Jersey Shore rating aren’t that bad but it is dropping
I’m not a fan of these 2 hour Jersey Shore features. I just lose interest as it goes on.
Okay with the VP debate on everything has a reason to go down sk the facts that The Real Housewives of Miami went up is actually pretty good, they would have been higher if the debate would have been on. I really think next week we will start to see a turn around for them cause next week has A LOT OF DRAMA!
I bet MTV is glad this is the final season of Jersey Shore. Those ratings are horrible compared to earlier seasons.
10pm 2+ Mill
11pm 3+ Mill
Dear Bravo remove RHOM my god those ratings are atrocious. If they renew this show for season 3 they mine as well bring back RHODC.
Expected more for the Yankees/0′s game. It went 13 innings. I was expecting 7 million and 2.5 demo. And the Cards/Nats game did better than Tigers/A’s. A little surprising but the Tigers/A’s game Verlander was pitching. He put everyone to sleep.
@DM
Me Either. I guess there reason behind it is that the season is boring so they are showing 2 hour to hurry it. Rating might be better showing 2 episode instead of one.
That was a compliment towards Verlander because he was so dominant.
I wonder if the commercials scarred some viewers away
It’s Always Sunny was WAY lower then I hoped

From Always Sunny
@Dodge Hickey
Ratings mean little this season as it has already been renewed for a 9th
But then again Always Sunny has been in the 0.6-0.8/1mil-2mil range since Season 5
Family Guy audience must be strong cause all there episodes are repeats but it always manage to get 2+ Mill ratings and crack the top ten.
Jersey Shore down to 1.8 is so encouraging! May the slide excellerate!
Wow Always Sunny is waaaaay down. It wasnt a good episode anyways. But FX didn’t do a very good job promoting it this season too. Hopefully it gets better
However great that The League was able to keep pace with Sunny. It was a pretty good episode
But again what was up with FX promoting these 2? It seems like they started promoting them just a few weeks before the premiere and the promos were quick little ads they threw in there for fun
Even promotions for American Horror Story (FX’s #1-2 show overall) seem to come late and quick. Hopefully AHS can still break a 2.0 on Wednesday
@ DougF
But Sunny has always in recent years been able to crack a 1.0 for its premiere then settle down to about a .8 a little after the broadcast regular season starts. Maybe the late start hurt them
And even though its already renewed for a 9th season they have a possibility for a 10th if they do well so rating do matter for the future. At this rate the 9th may be its last but I hope in the coming weeks it can bounce back to at least a .8
And u can’t shake the feeling that once FX decides to end Sunny that will also mean the end of The League as well. And since I love both shows I’m rooting for them to do well so they can stay on the air as long as possible. Especially The League which had really hit its stride as of last season
I’ve started watching a new spy show on the BBC and Cinemax here in the US called “Hunted”. It’s a pretty good, if occasionally somewhat slow, show.
From Wikipedia:
Hunted is a 2012 television drama series created and written by Frank Spotnitz and produced by Kudos Film and Television and Big Light Productions for British broadcaster BBC, for their flagship channel BBC One and American premium cable broadcaster Cinemax. The series premiered on Thursday, 4 October 2012 on BBC One [1] and will begin on Friday, 19 October 2012[2] on Cinemax.
Australian actress Melissa George stars as Samantha, an espionage operative for “Byzantium”,[a private intelligence agency. She survives an attempt on her life, which she strongly suspects was orchestrated by members of her own squad. After recovering and returning to active duty, she goes back to work undercover as a nanny, not knowing who tried to kill her or whom to trust.It becomes evident that the attempt on her life is tied into a horrific event from her childhood.
End Quote
George is a decent actress, although her fight scenes seem a hair implausible given her size vs the size of her attackers. She’s no Maggie Q, but her fighting style is plausible, given she’s not an “action star”.
The acting of the rest of the cast is excellent even though I don’t recognize most of the British actors. Except one: Indira Varma, late of Human Target, will be making an appearance shortly – she appeared for one brief moment in a doorway in episode two. I’m looking forward to that as she’s a favorite of mine.
If you like spy stuff, check it out. It’s not as good as Strike Back and has less action, but it’s similar to Spooks in a way. Gritty, bloody (serious shooting and torture incidents) and fairly realistic.
I want sunny to last to season 10. It premiered very low.
Both FX shows premiered terrible.
