CBS SUNDAY MORNING WITH CHARLES OSGOOD was the #1 Sunday morning news program in households, viewers and adults 25-54, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Oct. 7, 2012. CBS SUNDAY MORNING posted a 3.5/09 with 4.93m viewers and a 1.3/06 in adults 25-54.
Season-to-date, CBS SUNDAY MORNING was up +3% in households (3.5/09 from 3.4/10) and +2% in viewers (4.98m from 4.89m) compared to last year.
Sunday’s broadcast featured Sharyl Attikisson’s look inside the world of lobbyists; Anthony Mason’s profile of Pete Townshend, the legendary guitarist and member of The Who; Rita Braver’s visit to artist Winslow Homer’s restored studio at Prouts Neck, Maine; and Bill Geist’s trip to Cooperstown, N.Y. for a reunion of the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League.

I am disappointed there was no coverage of President Obama winning the election. After all, he won the presidency of the United States. He won quite a challenge and all we hear is Ben Stein’s somewhat unbalanced, one-sided view. Antoinette Broussard
