DAVID LETTERMAN, CHRIS ROCK, JON STEWART, STEPHEN COLBERT AND MORE

 

 

ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live” is heading home to Kimmel’s birthplace, Brooklyn, New York, for a week of late-night shows, October 29 – November 2. Kimmel’s guests include notable New Yorkers David Letterman, Chris Rock, Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert, Kelly Ripa, Tracy Morgan and more.

 

The shows will also feature musical performances by Alicia Keys, Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings, Vampire Weekend and the Avett Brothers with the Brooklyn Philharmonic.

 

Throughout the week, Kimmel will highlight the people and sights of Brooklyn, including a tour of his old neighborhood and childhood home.

 

“JKL”’s week in Brooklyn coincides with the inaugural game of the newly-minted Brooklyn Nets at Barclays Center. From October 29 through November 2, “JKL” will broadcast from BAM -- Brooklyn Academy of Music. It will be an exciting week for New York’s most colorful and populous borough.

 

Starting on January 8, 2013, “Jimmy Kimmel Live” will air weeknights on ABC at 11:35 p.m. Until then, tune in to “JKL” weeknights at midnight on ABC.

Jimmy Kimmel serves as host and executive producer of Emmy Award-nominated “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” the ABC Television Network’s late-night talk show. “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” which currently airs weeknights at midnight in most markets but is moving to its new time slot of 11:35 p.m. beginning January 8, 2013, broadcasts from Disney’s El Capitan Theater, located on Hollywood Boulevard in the heart of L.A.’s star-studded Walk of Fame. Kimmel showcases this illustrious location’s unique character throughout his show by regularly interacting with the local “Super Heroes” parading along the boulevard and challenging passersby to participate in various comedy bits.
