  • Kevin Somerhalder

Happy for the CW. Finally they have some good ratings. The only thing left now: Keep it up!

  • Robsten_Fan

    Well done CW…
    The best TV… <3

  • tv#1

Good for TVD. I love that show. It is probably my favorite show on TV. I am happy it premiered well, and I hope they have a really good season (both ratings and content wise).

  • Andy

Who writes the press releases. Looks like a 15-year old tween fangirling over her vampires and handsome “beasts”. All being said, I’m glad the CW has some good news twice a week.

  • david

Shouldn’t they wait for the final numbers?

  • jamie

Which, if you remember, opened well — did y`all add that lol? Seems very sarcastic for a press release…

  • johncarter

even the cw knows people are just sampling the beast and won’t be back…lol

  • Flame

Well, this “small (3.5%) percentage of the country” could mean that with adjustments those ratings look quite a bit more ordinary in the end.

  • a

yay for the vampire diaries. beauty and the beast isnt that bad, I wish critics who don’t personally like a show have to always write it off as terrible. plus kristen kruerk is cute, so :)

  • Joseph

I enjoyed the BatB pilot more than Arrow, i’ll keep watching both shows though.

  • Jared

I’m not normally a CW watcher so I’m pretty surprised how much I like both Arrow and B&TB. I Hope both series continue to stay strong for the network.

  • MikeB

I actually liked B&TB more than Arrow too. I thought to myself the other day they needed a good crime drama and if this one holds with the pilot a crime drama w/ the Beast twist would work for me. I also think they explaination of the Beast made his appearance reasonable and they fact that he doesn’t alway look that way makes watching romantic moments between them more paletable (assuming that’s where they are headed and considering it’s CW I’m assuming it is) than if he looked like a beast all the time.

  • Michael

Mark Pedowitz, at least has two strong days out of the week, he can actually smile about.

Even if the ratings drop in the finals, still very strong numbers!

  • Brett Heitkam

The CW is in desperate need of hits! I hope they can keep up the momentum with Arrow and BatB. Haven’t watched BatB yet, but the Arrow pilot was amazing and I think the show will be a Smallville-sized success!

  • Flame

@MikeB, who wrote: ” I thought to myself the other day they needed a good crime drama and if this one holds with the pilot a crime drama w/ the Beast twist would work for me.”

Apparently they are working on “Wunderland”, an adaptation of the classic Alice in Wonderland as a crime story. Some (reliable?) sources say that Grey’s Anatomy’s Chyler Leigh is associated with it.

  • Brett Heitkam

I actually thought the Wunderland concept sounded pretty cool. Have the main character cop discover/unlock the secret passageway to Wonderland; then scary/wacky characters from Wonderland come to New York (or wherever the story is set) and wreak havoc. I could see it being all right in a Grimm/OUAT sort of way.

  • david

Great to see the CW have another successful night. I thougth Arrow was really good and i thought Beauty and the Beas was good. Both shows i will watch again to see where they go. It’s good to see the other ratings as well. I hope they don’t fall to much in the finalls. I also really hope alot of the people that watced the shows the past two nights come back to watch them next week. The CW really needs to bring up there ratings to above 1.0 ona regular basses and not just with TVD.

  • Sia

Stefan and Elena romance always brings in the ratings for TVD.
Thank god they are trying to save that couple.
    I can’t stand Damon’s whining.
