Definitions:

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live baseball game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

    Oh REVENGE, REVENGE, REVENGE…

Performing on the same level as what was a collapsing DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES last season. And what’s worse, at least that show was long in the tooth. You are not even two whole seasons old. The show is just going to keep on dropping. I expect high 1’s by the time we reach spring.

And look at the 1/2 hour drop- from a 2.8/6 to a 2.5/6 and a loss of about 63K viewers. Obviously, those OUAT fans change the channel.

OUAT- such a steady hit for ABC. Amazing considering the genre.

666- LOL. Come on ABC, do a mercy killing already.

  • Glue

    Revenge! :)

    OUaT :(

  • samu

    OUAT >-<

  • rob60990

so much for Revenge dropping against The Walking Dead.

  • were123

Happy that Revenge got up even when OUAT went down, I was worried that The Walking Dead premiere could’ve hurt it, but now that I know it didn’t, I can rest assure :)

  • MoHasanie

Why is OUAT falling so much?!? Never expected it to fall to a 3.0 already. This show’s ratings are quite unpredictable but I think it will be adjusted up.
Good for Revenge. But the 0.3 drop in the half hour is a little steep. The Walking Dead didn’t affect its ratings.
I thought the episode was good, but a little confusing. Like, when Victoria gave that announcement to the press, I found it hard to follow what happened, so I’ll have to go read the summary of the episode.
666 is dead. Too bad. I never watched last night’s episode but I don’t think I will, since its going to be cancelled.

  • rob60990

The irony of a Scandal fan talking about retention and a half hour drop…

  • HB

    WTH happened to OUAT???? :O
Glad Revenge is a bit up :D

  • Jay

Man, I’m already over Revenge. I really enjoyed the first half of season one, but it seems to have lost its momentum. Every storyline is just treading water…

  • HotLatino4GayMarriage

Happy for Revenge and TM, even though TM may be adjusted down.

  • lando

OUAT was great! Next week’s episode should go up! Impressed at Revenge considering The Walking Dead premiere.

  • Joshua

    The Walking Dead is boring…

The Good Wife and Revenge way better!!!

  • Dean_W

666 Park Avenue is dead. Go The Mentalist !!!

  • eridapo

    AR 2.7 10.16/ 2.5 8.67
    GW 1.8 9.14/ 1.6 8.95
    TM 2.1 10.88/ 2.0 10.37

    REV 2.8 8.53/ 2.5 7.90
    666Park 1.7 5.21/ 1.4 4.63

CBS Possible time delay due to Football of nearly 25 Minutes

  • HB

    @Max

Oh god just stop it already! Revenge is getting WAY better numbers than its FIRST season!

  • KatieBell

Oh Max, Max, Max – you are so predictable.

  • Daw Johnson

Very disappointing numbers for football, to be honest.

This was the Green Bay Packers, second only to the Cowboys in terms of reliability as a ratings draw, against the Texans, who were undefeated going into the game *AND* coming off a pretty impressive ratings display against the Jets on Monday.

  • pmiller

GREAT for ‘Revenge’, so-so for ‘Once Upon A Time’, unfortunately grim as expected for ‘The Good Wife’ and ‘666 Park Avenue’.

  • RMH

The Mentalist probably went up because it actually started on time in most places.

  • tv_viewer

There may be some adjustments coming. Didn’t OUAT end at 9:01 pm?
