FOX News' Coverage of the Vice Presidential debate came in second with a 1.9 adults 18-49 rating.  Jersey Shore earned a 1.8 adults 18-49 rating, down from last week's 2.5 adults 18-49 rating. We only receive the top 100 cable shows for adults 25-54 for the whole day from our primary source. If you don't see your show it wasn't in that top 100 list.

The list below is long but you can use your browsers "find on page" feature (usually CTRL+F or CMD+F) to search - that's probably the easiest way to find Thursday night's episode of a specific show

Eww Melissa George ruined Alias. I would never watch a show where she’s the star.

MTV was smart to announce this as the final season of Jersey Shore. Their ratings are declining across the board which makes me feel a little better about The Challenge’s performance. I wonder how Underemployed.. I can’t see their target demo wanted to watch a show about how sucky post college life is in these tough economic times when they’re already living that grim reality.

  • Michael

Even with, Andy Cohen telling all Jersey housewives to tweet about Miami and showing a sneak peak of the final reunion, still didn’t increase in ratings? Damn lol!

  • joss

    @CHRISTIAN

    Eww Melissa George ruined Alias.

I did not liked her in Alias but then i ve watched Triangle she was amazing and the movie as well

  • Dr. Britt

I think SPIKE should move TNA back an hour to 9pm. I don’t think the early start favors that show at all. It works better when the 10pm hour is included.

  • I like this show

Very disappointed in the rating The League got. To me it has surpassed It’s Always Sunny by a lot in terms of quality. Sunny idk what to think of it anymore wasn’t very good. League premiere episode was ok I expect it to get better as the season moves along just like last season.

  • Ram510

    @ I like this show

I agree, but I’m still holding hope for Sunny

  • Mark

FX isn’t doing great in the comedy department. I expected better numbers for Sunny and The League. Louie (which isn’t returning until 2014) and Wilfred dropped a lot this past season. Anger Management didn’t do as well as it should have. Archer is great, but not a ratings success. Unsupervised got very low ratings. And both of their late-night shows are flops. At least they still have SOA, Justified and AHS.

  • brutony

Melissa George is the Bomb! Who cares if shes not an action star, or much of an actress–when I see her, I aint thinking of Merryl Streep!

  • The Hafk

Seriously. What the hell happened to FX?

Last year, Wilfred and Louie appeared on this list every week and did fairly well, and It’s Always Sunny premiered with 1.4.

Why the sudden drop? FX was doing fine BEFORE they had that terrible charlie sheen show, but once it left the block nothing has been able to get ratings since? There’s no good explanation for it. The competition was stronger last year, too!

“The Greatest Event in Television History” was VERY funny. The fact that promos never said what it was just made it great.

It was a shot for shot remake of the opening titles of the seminal 80s series “Simon & Simon” with actors Jon Hamm and Adam Scott. They spend 10 minutes talking about the fake making of it, with director Paul Rudd, before finally showing the main event. I’m too young for the original series, so this was fresh and new to me, and funny as hell.

I love that Adult Swim spent so much time hyping an obscure and absurd thing like remaking the opening titles of an 80s series that no one has talked about in years.

And if anyone wants to see it, it’s online now:

Wasn’t Jersey Shore pulling 4s two seasons ago? The drop to 1.8 is big time. Glad it’s almost over.

  • John A

I saw episode 1 of Hunted and its a good show. Started with 4.5 million on BBC 1 last week and lost 1 million in ep 2. Not looking good. Its a bit too dark so i understand the drop.

  • NE1

I admit I missed Always Sunny because of that stupid debate! Won’t happen again next week. Been loving it in syndication.

  • mz

Why is MTV burning through Jersey Shore episodes? I understand it’s the last season, but they should milk the episodes as much as they can. They would be getting better ratings if they just did 1 hour, wouldn’t they?

  • Mr Mikey

    @mz
No it’s because the show has gotten boring.

  • brandon

I just started the league and its now my favorite show! I was wondering how its rating compared to what it normally gets? Higher or Lower?
