Want to know how you can tell a campaign is in real trouble?
*Obama travel plans show map is wide open…
The morning after Tuesday’s second presidential debate, Barack Obama flies to the lightly populated state of Iowa. The next day, the president heads to New Hampshire, which has even fewer people.
Mr Obama’s decision to travel to two states that together have just 10 electoral college votes out of the 270 required for victory speaks volumes for how tight the election has become.
lbsles – I do agree with Laurence Galvin. Deluging this blog with stuff copied from rush and other sites is old. Tell me what you think and if you think that some of would be interested in reading or hearing what rush had to say tell us to go read something. Otherwise I usually just skim what you post and don’t really think that it is worth responding to what rush said because Rush isn’t participating on this blog.
I have the impression you cut and paist because you can’t think of anything to say for yourself.
What’s with David Axlerod? Is he I’ll? He looks like he’s an extra on the Walking dead!,
@Suiko: I hardly ever use “Left Wing” or “Right Wing,” but usually refer to the left ‘liberal Dems” or conservative-Republicans. I seriously doubt that I used the term “left-wing crap,” but anything is possible.
Thanks for your in-advance apology if it turned out it wasn’t me. It wasn’t me.
In the past, you have asked me several times why I would condemn or complain about people like Jeff and others for cutting & pasting, yet never called out “lbsles.” At least lbsles IS giving Limbaugh credit for the words posted. It’s not coming from some blogger holed-up in the basement of his/her parent’s home, yet we never see who actually wrote the long-a$s piece. Limbaugh is welcomed into millions of homes across America every day. Today, I was actually interested in Rush’s discussion about media polls and read the whole thing. But, that particular piece was geared to people like me, so why would I condemn it? THe clip-and-paste stuff is usually very mean-spirited and it gets personal in a dirty way. I DID try several times, unsuccessfully, to have the mods limit such posts. I put it to one of the mods here and didn’t even get a reply. Some people here DO get a reply sometimes. Apparently, I’m one of those who are not mod-worthy of a personal answer. But, that’s OK.
We can agree to disagree and I do respect people from the other side, like you and TheBoss1. But, others, here I have a big disdain for (no secret). But, I DO see morons posting here, both liberal and conservative, and I’m sure that you do as well.
I’m as likely to call my people out as you are with your own people. I don’t listen to Rush, his show was never my cup of tea. However, I do agree with him most of the time. And, as others here have said, Rush is an entertainer. A professional talk show host, who will get you all-riled up by baiting those who disagree with him. That’s the business of talk radio.
Can’t we all just get along?
Tuesday night will be the once and for all turn around for BO. He will put Mitt away for good.
Coffee Steve
I am not sure what is going on but somebody on the left knows something. Debbie stabmeintheeye started running adds on tv again. We were not seeing this and she had a pretty pretty good lead but……………..the ads started againn yesterday!!!! Still no Obama or r
Romney ads back on yet though.
Coffee Steve – Obama could win by just winning about 8 to 10 States by a small majority. Then loose the Popular vote because the other 40 to 42 States go the other way. Obama could not claim a mandate and his (so called) leadership would be ignored by both Political Parties in Congress. He never got along with Republicans and the Democrats in Congress would be looking to distance themselve from an unpopular President.
The House will probably stay republican and it doesn’t sound like the democrats will gain any seats in the Senate. Not a good composition for doing the things he probably wants to do.
A Campaign in trouble, they turn to entertainment on Comedy Central (Biden was practising the other night). I guess we all need to learn to laugh about government. Maybe our government is a big joke. IO and NH visit is probably just token visits. I bet they will be his last visit to those states before the election.
@ He will put Mitt away for good.
Does that mean he has already been put away but now it is for good? Did ya watch the last debate??
@Rick in Mt: >>> …I don’t remember many Presidents and First Lady’s being on TV talk Show as often as BO & MO. <<<
Politicians got TV face time only when they were interviewed in the past. The relatively-way is to BYPASS the news media and address the people directly on an entertainment show, where they know they will be served up with softball questions.
We have too much media and everything is 24/7. We have TOO many choices.

You are always wrong. No, I don’t want to just get along I’m feeling pretty hostile. Just having a little fun!
He really needs to read the stuff on his desk before he goes out to tell another lie!
Obama Claims ‘We Got Back Every Dime’ of Bailout Money on Same Day CBO Reports $24B Loss…
Obama: ‘We Got Back Every Dime’ of Bailout; CBO: Bailout Will Lose $24 Billion
President Barack Obama said on Thursday that “we got back every dime we used to rescue the financial system.”
According to the Congressional Budget Office, however, the government will lose about $24 billion on the bailout.

For Every Person Added to Labor Force, 10 Added to Those Not in Labor Force
A new chart from the minority side of the Senate Budget Committee details the fact that, since January 2009, for every person added to the labor force, 10 have been added to those not in the labor force. Here’s a chart showing the dwindling labor force:

I am not sure what will come out of the debate this Tuesday. So far the Obama/Biden debate strategy has resulted in turning some people off. A National emergency, like demonstrations in Mongolia over a Utube video about Mongolism, that would cause him to have to cancel might be the best strategy.
@ Rick in Mt
that would cause him to have to cancel might be the best strategy
Here is what he should do. Say he has to cancel because he has an emergency apperance on Seseme Street and an interview with Big Bird!!!!
axelgreese knows he is going to lose, that is why he is white as a ghost

You would look pretty pale too if your jewels were in the vise as tight as his are these days!!!!
Ralph Hahn – The softball question are the only question that we get straight answers for.
Ratboy – The Labor Participation Rate reflects the same thing.
Can’t we just get a loan? lol
@HRJ: Tomorrow night’s debate questions are coming from the audience, although a moderator may ask some. THe final debate, next week or the week after, is a forum on foreign affairs & domestic issues. This is the final battle. But, Mitt may have a disadvantage since Bob Schieffer of CBS News is the moderator. He’s so far up Obama’s kiester, watch who gets the hard questions and who gets the softballs.
Someone said above that Obama/Biden have no record to run on so they distract people by bringing up Mitt’s wealth (self-made) or not challenge the Republicans about not detailing any plan they may have. Is there a plan for the next four years of Obama/Biden? With the Dems, we don’t even know what their plan is for tomorrow! If we had a fair-minded mainstream media, we could truly get to know thr candidates other than just from their soundbites. Today, CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN & MSNBC are like the New York mob’s five families. They are simply corrupt. The New York Times is the largest of the Obama bandwagon. THey have a Public Editor who blasted her own bosses for little-to-no coverage of the Libyan terrorist attack. Why? It makes Obama look bad.
The reason why libs hate Fox News so much is because they get confused when they see a Republican on TV. Fox has paid contributors and panelists who are Democrats. They probably pay Democrat analysts more money than MSNBC does. There and CNN, you’re likely only hearing from ONE side. The Republicans are only newsworthy when the MM sees a gaffe or a slip. Joe Biden is the Kind and Queen of gaffes. The White House Press Spokesman had to issue many retractions and further explanations to clarify what Biden said at the VP debate, yet everyone believes Ol’ Joe. I don’t know if he is deliberately lying to the people or is halfway into The Twilight Zone and doesn’t know that he’s (ahem) truth-challenged. But on Fox, you truly do get the news ‘Fair & Balanced’. But, don’t confuse legitimate hard news shows like “The Fox Report” and “Special Report” with the opinionated hosts after 8pm ET.

MSNBC has paid contributors and panelists who are Republican, doesn’t mean either station is not incredibly biased
