definitely be the nail in Romney’s coffin. And this was the first Arizona poll conducted after the Presidential Debate. Being from Arizona, I’m here to tell you that we love our PBS, that’s something you don’t want to mess with.

    The Arizona polling group has the following:

    Likely Voters
    Obama = 44%
    Romney = 42%

    Sampling error of 4.4

    The Obama Campaign needs to mobilize in the Tucson and Phoenix areas immediately. Talk about a shot in the arm. This is exactly what they needed.

    Update:

    Spent the day with my Brother in CCU, he raising all heck, even though he is horse from the tubes he had in his throat, he is breathing on his own and is feisty, and is demanding a wheel chair so he can go home :-)

    Had a very good day with him though.

    Night Everyone

    Peace

  • Mark

    @Mark2

    While One poll saying Obama has a chance in Arizona is nice, until I see other polls going that way I wouldn’t hold my breath. I always felt like Obama might have a shot in Arizona if he basically went on a landslide(in which case those 11 electoral points would be meaningless because he would have like 320-330 electoral votes) but much like Michigan or Pennsylvania going Red, it’s a longshot(and better chance of seeing one of those 2 states turning red then Arizona going blue).

    On the plus side for Democrats out of Arizona, I think a decent chance Democrat Richard Carmona(army veteran who was the Surgeon General under Bush) wins the Senate seat. While he seems to be what you call a Blue Dog Democrat(ie somebody who is aligned closely to the center), him winning does give a voice of moderation in the Senate which is sorely lacking

  • PaulG

    Romney now leads among Hispanics in Florida,,after being behind 52% to 43% last month and the pollster is one of the most left leaning newspapers in the country..

    http://www.baynews9.com/content/news/baynews9/news/article.html/content/news/articles/bn9/2012/10/13/exclusive_poll_obama.html

    Ole Clint is two for two in the debate’s,,first the Empty Suit,,then the “Grin with the body behind it”…

  • Mark

    The Obama campaign needs to push Romney’s “self deporting” and adopting “Arizona style laws” comment from the Republican debates(I would try slip it into the next debate). I think pushing it helps a few ways

    1. It shows how extreme Romney will go on a position(ie he was the most extreme on illegal immigration to try please the far right)

    2. If he takes it back(which I am assuming he will) he then looks like a flip flopper(or somebody who will say anything to win) and it just add to that narrative.

  • Mark

    Romney saying for illegals to self deport

  • Sicilian Papa

    President Obama is hiding on Libya. I read all the posts today saying Romney is a liar. Biden eluded to that the other night when confronting Ryan.

    I will admit they are both off base at times with their claims. Biden doubled down the other night on Libya. The President hides like a coward. He isn’t answering any questions and the corrupt lib. media is not asking any.

    You guys on the left can say anything you want about Romney-Ryan. At least they didn’t cover up a terror attack and run around blaming everyone else. While still lying threw their collective teeth about what they knew and when they knew it, disgusting.

    Biden is a reprehensible human being. He’s a creep.

  • Sicilian Papa

    @

    The lefties

    I have met a lot of Joe Biden’s in my day. A phony who tries to come off as the every man. His arrogant, rude, buffoonish, crude, classless, bombastic, strange, condescending performance the other night proves it. He is a plagiarist and that says a lot about his character. A talentless bum, if he didn’t get into politics he wouldn’t be qualified to clean the toilets. He cares about the middle class, yeah right. He cares about himself and that is all he cares about.

    I read the post from the guys on the left on this site. I would take one of you in a pinch for every one hundred Joe Biden’s. Don’t turn your back on Biden because he will sell you down the river to save his skin. He is the cowardly lion.

  • DB

    Mark, the bet as you called it isn’t with you. It is with Jeffie and it is if Obama wins I will not post on this site and if Romney wins Jeffie will leave. Apparently Jeffie doesn’t believe his own bs because I have had this offer out for a couple of weeks now and he refuses to respond. Now if you would like to take part that is ok with me but you are not in the same class as Jeffie and that is a compliment to you.

    Mark2, do you actually believe the junk you post eg. that Obama is ahead in Arizona??

    Poor, poor suiko, he even gets upset and denies things that I didn’t say about him. The left wing blog statement was about Mark2 but you do it too. Now you can get upset. Are you and Mark2 related by sockpuppetry??
